We received a warm welcome when we arrived. The house was in great condition and everything was clean and tidy. We wanted to borrow a boat and Staffan solved it right away. Calm and peaceful surroundings and perfect to bring the dog. We will definitely go back. Thank you for letting us borrow your lovely house, Staffan! +++++

Rented the place for one night. Beatrice was easy to reach and very welcoming. Offered both earlier check in and later check out. The accommodation was clean and nicely arranged for our arrival. We were incredibly satisfied.

We had a beautiful 2 night stay in this home! The view was magical and the spa was perfect for the snowy conditions. The house was a perfect size for two people and had everything you would need. Check in easy and hosts very informative. Would highly recommend!

The house is located in the Uppsala / Stockholm area (40 min by train) yet completely rural. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired, and from the hot tub you can look into the Swedish countryside.

The location is perfect—conveniently close to the bus, ferry, and with its own parking space, yet wonderfully peaceful. The house exceeded our expectations with its spaciousness and charm. It had plenty of room for everyone and came fully equipped with all the amenities we needed. It truly felt like a home with a soul, making our stay special. Mary-Rose, the host, was incredibly kind and attentive, answering all our questions promptly and ensuring we felt well-prepared for our stay. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient retreat in Vaxholm!

We had a lovely two week stay at Johan’s charming house. We loved waking up to the views of the lake and trees, and starting our days with the most beautiful walks around the lake. It is a wonderful place to retreat, peaceful and surrounded by nature, but only a 25 minute drive to Stockholm. Johan was very helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again!

Hallo, the house and especially the kitchen is very well equipped. There is more than enough space for 3 people. The terrace is huge, the house is in good condition and you feel right at home. The area is very quiet, yet you can reach Stallarholmen in a few minutes and have shopping opportunities there. The host is easily accessible, responds quickly to messages. The lake is around the corner and offers a fantastic view. Unfortunately, the engine from the boat was broken and usually didn't jump on. The boat itself is well suited for excursions and fishing. The bottom line is that we can recommend the place and had a great vacation. Regards, MW

We had an excellent time at Mikael's hut. The hosts live just next door and were very friendly and supportive. They even made a hole in the ice for us for icebathing after the sauna.
