Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Cowlitz River

This charming home in a residential neighborhood is a gem. From the quirky decor to the well-stocked kitchen, it offers personality and comfort. The beds and linens are high-quality and it was perfect for two of us to have our own spaces - though with only one bath, it might be a bit less accommodating for 4. Matthew was helpful and responsive and has made this space welcoming ("sure, use the turntable and records"). We will absolutely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

this is our second year having Thanksgiving at this air bnb. Both years has been great and they are extremely responsive. The beds are comfortable, we cook a whole Thanksgiving dinner there without issues. The house is clean, quiet and comfortable, with the 2 living rooms it is plenty of space. we set up the video games upstairs for the kids and they could stream movies from our lap to onto the projector screen. We did crafts at the dining room table and had fun in the backyard. highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay in your home. It was quite cozy/charming as well as being well situated for exploring Portland/Vancouver. Our teen boys liked having the ping pong table downstairs to play on while we enjoyed them being safely out of our hair for a bit. The house offered plenty of space for all four of us to spread out. The neighborhood was peaceful. Had excellent Mexican cuisine at Fiesta Bonita. Would definitely recommend staying here. For anyone arriving before February 17, 2025, do yourselves a favor and check out the Christopher Marley exhibit at OMSI. Our host deserves a special shout out. We managed to lock ourselves out late afternoon on New Years and Ramona had us inside and out of the cold in good time.

Perfect place for my wife and I to escape the city and recharge our batteries. We will return soon! DD

I've stayed here twice now and each time it has been lovely. It's a perfect place to relax, cook, sit on the deck and enjoy the river go by, or read a book by the fire.

This place is an absolute gem! The host, Uladzimir, is so responsive. this home is pristine clean and beautifully updated. It is in a great location. We can't believe what a great deal we got on this home. We felt right at home and everything that we needed was provided. We loved the updated kitchen, the hot tub, the walk-in closet in the master bedroom is amazing and the master bathroom is incredible. We hope to be able to stay here next year when we come to visit. It's an absolute amazing place to stay!

The home and host were great! We loved how cozy, modern and clean it was. The host was quick to respond and proactive in helping us with anything we needed. Generally had everything that we needed; things like Ziploc bags, saran wrap, and several sheet plans were not available so good to keep in mind when planning meals and how to store leftovers. Hot tub and fireplace were great. The area around was not as great. It is a run down neighborhood but we generally felt pretty safe. Everything is in walking distance so that was nice to walk to coffee and food. Be prepared that there aren't any activities to do in the area or spots to play any sports but there are plenty of places to walk. If you are looking for a good home to just stay and hang out at then this is a great home. If you like a little bit of adventure or sports with your stay this may not be the best city to look into. Overall our experience with the home was really great!

Was very convenient. Host was very responsive and friendly. The house itself was clean and had enough space. Ample parking and really appreciated the fully stocked kitchen appliances and all the games that were available. Would recommend booking here and I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again!

Ed and Kym's space was exactly what we were looking for, and exactly as advertised. We didn't spend much time at the apartment, but it was well-stocked and had everything we could think of needing. The space was immaculate and would be great for a family or multiple people. It was easy to walk places and the neighborhood was safe and quiet. We would happily return in the future!

Cindy and Rob have a beautiful spot on the river! If you’re looking for a nice, unique, quiet, secluded getaway this is the perfect place. The dwelling was right on the river whether you want to fish or just enjoy the breathtaking view and sounds of nature. They had pretty much everything you would need along with a bbq and fire pit. Heads up, it is pretty isolated but there is a corner store about 2-3 minutes down the road and they had a nice selection of grocery items but I definitely recommend doing your grocery shopping beforehand since the closest grocery store was about 20 minutes away. I definitely will be returning in the future, thank you Cindy and Rob!😊

We stayed at Christine & Martin’s place for a 3rd time-this year a 2nd time on returning from the coast. Their place felt like home & they were engaging & super friendly. They were great hosts & very accommodating. Their studio apartment was clean, comfortable, & very spacious. It was easy to cook there as they had everything you would need. We would definitely return when we’re back in the area!

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day stay at Jim’s cozy retreat. Overlook is a peaceful, tree-lined neighborhood of well maintained homes within a short walking distance to all of the action on Mississippi Ave as well as the TriMet station, making it easy to explore all that Portland has to offer. The apartment was clean and easy to access. We felt very safe there. The bed has a comfortable mattress, the bathroom with shower has high quality towels and plenty of hot water, and the unit is comfortably climate controlled. Jim is a wonderful host, personable, communicative and responsive. If you are lucky like we were, you might even get to meet his adorable, friendly kitties on more than one occasion. I highly recommend Jim’s Airbnb property.

Great apartment in an optimal Portland location. It is easy to park, and easy to drive to multiple neighborhoods/destinations from the apartment. The apartment is located in a beautiful walking neighborhood which was ideal for our dog. Very comfortable and clean place!

I absolutely loved this Airbnb! It felt just like a home away from home, cozy, stylish, and packed with little details that made our stay extra special. The privacy was perfect, and every amenity was exactly what you’d need for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

This place is so like home. so I very comfortable, everything 1 would need. quiet , relaxing and met a host on way out to car and very caring and you can tell they take very good care of there guests. would def stay here again.

The Eco House was great. The place looked exactly as it did in the photos and acted as a perfect jumping off point for a weekend in Portland. Parking was easy and Scott’s directions were clear. He was also always responsive and best of all he didn’t have a laundry list of tasks that had to be done at check out. I will happily stay here again.

My partner and I and our dog Kai absolutely loved our stay in this little cabin. The perfect escape from the city for a few days. Very charming cabin with everything we needed. We would absolutely book again!

Erika and Tye were very helpful and responsive and kind! The place was absolutely beautiful. Nice touches and cozy. Only suggestion would be curtains on the bedroom door and bathroom! Other than that, excellent. Thanks! Definitely will be back.

We had a great stay with our dog. The grounds are expansive with nice walking trails and a beautiful view of the gorge. There are only a few cabins so it feels very private, not crowded. Inside the cabin, it was tastefully decorated, warm and cozy, plenty of outlets and the hot water was very hot. Everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again. Note that there is a queen bed on the main floor and two twin beds in the loft, I'm really not sure why the listing shows three twin beds, it's just not right. Also, the shower is pretty small, so would not be a good option for someone with mobility challenges.

Absolutely perfect basecamp for Mt Rainier.

I couldn't find the waterfall but I went during snow so no fault of theirs. everything was perfect lots of animals in the area

This is our family’s first time renting an airbnb and we didn’t know what to expect. But the clear instructions of how to check-in and check out made it so easy and stress free. Amy & Janet are very responsive to any questions you may have. In addition, they have a binder of suggested restaurants and stores in the area including hiking trails. This shows me that they are dedicated in making their guests enjoy their stay. The place is so homey and welcoming. Our boys loved the loft beds and all the games available for them to play with. The place is as beautiful as the picture and was well described. It was the perfect get away for our family; peaceful and relaxing. The only disappointing part of our stay is that on our last night, there was an unplanned water outage. We were planning to use the hot tub again that night but without enough water for all us to rinse before and after we end up not getting into it. Other than that, our family really enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave.

My husband and I wanted to get away from all the joise for a couple of days and Yasha's cabin definitely helped us to recharge. The pictures don't do justice to the place, it is much cooler and warmer in person. You can tell it is made with love, care and passion for guest satisfaction. We had everything we needed, and enojoyed every minute. Hot tub was clean, huge and just amazing! Perfect for get away during snow. Host was very responsive, and helpful and even shoveled the drive way for us before we arrived. Thank you for an opportunity to stay at your cabin, we are hoping to come back again! P.S. streaming services were amazing and worked better than at home. We caught up on many shows with no issues!

A true home cabin feel, with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy socializing down stairs while others rest in the lofted bedroom. Tammi’s explanation of the kitchen and house was the most helpful I’ve experienced. Great for a local getaway or newcomers to Rainier.
