beautiful place and superb hosts 3km from the town which was ideal. lots to do in town shopping pubs and restaurants. loved the unique alpacas you can open the window and the pop their heads in. Great place for children to visit

Hosts were amazingly friendly when we arrived. Place was great inside and and surrounding areas were gorgeous. Well worth visiting for a quiet getaway.

We had an amazing stay at Ciaran’s place. We were in town for a wedding at Mount Druid which was only 1 mile away, this was the absolute perfect place to stay. Our two kids loved the cows just outside the house and the swing set which they generously let my 3 year old play on. The house was clean, well kept and not cluttered which we appreciated with 2 small kids. Beds were comfortable and the space was big. We would definitely stay here again if we were back in town.

I was exactly as described little bit far from where I needed to be, but that was my mistake for not reading the map properly, it was lovely and relaxing and I would definitely stay there again

We enjoyed our stay especially the welcome from bear and dara ( Janes lovely friendly dogs). Accommodation is very clean and spacious. It is a convenient quiet location with Tullamore and Clara not far away with easy access from m6 motorway. We are happy to recommend and will tell our friends and family.

We had a lovely stay at this garden studio. It is fairly close to the centre and private despite being in the back garden of the owner's house, it is clean and warm with electric heating available. The hosts left us items for the continental breakfast which made for a lovely welcome.

Beautiful cottage few minutes drive to Athlone town, so quiet and peaceful, everything we needed on site, turf fire, and too many treats left out for the waistline! Cold drinks in the fridge too. Josephine’s a very responsive and helpful host, it was nice to meet her before we departed. I can highly recommend this place
