Had a couple of days away to destress after Christmas. We only live 10 minutes drive away but it felt like we were far,far away. Lovely property overlooking a lake. It was cold and foggy one of the days but we had lovely walks around the lakes. The host was great. Had contact and they were fast and helpful. Hoping to make this an annual event every January now. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful property.

What a home. We had the most amazing Christmas weekend as a family of 12 grandparents down to great grandchildren. Thank you so much x

Great safe location

Great house, bigger and better than pictures. We loved the location as easy to get into town driving or uber and lovely parks close by for walks and nearby shops for food etc. everything in the house was spot on with massive master bedroom with extremely comfy bed! Highly recommend this place and look forward to another visit.

It is in a lovely location, great views of the Malvern Hills, lots of good walks close by. Many good eating places not too far away. The Cow Shed is well equipped, with an excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable living area. The kitchen is a bit smaller than we would have liked, but it all worked really well. Nigel was very attentive, making sure we were comfortable. Our elderly spaniel enjoyed the space around and got on well with the two really friendly terrier residents! Will definitely revisit.

Anju and the fellow hosts are extremely responsive to all queries we had. The keypad entry is an excellent means of entry. We would have rated it 5 stars but it was a little temperamental and sometimes decided to choose random numbers rather than the numbers we had pressed when we were trying to get in, causing a bit of anxiety that we may get locked out. The only issue we had was the shed in the garden is accessed by the owners/hosts at any time. This was a little disconcerting when we were in the kitchen at night and suddenly a person appeared in the garden. We did lock the side gate but were asked not to do this. Unfortunately the garden was then not secure for our dog who decided she wanted an adventure and took herself to the road. Could the shed be relocated to the driveway? The driveway is a definite plus to the house it has plenty of parking space. Overall this should be a 5 star property and we would have rated it so had we not had concerns with garden security for our dog.

A wonderful stay at Sarah’s house! We had such a great time and the house was perfect for what we wanted. The grounds are stunning and the house has everything you need for a comfortable stay! Thanks again for a great weekend!

We had a wonderful group stay at Anthony’s beautiful home. It is a unique property, rich in history and stunning interiors. The large garden was lovely to relax in and we enjoyed several local walks. The house is warm, clean, spacious and very comfortable. Anthony was kind and responsive from the start and could not do enough to help. We would recommend this property highly.

Such a fabulous place to stay, the welcome package was a lovely touch and the place was lovely and clean. Had an amazing time would highly recommend staying!

Man’s communications were excellent and the stay was exactly what we were looking for. Given the location the price was extremely reasonable for the size of the property. Mak was even kind enough to gift desert which was delicious!

Oldbury Barn is in a lovely location in the countryside with great views (though tricky to find, so the 'what3words' helped a lot!). The house was nicely presented and lovely and clean. Plenty of pots, pans, mugs (!) utensils etc for a large family group. The open plan nature of the kitchen/diner/lounge is great for a multi generational family gathering like ours, as you are always all together in one huge room. However, note that its a tiled floor and there isn't much in the way of soft furnishings so noise echoes around a bit and can be heard from all bedrooms - but this is only a problem if you have very young kids going to bed early or getting up early! The 2 ground floor bedrooms are large and with lots of storage. The 2 upstairs bedrooms are small with very low ceilings and little storage - fine for kids but we were were 7 adults and one toddler, so that didnt work brilliantly for us . The "slight height restriction" in the description is quite an understatement!!

We were a group of 8 friends spending a long week-end to play golf in the Southport area. The house was fantastic, a lot of space for 8 people, great equipment, super clean. The location was absolutely perfect for us with fantastic golf courses (Hillside & Royal Birkdale within 15 minutes drive, Formby within walking distance...) nearby. There are shops and restaurant nearby. The communication, check-in & check-out and interaction with Debs were really easy. I can only highly recommand this house, superbe!

I have to come clean - I am an enthusiast of Penarth, the architecture of the town, the community feel, and everything about the place. Sarah's place, being among the oldest houses in the town, was a must for all the things I was looking for. Sarah herself is friendly and has clearly put a lot of herself into the house. My journey time to Penarth could have been subject to delays, being more than 500 miles... but we had good communication and met up without difficulty at the house. All in all, the house was cosy and well appointed. It also was a great base for strolling into Penarth Town centre and even, across the barrage, to Butetown and even Cardiff. I would thoroughly recommend Sara's house for your stay.

We stayed at the villa for 4 days to celebrate my aunt's 80th birthday and it was just as perfect as in the photos. They house is extremely clean and well-stocked with all the amenities you could possibly need. Alasdair was very proactive, providing clear instructions and recommendations that were very helpful. You could tell that the house is laid out in a very thoughtful manner to make it as convenient as possible for the guests. One of the best airbnb stays we've had that exceeded our expectations in every way!!

We stayed here for a weekend away as a group of school mates all turning 30. The property was the perfect base for us, providing us with the best possible experience. We’re an active, activity based bunch and this stay had something for everyone. Multiple activities, from the pool table, darts board, table tennis, air hockey, and yes the Pool and Sauna. Many of my friends couldn’t believe just what we had found for this stay. Private use of the pool is a great bonus. All beds were made, fresh linens and towels provided. We used the kitchen to cook our breakfast each morning. There’s ample parking for 3-4 vehicles inside and plenty on street right next to the property, which is a quiet street so not a stress. Whilst the decor is aged, we are not particular on this and found it added to the charm. Plenty of beds, bathrooms and spots to relax. We would stay again! The host was fantastic in communication and response to questions posed and made the whole process easy.

We didn’t actually stay in the house we booked due to a fault with the heating. But the communication from the hosts was excellent and they sorted us an alternative very quickly and we couldn’t fault anything. Had the perfect weekend for a family celebration.

A very comfortable clean spacious place to stay with full range of facilities and wonderful hot tub. A great scenic outlook over the lake and easy walking access to the spa close by.

We used to own a home at Lower Mill Estate and fancied a nostalgic return, off-peak in March (since Lower Mill gets very busy later in the year); we were right - the estate was very peaceful when we visited. We remember "Lakeshore Reserve" (this part of the estate) being built and "The Lookout" seemed to suit our needs perfectly (a few days on our own, then joined by a few friends later in the week), so we booked. If anything, The Lookout was even more impressive in the flesh than from the photos. Very clean, very well furnished, and lots of kitchen amenities etc. We had a great time and now plan to return to LME again in the autumn: We'll almost certainly try to book The Lookout again, which speaks volumes about our experience.

We had such a lovely stay. The house is better than the pictures and the pool is amazing our kids really enjoyed it!

The place was perfect for us - 2 adults and 7 teenagers. We all loved the pool and the beautiful garden. The kitchen had everything we needed. A big lounge with an even bigger TV was perfect for the evening and the beds were plenty and comfortable. The host was always available for questions and made us feel very welcome. Will be visiting again.
