Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Crocodile River

My wife and I had the best experience, we woke up to different animals roaming around the house and also went to sleep with them around. The place is gorgeous and aesthetic, the host is superb they checked on us several times. The view is gorgeous and activities to do around the gated community are awesome. Tranquility at its best.

Very spacious and clean property. Private and well furnished and stocked with all necessities. The beds and pillows are comfortable and the propery was cleaned to a good standard. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back in the near future.

My stay was amazing and peaceful. I highly recommend Sancho’s place. We really had fun and loved being surrounded by animals. Seeing the Big five on the way to the bush chalet was amazing. We will definitely come back. Thanks for having us Sancho.

The place is in the middle of nature. Very calm to work, you will only be disturbed by animals walking by. Warthogs, kudus, zebras, mongooses and even giraffes. The place is spacious and charming, kitchen well equipped, bed with a very good mattress. Rental worth every dollar you’ll spend.

We really loved our stay. The house is clean & spacious, great amenities and fresh linen & awesome coffee machine. Sindy that comes in daily was a bonus. The games room was good entertainment for the kids! Very convenient to have a well equipped upstairs braai room, especially on the rainy days. I will surely recommend this house!

We had a great stay, the location was excellent. The house was as per the pictures. The only thing that could be clarified is that only 2 bedrooms have aircons, the other rooms only have fans, there was also an extra fan. but when the temperature is in the 40's aircon in all the rooms would be best.

The location of Foxy Crocodile Retreat is superb!!To stay so close to the Crocodile river is special. The unit exceeded all our expectations… the porch next to the bedroom overlooking the bush is something special. There is special attention to detail in the units. Although it rained the entire weekend we still had everything we needed to make our experience enjoyable and relaxing. The safari arranged resulted in a very special moment…Thank you Gail and Mark!! We will definitely be back!!

Beautiful cottage with lots of space. Friendly and helpful host. Highly recommended.

Lovely spacious house, well equipped, very clean. Aircons in 3 of the 4 rooms and in the lounge. Ensuit showers and baths in 2 bedrooms and 1 for the 2 rooms. Lovely large verandah with a selection of braais and seating options. 2 pools and a childrens play area. The garden inside the quandrangle is lovely.The pool table and darts were great to the tweens. The inverter really helped when we had an unscheduled area power outage. Convenient parking for cars and trailer. The 2 smaller cottages on site did not impact on the main house which we rented, it was stiĺl private and quiet. There is enough cutlery and crockery and 2 fridges for ease of storage. Great gass top stove plus an eye level oven and 2 induction plates and a microwave. Marina our host was very quick with reponses when we needed her. She sent messages when there were good sightings like lion and wild dogs. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone travelling to Marloth Park.

What a phenomenal place in Kruger. It was our first time to the area, and this 3-bedroom place was amazing. It was bigger and more beautiful than the already stunning photos — well stocked and comfortable beds. Plus the natural beauty and local wildlife cannot be beat. We spent evenings by the campfire and enjoyed barbecuing, too. We saw and heard a ton of nature’s best, and it was an easy drive to the main entrance of Kruger as well as a very short walk to the Crocodile River lookout. Mondray went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. We especially loved his dinner recommendation. There are many options on Kruger, and I would highly recommend this Marloth Park gem.

The set up is so gorgeous and the space is very conductive to good quality. My kids really enjoyed the playground . Megan was an amazing host. Already planning to go back soon 🙈

We had a wonderful time at Marloth Park at the property. The property is very modern and clean, both bedrooms are equally equipped. In the middle is the kitchen and living room, to the left and right of each the bedrooms with their own (spacious!) Bathroom. Especially great was the outdoor area, with a big terrace, dining table and possibility to grill. The animals all came super close to the terrace, zebras, giraffes, wild boars, impalas, wildebeest, ... It was really stunning!

I'm delighted to write this review, hoping it will assist someone in deciding whether to book this property. The only downside was not having enough time to fully enjoy it. I definitely plan to return for a longer stay. The location is in a beautiful area with stunning views and plenty of privacy. I was lucky to see several animals, like rhinos, elephants, and hippos, right from the property without needing to book a game drive. The host was incredibly helpful and quick to respond providing excellent communication. I highly recommend this place. The property itself is amazing, with architecture that is both simple and beautiful—truly mind-blowing.
