Our Happy Place - Peaceful retreat close to it all

A gorgeous, peaceful holiday retreat only a very short walk to the lake, beach, restaurants and shops. Beautifully appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are three bedrooms, two have a Queen size bed and the third has two sets of bunks. A separate lounge room has a cosy fireplace and large screen TV. The dining room, with adjoining sitting area, looks out to the wonderful large covered deck, yard, games 'shed' and bbq. There are two lovely bathrooms, one with a bath.

We really enjoyed our stay at Pieta’s property. Very good location for walking to the beach and short distance driving to the shopping centre and restaurants. The house is very spacious with big kitchen and plenty of cooking wares. The balcony has a great view as well. We will come back to stay her place next time.

If you’ve got pets and/or children it is a great option. The space feels very homely and liveable. It doesn’t feel like you’re on egg shells worried if the kids were to make a mess as all floors as floating floor. Close to cafè’s, little shops and entrance to diamond beach, We really liked it and found it a perfect stay for the week.

This was our first time using Air B&B. Could not have wished for a better start. Everything in Forster is within a 5-10 minute walk and mostly flat, except for Pilot Hill Lookout and Pebbly Beach. The unit was great with Lounge and Kitchen with a separate bedroom and bathroom. Laundry and pool also good. Jodi was great with her communication, responses and instructions.

It was great stay at Lynelle's place at Tuncurry. Clean, spacious, homely place nicely tucked in a nice surrounding in minutes walk to all the lovely things that Tuncurry has to offer. Lynelle was a great host to communicate with and she was accoomodating to reasonable requests from us. All in all, could highly recommend this place to any group who wish to visit the beautiful Tuncurry.

Narelle’s place is situated perfectly 2 mins walk from beautiful Little Beach and other attractions/activities in this area of Port Stephens. The apartment was beautiful and spotless with a fully stocked kitchen with everything you may possibly need as well as games and rackets for the tennis court. Parking was available on site. Additionally Narelle was quick to respond to any queries I had. I would definitely recommend Narelle’s place. I wish I could’ve stayed longer.

Jullian's place is in a perfect location - 2 munities walking distance to Tomaree Coastal Walkway, nearest beach and fishing spot, where we all had so much fun. The place with amazing view fit perfectly our group (4 adults and 4 kids), and is clean, tidy and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at Tea Gardens at this BnB. The house was full of character and charm with lovely little details around. Made us feel right at home. Beautiful wrap around veranda with a hammock and various seating options on the back deck to sit back and relax. lovely updated kitchens and cosy living room. The house had everything you could need for a short or long stay. Aircon in the living and two bedrooms (bunk bed room without but didn’t notice) It was only a short walk to local cafes and restaurants and pubs as well as around the corner to the river front which was beautiful. Quick Drive or an easy 3km walk to hawks nest beach. Major plus was that its pet friendly which was such a treat. Linen was an optional extra as advertised. Will definitely be back.

What an amazing home and location. If I could give more than 5 stars for every aspect I would. The home was definitely a home away from home where everything you could imagine was stocked and provided in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas. Siting on the deck and watching the beautiful Wallis Lake view was so relaxing. The Recky Club directly across the road made dinner and drinks most nights so easy and not to mention, so cheap. I couldn't even make a meal for $12 per person - AMAZING! Julie was super responsive, accommodating and gave us some great tips and ideas for local sights, restaurants and things to do. I can not recommend this stay highly enough and would definitely love to return one day. Lisa & David

The location was great and David was so accommodating to our needs. The house is on a double storey so it can cater for most family groups with the noisier teens to be downstair. For a wider selection of restaurants, bars, and grocery stores you’ll need to head into Harrington.

The park has a long history as the original home of the Birpai people, and there are Aboriginal sites preserved today where you can step back in time to over 6,000 years ago.

Crowdy Bay Lighthouse

The town’s most iconic feature is its blue and white lighthouse. The structure dates back to 1878 and is still active today. Pay a visit and you’ll be rewarded with panoramic sea views and, in the winter months, an ideal spot to watch the whales go by during their migration season.

Fishing in the harbour

Crowdy Head harbour is a hotspot for anglers, known for its excellent hauls of kingfish, snapper, cod, and tuna — though you should acquaint yourself with the local guidelines as some fish are prohibited out of season.
