Holiday rentals with lake access in Darling Downs

The house and all of the facilities on offer were fantastic. Michael and Nicki were very friendly and always happy to answer any questions.

Perfect for our visit! Lovely river front location, private and welcoming. A great little house, with an amazing outdoor area, cold AC, and all the other bits n bobs you need. Tucked behind a lovely little coffee shop, 1 minute from the bakery, pub, restaurant, gift shops and cute butcher. IGA less than 5 minutes away. I would definitely recommend staying here if visiting Imbil.

Cate's place was marvellous. Spacious, sparkling clean and everything we needed for our short stay. Will stay again if we are back this way.

We had a great stay with family and friends at Amanda’s place. Situated right on the lake, the kids loved swimming and boating right off the door step. Felt completely private and the view of the lake was majestic. Amanda was helpful and provided all the information we needed. The star gazing at night was incredible. We will definitely be coming back for another stay.

We had an excellent time for our annual boys trip away. The kayaks at the river kept us busy exploring and fishing on the water. We brought extra golf balls and had a blast smacking them off the grass platform. The sleeping was cozy and the communal areas kept us out of the rain. The bbq was fine for all of our cooking needs. The composting toilet smelt pleasant and the hot showers were excellent. Matt was super helpful with any of our questions as well!

This was my first Airbnb experience and it was wonderful! - I needed a pet friendly place to stay and Bernadette's unit was so lovely. I am used to bland motel rooms, so it was a new experience for me to stay in a place that was designed to give a boutique home-like experience. I was really impressed. Berndette responded quickly to any problems I might have, and she made sure i had everything I needed. The only negative thing I could say is that Brisbane is too hilly - Berndette's driveway is steep (like most brisbane driveways ) and someone unsteady on their feet will need to be carefull. I fully recommend a stay in Bernatette's cozy private unit.

We wanted to stay in a quiet place to watch the stars, and this was exactly what we were looking for. A very kind host and a beautiful view made our stay even more special. It was our first visit to Moogerah, and we’re leaving with such beautiful memories. We’d love to come back again. Thank you❤️

I recently had the pleasure of staying Doolandella it was amazing and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality from Solange and a beautifully maintained space. The house was clean, stylish, and equipped with all the amenities one could ask for, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was fantastic, situated close to vibrant cafes, restaurants, and shops, which made exploring the area a breeze. I loved being able to walk to local attractions and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the neighborhood. The host was incredibly responsive and provided great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Overall, my experience was wonderful, and I would definitely return to this Airbnb on my next visit. If you're looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay, this is the spot!

Comfortable, clean and cosy. Great value. Access to kitchen facility and upgraded / useable outdoor areas (basketball court, pool) would have made it even better!

We had a great stay. The house was very wheelchair accessible, which was a big plus for our friend who joined us. Everything was clean and comfortable. Pippa was a warm and welcoming host, and very easy to contact when needed. The surroundings were beautiful, and we really appreciated the peaceful setting. Highly recommended!

We’ve stayed at many airbnbs but this one was THE very best one. Our luggage got lost and Jacinta was extremely helpful in helping us get it returned to us. The place is very homey and peaceful and we really hated to leave it I would have liked to of stayed a month there. Jacinta also left us beautiful and tasty breakfast food which we greatly appreciated it. I would highly highly everyone to stay there. Loved 🥰 it

Our stay at the French Country Cottage was wonderful!!! Booked for my family for my 50th birthday and it was a fantastic spot. Tranquil and relaxing, fun lawn games and beautiful vistas everywhere you looked- from the rolling green hills dotted with grazing cows to the reflective lake to the garden chess set and potager's garden: everything was perfect! My grandson loved feeding carrots to Sgt Pepper and collecting eggs from the chickens - we also had a trio of surprise geese for our visit which was noisy but fun! Our host Kathryn was kind, funny and generous with some local goodies and the entire setup was very Continental. We took a million photos and every single one of them was like a postcard! We laughed and relaxed and played and napped in the sunshine and huddled around the firepit for late-night chats - We have all had the most perfect time and have made the best memories in this beautiful place!

Loved our stay at Dave and Sallyanne’s! The property is beautiful and well situated to activities in the local area, or perfect to just stay in and enjoy the space. Dave and Sallyanne had many thoughtful touches throughout that made our stay very comfortable. It’s a great property to sit out (or in) by the fire, and the lack of light pollution means the night sky is super clear; we were even lucky enough to see two giant meteors whilst there! Overall a great spot, and we’ll definitely be back!

Our stay was superb! The amenities were brilliant, and it was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend away. Everything was so well provided, and it’s clear they have really thought of everything. The view, spa and sauna were definite highlights. The host was very easy to reach and incredibly communicative, making our experience even better. Highly recommend.

Beautiful spot, not far from the city but away from it all. Feels more remote than it is. Space for alot of people. So many activities or just lay about the pool.

It's the second time we've stayed here while visiting family. It's such a lovely, calm space, and Lizzy is a warm and friendly host.

We highly recommend staying at Amanda and Craig’s beautiful Samford Lakes cottage. We had the best weekend getaway! We got to bring our little bulldog along which made it even more special. There is so much to do aswell. We spent the day playing tennis, swimming in the massive pool, rowing the boat along the lake and even having pizza out of their poolside pizza oven. We loved chatting with Amanda and Craig and hearing Craig’s stories with a glass of wine and a freshly cooked pizza. The room was absolutely stunning too. It was very spacious and looked over the lake and the lillypads. You can even see the cows across the water. We absolutely loved using the massive bath, waking up an having a coffee on the huge veranda overlooking the water, playing board games by the fireplace and running around the property with our fur baby. John was also incredible and gave great recommendations and helped us set up some activities. Couldn’t recommend it high enough. Can’t wait to return.

Very clean and well stocked self-maintained cottage. Totally beyond our expectations. Thanks Jacqui for the generous supply, we had a really nice brekky, particularly loved the butter, so smooth and tasty. At night you can see stars even the Milky Way, which is why we love farm stay. Great air condition to keep the cottage always comfy. The smart TV which allows guests to watch Netflix and YouTube is also much appreciated! Oh and the BBQ grill is so handy to cook meals with. Overall we’re grateful to have stayed at Jacqui l’s cottage.
