Great place to stay!! Erik has done a great job with this private little cottage and his house and grounds are just beautiful. Didn’t have to pay a cleaning fee as well which is very generous. Definitely well worth the stop for the night! He also recommended the Allerton Park which is right down the road and it’s well worth to see.

Loved our stay! We’ve stayed at lots of AirBnBs and this was hands-down the cleanest. The large yard was great for my boys. The amenities- from towels to bedding to games - were all clean and well-thought-out. This is a cozy little space for some time to get away. Convenient location for reaching Aikman Wildlife Adventure and Yoder’s restaurant.

Platypus Hills is a superb retreat! The home was perfectly equipped, clean and so comfortable! Danielle, Susie, Nancy & Dawn are perfect hosts! Available and friendly but respectful of your privacy. The setting is idyllic and provided me and friends a peaceful and relaxing get away that left us refreshed and re-energized. Just loved our time! Thank you all!

This was an EXCELLENT experience. I only had one night here, but it was one of the best Airbnb experiences I've had. The property is even better than the description and photos! I just loved it. Cozy, clean, organized -- I felt immediately at home. I adore the interior decor's celebration of Chanute Air Force Base's history of influence on the city of Rantoul. It's such an interesting archive of history! Brad's an excellent communicator -- friendly, responsive, helpful, proactive. I absolutely will return to this place.

We were in town for the Gamma Phi circus at ISU and really enjoyed our stay at Black Beauty! The location was so convenient to great restaurants, walkable to downtown and points of historic interest, and a very quick drive to campus and back for the show. The space is beautiful and the black walls made everything feel cozy and a bit mysterious and luxurious at the same time!

The Oasis was super cute and well stocked. Our group appreciated the attention to detail. The coffee bar was well stocked and there were chargers in every room. The space is open and inviting. We were able to park in the garage, which was a bonus because it was pouring down rain during our stay. We will definitely recommend this place!

I had no idea what to expect as this was my first time staying in an Air B&B, and this exceeded all of my expectations. I just wish I could have persuaded more people to join us because there was so much space! Cathy and Tim were very responsive. I had a question at check in, and I got an immediate answer. Check out could not have been easier. The place was immaculate and well-stocked! I would highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again! It would be a great place to have a girls' weekend to just hang out.

Loved our stay here!! Rebecca was an amazing hostess — easy to connect with, responsive, friendly, kind — and we loved everything about our houseboat. It was clearly decorated by ladies with good taste, it was clean, comfortable, and between the candles, the white noise machines, and the diffusers in the bedroom to the coffee station and the well-equipped kitchen, they thought of everything! The whole houseboat experience was just epic, too! Absolutely would recommend staying here, no questions asked. My only regret is not staying longer!

I have a friend with EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome), POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), and partial seizures. The downstairs bathroom with the seated shower was absolutely perfect for her! She got to have--as she described it--the best shower of her life. It was a great place! I personally loved the kitchen and the living room. It was very nice to cook in that kitchen. It was neat, organized, and had plenty of room for preparing parts of the meal.

Traveled to Mahomet for a bridal shower and stayed here. It was a really nice, quiet place to crash for us! Everything was clean and looked just like the pictures. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

The place was super cool and unique. Perfect stop to cap off our road trip on our way home. The hosts are super kind. Lots of places in a walkable distance. We found the cutest little ice cream shop in walking distance. We would stay here again if the chance ever arises.

This was without a doubt one of the most luxurious and clean places we’ve stayed. It felt like ‘home away from home’.
