Holiday rentals with lake access in Cova

Excellent stay. The house exceeded expectations, beautiful and very neat. It smelled very well. In addition, the site was extremely calm and with a lot of privacy. They were very attentive, always ready to help. We had a small situation that we eventually managed to solve ourselves, however they were attentive to the point of leaving a basket with breakfast at our door for the inconvenience we had. I recommend it 100% and we will definitely be back there.

Great for a family, we had a wonderful weekend. Nice to have 3 full bathrooms, never a wait even with many adults getting ready! Beautiful view of the river, bridges, landscape of the area. Super convenient with good restaurants and a supermarket in walking distance. Would love to stay here again on our next vacation to Gerês.

The house is cozy, well-equipped, and offers stunning views. It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway, close to the Peneda-Gerês National Park. Beautiful property with even more beautiful grounds! Eusebio's place is very peaceful, with a big pool, flat yard, and beautiful plants everywhere! The home was perfect for our family of 3. We loved exploring this remote area, as well as driving to Viana do Castelo to shop and eat.

We loved our short stay at Cesar’s mill house. The house was just as described, very cosy and quiet. We loved being surrounded by the small waterfall and stream. Felt like a fairy tale house.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house in Gerês! The location is stunning, surrounded by nature and just a short drive from the national park. The house itself is spacious, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. We loved the cozy living room and the outdoor terrace, perfect for enjoying morning coffee with breathtaking views. The host was incredibly welcoming and provided great recommendations for local activities and dining. We especially enjoyed the nearby hiking trails and exploring the charming local villages. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and immerse themselves in the beauty of Gerês. We can't wait to return!

Vivi a movie setting on this Airbnb. With the countryside around and all the scenery made to work. Mónica is concerned with the smallest details, even with the flowers of the environment being cared for every day. We spent the end of the year 2024 to 2025 and it was a dream. All very magical. We had a strong presence of God in the environment because it was inserted in the midst of nature, with all the modorm of a spa having the best of both worlds. We'll definitely be back next time. Congratulations Monica for the great work, it's not just managing an Airbnb but transforming a person when they leave your property. 5 stars

Unfortunately there were only 2 nights, house and location 5*.. Mr. Antonio was spectacular with us making it easy at check in/check out leaving us completely at will, D. Olivia e o Sr. Secundino were impeccable with us making us feel like we were part of the family, some loves we came with a full heart and very eager to return soon but this time with more time because Gerês is beautiful and mt was left to explore.. until soon and mt thank you for all kindness and availability 🥰

Wonderful stay in a great apartment in Quinta Da Barca. The host Nathalie was very responsive and ensured we had everything we needed in the house, even offering a clean mid-stay and putting out a cot for our baby. It's a 3 bedroom duplex with all the amenities required including 5g internet speed, living room + TV, dining room, nice balcony with table and chairs, and all the kitchen appliances. Quinta Da Barca is a lovely residence situated close to Esposende, it has a golf course, tennis courts, pool and it's on the river. The apartment is very close to the pool (1 min walk) which is really helpful when you have small kids that need to go back and forth between the house and the pool. Recommend anyone to go stay in the Nathalie's appartment, we will definitely revisit next year!

We stayed 4 nights in the apartment and it more than covers all expectations. Very quiet place (with restaurants on the same street) and close to Peneda-Gerês National Park Carlos and Alía are always very attentive to answer any questions

The apartment was spotless. The location was quite good. Check-in is quite flexible. Mrs. Luísa is super friendly and attentive, she gave us some information on what to do in the surrounding area. I'm sure if I return to Gerês I will repeat the stay.

We were very comfortable in the house, everything was super new and everything was very clean. The bed was maybe a little small but it was very comfortable, the two rooms were bright and nice. The dining area and very chula kitchen. Anabela was very friendly and helpful at all times, she also gave us some suggestions of restaurants to go to. The truth is that the apartment is very careful and very nice. In addition there were bathroom products (gel, shampoo, softener etc.) that we could use and this is appreciated :) Thank you for your hospitality Anabela!

We had a lovely stay at this cottage located in the countryside in a relaxing place! José and Aurora were very attentive: tips, fruit and apple juice from the farm, thank you! Supermarket 5 minutes away, rivers for swimming a few minutes away, Amarante and Guimarães 45 minutes away, Porto 1h15.

This place is incredible! We stayed for 5 nights and didn't want to leave. The location is great for walking, with endless exploring opportunities straight from the door, and is only a short drive from beautiful beaches (we visited Praia da Arda and Praia de Afife). However, we were extremely happy spending many of our days at the house, swimming in the river, reading, cooking, enjoying the peaceful location and beautiful views. Previous reviews were very helpful in knowing what to expect and, as mentioned by another guest, it would be difficult to get here without a car. There are no shops, cafes or restaurants within walking distance, but we arrived with plenty of groceries and found the kitchen so well equipped that we opted to eat in every night. We loved our stay here and are already thinking of a return visit.

Everything was great. The house is prettier live than the pictures! We slept with our two kids and we didn't need anything.

The place is very nice and the house in general is good. Need some arrangement and paint some of the walls. Being the bathroom next to the living room and having the sliding door, it does not fit well, so the smells in the drain come to the living room. Very uncomfortable if someone has to use the sofa bed to sleep there. The people who took care of us were very friendly. We appreciate the welcome cake.

Beautiful house, amazing private location above a lake. Very relaxing being immersed in nature. House well kitted out and lovely features. We took our paddleboard and wonderful paddle boarding on the lake. Children loved the swimming and the ‘cold tub’ plunge pool. Thankyou Gerrit and Grace, we hope to return.

Gui has two houses for rent, in a nice, quiet, rural environment close to beautiful Ponte-de-Lima. She is very friendy and extremely helpful.

Filipa's converted mill is a wonderful place, hidden between the hills. Our kids enjoyed playing in the river and observing the wildlife around it. There are some great restaurants nearby and good hiking opportunities in the nearby national park. Filipa was very helpful and provided lots of recommendations for the surroundings.
