Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Cruz Bay

Our stay at Nanyamka’s place was really nice. She was kind, proactive about things like power outages, and helpful. The unit is new with lots of indoor space. Other reviewers mentioned that the interior is dark—it is true that there is not a lot of natural light (all windows do look out onto a rock wall or storage space), but we weren’t there during the day, so it was fine for us. There are amazing beaches not that far away so we spent our daylight hours there! The exterior has a separate and shared porch with amazing views. There were a few amenities we needed to purchase like dish soap, toilet paper, cooking oil, and Cascade, but we used them during our week-long stay, so it was worth it. Like other guests, I cannot recommend strongly enough renting a car—we got a Jeep and are so glad we did. It is a bit remote. We are not used to such steep roads, sharp curves, and avoiding huge potholes, so the Jeep made our whole stay on this island so much easier and safer-feeling.

We are long time St. John visitors but have never stayed at Grande Bay. It was extremely convenient! This stay was bridging a gap until our villa was ready so having the ability to do some laundry and easily walk to dinner and breakfast was a major bonus. Condo was super clean and had all the things we hoped for and more. I’d highly recommend this unit especially if you are looking for a gorgeous view!

Really enjoyed my time at this delightful vacation rental. The East End of St Thomas is nice and peaceful well away from the cruise ship docks and the ferry dock is very close and convenient. Excellent grocery store across the street from the ferry docks with other nice shopping located there as well. The views from balcony are gorgeous and the condo was a clean, quiet, calm and cozy oasis. The restaurant located within the condo complex-Sudi’s- was outstanding and had one of the better burgers I’ve ever had in the Caribbean. They serve breakfast/lunch/dinner while also having a good bar scene going on with great bartenders. Sapphire Beach is right next door with plenty of great walking available around the condo community and they have a marina that has multiple fairly priced boat charter options I chose the sailboat Cosmos and had a great 1/2 day sail with very nice fellow passengers. A truly delightful rental experience in a beautiful and serene location. Thank you!

The place was lovely and spacious - perfect for our Christmas getaway with our adult kids. The hosts had even put up Christmas decorations! The apartment has a great view from the balcony and is in a quiet neighborhood. Guests staying there should definitely have a car.

Julles’s place on St. Thomas is one of the most special Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at. The view from the rooms, your window, the balcony is world class. Julles is a fantastic, fantastic host — she goes above and beyond with communication, attention to detail, with helping ensure you have everything you need. You could spend all day at the property and be satisfied, it is a beautiful space to live and relax. You’ve also got a great location for easy access to all the best parts of the Virgin Islands — the best beaches on St. Thomas are all right nearby, more importantly, you’re a 10 minute drive from the ferry to St. John, which is super easy to take either as a passenger or with your car. I can’t recommend this place enough. I hope I’ll be back.

This was our second stay at Rockroom and it will not be our last. The location is prime, the unit is huge, perfect for the 2 of us, and the kitchen is very well stocked. We go during off-season, so even though the clubhouse isn’t ‘open’, we could still use the exercise room that had all new equipment and great A/C. When we had a problem with the one of the two A/C units in our condo (on the weekend, of course) David was quick to respond and had it fixed ASAP. We stayed nice and cool for our entire stay. Two bathrooms are a plus, and the bed is very comfy. Thanks, David, for another great stay!

This condo was perfect for our vacation! Everything from the view, to the proximity of the beach, to the restaurants (2) within walking distance, to the communication from Sherri and everything she provided, made for an amazing trip. This condo's location can't be beat. The condo also had everything we needed to be comfortable/provided for throughout our stay. Sherri's quick responses, helpful suggestions/recommendations and her accommodations were all fantastic. Would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a ST. Thomas beach vacation! We hope to be back someday.

This condo was delightful-just as advertised. It was clean, bright, comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen was well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed the large patio with views of the bay. The condo community was quiet and well maintained. Overall very enjoyable stay!

Jennifer, our stay in your condo at the Ritz Carlton in St Thomas was Amazing and OUTSTANDING!! What ever we needed we received, from transportation, suggestions, washing powder and etc. All we had to do was make a call, then blink our eyes and it appeared. The workers are ALL Outstanding and greeted with a smile. We were all free to lounge at the beach, only steps away from the unit. That was my Me time every morning. We all felt free to roam around, swim, eat and just enjoy life. The unit was always clean because we had service twice a day, what feels better than a nice clean bed to fall asleep in after a long fun day outside. Lastly we enjoyed the 3:30pm cookies and the 8:30 pm night cap. WoW my family had one life time experience. Thank you Jennifer

GREAT condo! Spacious bedrooms with three good sized bathrooms. Good sized living room with bonus seating area in the upstairs area. The balcony was lovely to sit out on in the mornings and after a long day of adventuring. Her kitchen has all the supplies for cooking and the condo is close to a smallish grocery story (Mo's) which had prepared food too. You can look up the condos on google maps, so it was easy to get to. Her instructions for entering were easy and clear. The location was close to Meghan's Bay, Lindquist Bay, and Even Sapphire Village Resort if you want a nice beach and bumming vibe. You can easily drive to Red Hook little district with the grocery, a couple of shops, the ferry, and restaurants. The pool was lovely! The beach wasn't somewhere you'd want to swim. If you want to sit on the sand and enjoy the view, great! We'd highly recommend this space and if we come back will use it again!

Great place our 6th stay in STT as we have family here. Definitely th easiest check out we've had just turn off stuff and leave. Awesome communication always lande sure we were good. Would definitely stay here again..

Shamalie Rentals is pure perfection. The views stunning, the upscale accommodations are spotless and comfortable, and the host couldn’t be more lovely or helpful. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to make my stay effortless and relaxing. Best of all, the most gorgeous beaches are just moments away—perfect for sunsets, swimming, or a peaceful stroll. Five stars all the way!

lovely little villa, so peaceful, very private, even the outdoor shower is very cool. This is a great area to stay, close proximity to Spanish town, or an easy 15-20 minutes to the north sound area. We enjoyed hanging at the beach right at the villa (steps to get down). the pool was small, but clean, the patio overlooked beautiful Nail Bay. We enjoyed leaving the patio open to hear the waves all night, very safe island as well! The host was very helpful, we were able to get groceries delivered right to our villa before we arrived, very helpful if you arrive in the dark. Virgin Gorda is a natural, lovely island!

Excellent experience! They stayed in touch on the day of travel. Helped us with arranging transportation. We were met at the villa upon arrival and showed around the property. The house is spotless and beautiful! THE VIEWS!!! The house had everything we needed. There is a shared pool but even more helpful was the chef in the pool house! Having access to food and drinks made the stay even more enjoyable. This property is not walkable to anything but it's worth it!!

We are an incredible stay at the Hills. The property was exactly as described, beautifully appointed, exceptionally clean with every amenity. The views were amazing. The staff was very helpful in arranging for grocery delivery... We will definitely return.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Been to St. John several times and these accommodations were the best yet - will stay again! Amazing view of Cruz Bay, too. Marble floors, custom kitchen with plenty of utensils and whatnot for cooking, even a grill. The continental breakfast in the morning was a lifesaver and Cathy, the server was personal and very cheery. Maintenance had a malfunctioning AC unit fixed in just a few hours. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone looking for a luxury stay in St. John. We’ll be back next December!

Beautiful property. Loved the view! We spent 4 days on the property. Getting there: it’s hard because of the roads going up the hill. Lots of zigs zags, can get slippery when it rains. The price you pay to get the view. Property: very spacious home with four private bedrooms. The main living room is separate from all the rooms. Two rooms are one side of the property. Two on the other. Lots of decks to relax, play and cook. We never used pool but wish it had lights to use at night. The play area had games and ping pong table but they were moldy and looked outdated. As the description states, use LOTS of bug spray. They’re biting you and you won’t even know it. Overall, great property . Responsiveness: this is where the host was superb. We needed a car rental and he was able to get in touch with rental agency and have someone wait for us. He was able to help us order food because we didn’t have cell service. Very attentive and would reply fast. Great quiet stay that our fam enjoyed
