A wonderfully private, secret location, upon arrival met by Lea, who was a very happy easy going style person who immediately made us feel comfortable. Peter arrived shortly after and again a very easy going, down to earth person who was easy to talk with. They impressed that they were available at anytime if we needed. Follow up on the day of leaving was excellent with clear messages.. we have no doubt that we will visit again.

Melissa is a fantastic host. My family has stayed at the Red Cedar Cottage several times over the years and Melissa has always been very responsive and helpful host. The property is very central and in close walking distance to town and the beach. We attended the local weekend market and enjoyed the local produce.

Fantastic setting and so private. Lovely personal touches and everything as described. Space to enjoy the privacy yet close enough to a vibrant town as well. Our dog loved it!

A warm and welcoming host, very communicative and caring. Lovely place just as described, with plenty to do nearby, easy to find with a gorgeous view to sit and relax with a glass of wine. It was beautiful to hear the ocean sounds at dusk and our toy cavoodle enjoyed the walks at the beach and lovely grass areas. Bedding was very comfortable and the tv entertainment was great. Spotlessly clean and beautifully curated, the cottage was everything we could have hoped for and more. Peaceful, comfortable and filled with thoughtful touches, it also felt private which we appreciated. The welcome bottle of fizz was very generous as were all the other amenities designed to create a feeling of home away from home. Only a five minute drive from Daylesford, the location was super convenient and easily accessible. Similarly, Heather was incredibly responsive and quick to help with local tips and suggestions. An all-round lovely stay! We hope to visit again one day soon.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was welcoming and comfortable, with all the amenity you need for a short or longer stay. It was too cold for us to use the pool but the open fire place and spa bath were both highlights. We loved exploring the farm and helping with the sheep and chickens and our dog had an amazing time running around the property. This house offers the best of both worlds - private bush surrounds but only 5 mins into Lorne for the beach and restaurants! Jack and Hayley were fantastic with communication - super responsive and accommodating! We also really appreciated meeting Jenny and Peter and their hospitality during our stay. Highly recommend and we look forward to booking again in the future!

The property was cosy, clean and well thought out. There were 5 of us (women) and we had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. We were within walking distance of stunning Lake Wendouree and about a 20 minute walk to where all the fabulous restaurants, bars and cafes are located. Lovely bed linen, nice big bathroom, 2 toilets. Bright and airy, comfortable couches and plenty of pillows. Clare was in contact with us to ensure a smooth entry to the property and there were clear instructions on how to operate the TV, air con and heater and also what needed to be done when leaving. A beautiful property that I highly recommend. We had a great relaxing time in a spacious, immaculate home.

Our stay at Lorraine’s place was well worth it…clean, spacious, comfortable…short distance driving to local attractions, shopping and restaurants. Would definitely recommend to others.
