We had an amazing holiday at this place. Great room, great location and surroundings. Bradley is a great host, helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place!

Our stay at Elfin Hill was relaxing and wonderful. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the birds singing and the rustling of the eucalyptus trees from the room. The view from the pavilion is truly picturesque. Edwina and her husband are wonderful hosts. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

We stayed here for 4 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our host! It is his home and we felt right at home there and pleased that he shared it with us. The area is beautiful and rural so it is not a “sterile” atmosphere. There are trees everywhere, his two dogs are precious and the wildlife is wonderful. The only thing you should be aware of is that the Ensuite is upstairs so if you have an issue navigating stairs this might be a difficult place for you. But we hope to return to Sydney one day and would not hesitate to rent from Harold again!

I had wonderful stay at Skye’s place. Her home is very peaceful and well thought out with the decor. The neighborhood is very safe even at night as a solo female traveler I had no worries. Lots of cute cafes nearby and plenty of public transportation. It was exactly the kind of local feel I was looking for while I was in Sydney.

She was incredibly kind, respected our privacy, and even prepared a lovely breakfast for us in the morning, which was such a thoughtful touch. Mikes place was perfect for a short stay. Very clean with everything we needed. Lovely peaceful location, coffee van in walking distance and Maitland Bay beach.

Lea was an excellent host, attentive, helpful and highly responsive with communication prior to and during our stay. She provided clear, accurate housekeeping instructions and we felt very comfortable in the retreat. We loved the quiet, leafy neighbourhood, on street parking, and surrounding park lands...great for walking. Lea had thought of everything, all the conveniences needed, a private space and generous breakfast provisions.

It’s a charming, art-filled home nestled in a cozy neighborhood, and from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and kindness by Darren & Ralph. The house itself was a masterpiece— every corner adorned with beautiful decos. The space was not just a place to sleep but an immersive experience, blending creativity with comfort. But what truly made our stay special were the hosts. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, sharing stories about the house renovation, was absolutely amazing. Such a great stay at Ian’s place. Wish we could have stayed longer. It had everything you need for a wonderful stay. The bed was comfy, bathroom very clean, kitchen had everything you need and we felt very at home. It’s styled wonderfully with use of the outdoor space adding an extra touch. About 10/15 mins walk to town, and just a stones throw from all the beach walks. Can’t recommend it any more. Thank you so much Ian we hope to be back :)

Me and my wife loved the stay. The place has a personality and every little details just adds to it. Beverly was very hospitable and friendly. Ruby(little dog) was so cute and we loved to play with her. I highly recommend this place to everyone and specially for couples. We are definitely going to stay here again whenever we are in Newcastle

The house was very clean and well-kept, with a beautiful backyard and a lovely swimming pool perfect for relaxing. The host was responsive and everything was just as described in the listing. The only minor downside was that one of the neighbors didn’t seem very friendly, but it didn’t impact our overall stay. Would recommend this place for a peaceful getaway!

Jenny and her husband were very kind to us. Her husband even drove us to the beach and she made us a delicious dinner because everything was closed that day. The communication was very easy. They have 2 dogs, one big and one small and one cat that turned out being very friendly. Everything was clean and the bed was big and comfortable. The room has a private bathroom and is spacious. The house is beautiful and surrounded by nature, but is better to stay there if you have a car because is far away from the bus station and the city. There is not much to do in that area except to drive to the beaches. The neighborhood is peaceful and has a tropical vibe to it. We wish them the best and thank them so much x

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was exactly as described in the listing—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was both nice and convenient, making it easy to get around and explore the area. One of the highlights was the adorable chicks. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again.

The two days I stayed at Rose's home on the Scottish island were the warmest, most peaceful and wonderful time I had this year. Rosemary superb cooking skills, appetizers, main courses, and desserts after dinner amazed me at the first dinner, and the breakfast was beyond my expectations. The interesting and loving people on the island will leave a deep impression on you. Although I am not good at English, Rose and Colin are always so patient and considerate to communicate with me happily. Oh, I have only been away for two days, and I have already missed her goat's milk cheesecake, salmon, and handmade ice cream. I will arrange to go back again as soon as possible, bringing a hat and a bottle of wine...

Beverley was a lovely warm host. She was very accommodating in my changing arrival and checking out times. It was lovely to be welcomed into her beautiful home and shown my lovely bedroom and clean bathroom. The bed so was comfortable and cosy! The little extras, apple cake, home made cookies to have with my afternoon tea when I arrived were delicious. Fruit bowl yum. Beverley was very helpful in suggesting I order an uber there and back from the concert I was attending. Thank goodness I did as it was very chaotic due to a football game held on the same night. Breakfast the next morning, home made granola, yoghurt and topped off with hot croissants, what a treat! Beverley was there to say goodbye but also had a lovely conversation regarding the house history which was very interesting. Yes and a bit of a personal chat, so caring. Cannot recommend highly enough.
