Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Davidson River

Very friendly host and staff, very laid back and easy to get along with, this is my first time airbnb’ng and I’m sure not all hosts are as friendly as Phillip!

Was a great place to spend the night... all of the rooms and furniture were great. Loved it...

My family was in town visiting relatives for the holidays. This home was comfortable, close to everyone we wanted to spend time with, yet gave us a nice place to make our own for the week. It was clean and neat, and we felt welcome ane comfortable even with young children and a baby. Having a highchair and toys provided at the home was very convenient. The only thing we found a little unusual was the lack of a coffee maker, but there were dishes and cookware for everything else. Great stay!

We booked with Ian last second due to our previous airbnb not being ready and the hot tub was broken… Ian was quick in action to have cleaners get to the house before we finished biltmore, the house was beautiful and very clean, we enjoyed the privacy his house had to offer! This property we stayed at was by far the best house and the cleanest of all properties I have ever stayed at! The property is VERY close to downtown Asheville!! 10/10 recommend booking with this host!!

This home is lovely and the host has been very thoughtful to ensure guest comfort, stocked kitchen, soap/shampoo plus many other items that were truly appreciated. Even better, the fire pit by the beautiful creek is magical. You can position yourself there to see the fire, forest, creek and mountains! Just fantastic. The downstairs bedrooms were perfect for my adult sons. We all enjoyed the pool table and jacuzzi as well. Plenty to do both inside and outside. Since we spent Christmas there it was very special to have a decorated Christmas tree and other decorations! We would love to come back. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Very clean and quiet home. Our stay was great we had beautiful views. Sadly we didnt spend alot of time in the home as we were visiting family. Great vacation home if you just want to relax and get away.

Home was clean and perfect for our trip. The neighborhood was peaceful but it is also in a great location and within minutes to everything we needed.

This is the most outstanding ABNB experience ever! And we’ve been fortunate to experience many around the globe. The attention to detail is astonishing while always feeling personal. The very definition of Hospitality. I look forward to getting to visit again and am sending friends every chance possible. You could show up with nothing and you would be taken care of before you realized you had forgotten your luggage. This is more than courteous stocking of kitchen essentials. Every sense is nurtured without being overwhelming. Rather, it is the intentional thoughtfulness that notices, how could I have this person feel seen and cared for if they sat here, stood there, walked here, wandered there. Comfort is an understatement. It is an experience of profound thoughtfulness. Dare I say, Love.

We were supposed to stay at Kelly’s place the weekend of Sept 27th but Hurricane Helene stopped our plans, so we never got to check in, however still feel like Kelly deserved a review. She was so beyond communicative even with a hurricane causing record destruction in Asheville. I cannot say enough about how gracious and informative she was about the situation. She was also amazing at helping us contact Airbnb the day of check in to make sure that we were not penalized even though they were dealing with yard flooding, power outages, and spotty service. I would 100% recommend her as a host and cannot wait to finally stay at her place when we can reschedule our trip for later in the year. Thank you Kelly!

We loved staying here! Cozy and comfortable, very clean, and well thought out. Mary Ann anticipated our needs and provided everything we could have needed. While we could only stay one short night, the amenities and view were SO worth the price. Would definitely stay here again.

This sweet place is lovely, peaceful, private but also social if you prefer, walkable, safe, and has everything you could need. I appreciated having a dedicated off-street parking spot during my stay. Everything is clean and fresh and well thought out. The bed was a dream and the linens were exquisite, must have been a very high thread count. This was the perfect base to explore Asheville from and thanks to Emilie’s recommendations, I had exceptional local experiences. I will definitely be back for another stay at the Chestnut Street Inn!

Exquisite furnishings, comfort and quality of linens and bedding. A wall of windows looking out to gorgeous forest and sunset views. Walking distance to Grovepark Inn providing exercise, shopping and dining accommodations within steps of the woodland basement apartment.The fireplace in winter and outdoor patio in summer are lovely. Bear sightings are assured! Owners are nearby if needed but non intrusive. Quiet location. Best Airbnb in all our travels and definitely best place in Asheville. Appreciated the full-sized refrigerator, dishwaher, microwave and toaster oven for light cooking.

What a lovely space! Beautifully designed. Friendly host. Comfy bed, amazing view, and sooooo quiet and peaceful. My nervous system felt totally reset after a couple days here. My kiddo loved the castle and the cats, dogs, chickens and horses. Wi-Fi was a bit spotty, but I had a hotspot with me for work. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

The home was nice, no complaints, would stay again. But the stars here are the hosts. I was here for Hurricane Helene. The storm damage was honestly minimal compared to what I would later see in some of the harder hit areas, but I was blocked in by a small mudslide for just a day or so. The hosts happened to be out on vacation, but even through the cellular disruptions, they managed to maintain constant contact and coordinated assistance from neighbors. They took care of me like family.

Highly recommend this place! We rented it for a bridal/bachelorette party weekend for five women, and it was marvelous! Early instructions about check in were informative. We lived in the hot tub. When there was an issue on Friday evening, we contacted the host who responded within the hour. Kitchen worked great for our personal French cooking lesson. We had a blast playing pool downstairs. And oh how the beds were comfortable, with great sheets to boot! Great views out the living room and kitchen to enjoy your morning coffee. What a great place!

Loved this place, the setting and of course, the hot tub! Perfect for couples.

Casey’s place was perfect to heal us after a traumatic time in life. We got to enjoy a great restaurant just a short drive down the hill, steam and dry sauna, indoor pool and spa. All for the price of staying here. It really was a blessing in the form of a truly last minute booking. It was a private and serene location— with the comfiest bed. Thank you so much.

We loved our stay. We loved contributing to the economy in the recovery efforts of your charming city. Home met all of our needs. Very well appointed and comfortable. Easy to find. Lot of great things to do today close by.

This place is a great stay for anyone looking for a place centrally located in the Cashiers/Sapphire area. Easy and scenic walk around lake Fairfield. Great Mountain View from back patio. Easy access to Sapphire National Golf Course. The place is very spacious with room to spread out for the whole family and it is equipped very well. Roland is responsive and checked in on us periodically to make sure everything was well. I highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful, peaceful paradise! Extremely helpful and very responsive to any question. Perfect for family gatherings at any time of the year. Lots of games to keep children and teens busy, and the sauna, spa and hot tub were awesome for the adults. Couldn’t have asked for a better home centrally located to all Asheville and the surrounding area has to offer. Veronica was a wonderful host. Home was well stocked, supermarket 5 minutes away to pick up groceries and plenty to do even during a winter vacation. I hope to be back soon when full access to the Blue Ridge parkway and the Appalachian trail is fully open. No better place to recover from a hike than this home with its amenities and views! You won’t be disappointed! Thanks Veronica for an amazing winter getaway!

Absolutely ten out of ten recommend this stay. As beautiful as the pictures are they don't even do it justice of how nice and beautiful this place is! Also Julie was a mazing host, she responded immediately every time we reached out with very helpful information. Very clear check in/check out instructions and directions to the stay. Cant recommend this place enough!

Very nice house with plenty of space for a large family gathering. It was a very kid friendly home! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The only item to note is that there is a separate entrance that requires you to exit the home to access (this is noted by them - we just didn't catch it). For folks with older children, this is not an issue but was more challenging with smaller kids and not ideal to go in and out during the cold months. I wouldn't let it steer you away, but it was not ideal for young kids. We had plumbing issues similar to other responses I have since gone back and read about in the reviews. Brandon was very responsive and got the issue resolved but it left us without water for the day. Luckily we didn't have much going on and we could get by without it, but this appears to be a reoccurring issue with this home.
