Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Cumberland

It was a great place for a large group and the hot tub was key! The driveway to get up to the house was long and there is a steep hill at the end so you should be prepared with AWD if you're going in the snow. Also the largest primary bedroom with the wood stove has a door that connects to another room and that would have been good to know since we were traveling with couples. The primary bedroom does have its own staircase to use the first floor bathroom, but the shower is in the adjoining room so it could be a bit awkward if it's two separate families. Overall, it was a great place to stay in Bridgton - one of our favorite towns with lots of cute restaurants (Beth's!) and fun things to do.

Beautiful restored farm house with enough room for 4 adults and 3 kids for a family getaway! We were able to cook dinners with a very well equipped kitchen and enjoy the fire pit in the backyard with incredible sunsets. Our kids loved the hike to the river on the property and our family really enjoyed spending a day at the Coastal botanical gardens which was only a few minutes drive away from the house!

My husband and I lived in the place for 43 days. It was PERFECT! The house is better than in the photos. A lot of space. Laundry in the house. Kitchen with everything!! Super comfortable beds. Really good shower. Check in super clear. Michelle and her boyfriend were super nice to us. They helped with snow cleaning, they decorated the place for Christmas and it was so cute!! In new year`s eve we asked if we could bring some guests and they said yes. They are really good hosts and I definitely recommend this place! The location is really good - close to many restaurants and main roads. It was PERFECT for us!

We encountered a minor issue upon checkin and the ONLY reason I mention it in this review is so that I can highlight how responsive and prompt Lea was to help us resolve it and ensure our stay at her home was a positive experience (and it absolutely was by every measure). The home is clean and gorgeous inside and out. More than enough space for multiple families. Everything was exactly as described in listing. We had an amazing weekend and could certainly see ourselves visiting again in the future. I couldn’t recommend this home or the hosts any more highly.

We had a great stay in Tara's home. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and is close to our favorite towns- Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. We had plenty of room for the four of us. We loved the outside spaces and the open floor plan. Tara was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. The instructions for check in and check out were very clear. We hope to return in the future!

Actually rented both units A & B of this property for my wife's birthday to have some room for additional family (surprise). Unit A was awesome! 2 beds and a bath, BIG kitchen that had everything you would need, dog friendly with a fenced in yard which is always a plus, super comfortable living room/dining room combo that had plenty of room for everyone to gather, private courtyard (shared with unit B) with room for outdoor dining and a grill PLUS hot tub! I could go on but to summarize, it was perfect for our plans. The addition of unit B gave us the whole place and I couldn't be more pleased! Centrally located. Anywhere we wanted to explore, from Kennebunkport to Ogunquit and beyond, was never more than 20 - 30 minutes away. Even the neighbors were amazing (friendly)! 100% I would (and plan to) stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at Arian’s place. It was the perfect, peaceful getaway for our special weekend. We felt right at home!

We had an awesome weekend stay at Monique’s cottage. The house was clean and equipped with all amenities listed. The yard space is huge for backyard games. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas at Nate's place. It has an authentic and lived-in feeling (unlike some places with that sterile Ikea-Airbnb-kit feeling). It feels like a real home with warmth and character. The beds are comfortable, and there's an excellent couch for watching TV, reading, or lounging. The kitchen has everything you need. It's in a more residential part of Portland, but it's close to everything great in Portland. The location was excellent for us because we had a family member in nearby Mercy Hospital, just five minutes away. Nate's place provided a comfortable place to decompress. Nate was very responsive and just excellent. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Enjoy!

Valle and David were the perfect hosts and we had an amazing stay. We also got to use the hot tub which was such a treat in the cold weather. Dave and Valle went above and beyond - from leaving little chocolates treats for us to enjoy upon check-in, to very thoughtfully offering to extend our stay for a few hours until the roads cleared out from a the overnight snow storm. Thank you Valle and Dave!

We loved our stay at Prime Rock Sq! The perfect, affordable spot for a weekend getaway for a couple. Of note was the king size bed, which was SO comfortable! The apartment was spotless upon arrival, and also very quiet even though we were close to downtown. We came back one evening and a fire had been made in the fire pit outside which was a fun way to wind down the evening. It was just a delightful little spot and we will definitely be back! The hosts were great and communication was excellent. Thank you both for having us!

Delightful place to stay in Portlands West end. It is easy walking distance to everywhere…. downtown and even the East side. Great restaurants in the neighborhood from breakfast to dinner. The apartment was immaculate and was stocked with just about everything you’d need. The shared yard was charming and felt very private. We have family in the area and I hope we can stay there again and again. It was much more comfortable than a B & B. Lorie was very responsive to anything you might need.

Place was as described and the host was very friendly and quick to respond. Downtown was a quick Uber ride there and back and host left us great recommendations to try out. My only negative was the bed does sit very low to the floor. I had a little trouble getting up because I’ve recently had spinal surgery and I have RA, but my husband was fine with it. Just in case an elderly person or someone with RA is thinking about it. I do highly recommend it other than that.

Great apartment in a very walkable part of Portland, a perfect location for exploring the city. It was clean & spacious with a very comfortable bed and we appreciated the off-street parking. The owner Jeff and his wife are very friendly and served us a fantastic meal at their small brewpub downstairs. I normally wouldn’t choose a rental above a pub, but theirs closes at 9pm every night, so noise wasn’t an issue at all. Would highly recommended this unit for a stay in Portland.

I had an amazing stay! Rachael was a very responsive host, and was very helpful throughout my stay. The location was quiet but within driving distance of all the things I wanted to do, and it matched all my expectations based on the listing. If I’m ever back in the area, I would certainly love to stay here again!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. We booked over Christmas. Jacki reached out to me just after I booked to see if my family celebrated Christmas and if so, would we like some decorations put up. I replied yes. When we arrived there was a decorated tree and some other decorations throughout. It was really nice. It is wonderful that they are dog friendly, they even have dog dishes there. Our Great Dane was with us. My whole family agreed that if the opportunity presents itself, we would definitely go back.

This was our second stay and it was just as lovely as the first! We can't wait to go back again. Thank you so much!

Perfect spot to get away and have some "me" time. Sat in front of the fireplace, read my book and got some work done. upstairs bed was extremely comfortable and happy to have a window to let some cool air in. site feels very remote but extremely close to shopping and other amamenities.

This is the most peaceful and welcoming place ever. We loved absolutely everything! Beautiful forest, snowy days, birdwatching, alphabet of animal tracks for beginners in nature loving. Oh, and the best sauna experience on this continent, just believe me. Many thanks to Emily and Janine for these days full of happiness.

Perfect winter getaway, quaint town with friendly locals and easy day trips to Portland and North Conway. Cabin was clean and cozy — perfect Maine vibe. Would recommend

Marie & Tim were excellent hosts. So friendly, detailed, accommodating, and their recommendations were excellent. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to make sure you have everything you need, and more. The cabin is a beautiful, rustic cabin with all the feelings of home. The furnishings and décor made it so perfect. On approach to the property, the lighting and appearance is so beautiful. It was like driving into wonderland. I hated having to go home! I wanted to stay forever! I cannot wait to go back! Thank you Marie & Tim!

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend. We loved the fire place, whirlpool with lights and watching the stars and of course the surroundings. We went for a walk on the lake! Can only recommend that place.
