House holiday rentals in Council of the City of Sydney

I was traveling with my grandparents. The location is excellent in a quiet environment. It was about 15 minutes by rental car to the center of Sydney. The host was also kind and responded quickly, which I appreciated. The room was clean and easy to spend time in, and we were able to enjoy a barbecue while sightseeing.

The property more than met our expectations - immaculate, well provisioned (over and above other properties we have stayed at), better than the pictures and the location was an absolutely perfect for our base for our week long stay, 2 minutes from Bondi Junction and 20 minutes from Bondi Beach. Tina made sure we knew she was there and available if we needed her, we didn't actually but nice to know she was always available.

A fantastic spot to spend time with our family in a lovely neighborhood, so close to everything that is good about Sydney.

We had a terrific stay at Bruce's place. The place is exactly like the photos, so our expectations were 100% matched with the location. It is a lovely and quiet location, surrounded by bushland and nice, quiet streets. I will stay there again when visiting Sydney next time. A really good find and well worth the price.

We really enjoyed staying at Geoff‘s place which was just as described, in a great location, very clean and with both restaurants and the beach just around the corner. Geoff was very responsive and helpful both before and after the stay.

Janai’s apartment is a superb place to stay in the Potts Point/Elizabeth Bay area. It is immaculately clean and the offer of a welcome pack was very much appreciated. Janai is a very flexible host and she clearly takes great pride in her lovely spacious apartment. Thank you for a great stay.

I was apprehensive on first seeing the house from the street, it looked so small. But it turned out to be like Dr Who's TARDIS. Huge on the inside and plenty of room for the 5 of us. There was plenty of room for chilling together and to escape to another room for some peace. There was a hair dryer and a straightener in the house, which my partner was happy to see and could have saved taking hers. One criticism that I could think of is that it's on the flight path so passing jets can be noisy. The pool was still up for us (late Feb/early March) and it was very welcoming for the hot humid weather we had. Liz was a great host and very responsive. Happy to visit to clean the pool. She also reminded us of the bin day.

Our experience was wonderful. The terrace house was very comfortable and well appointed. Peter was super responsive and flexible as a host. Although we chose the location to primarily be close to family in Redfern, we found it to also be wonderfully close to transit, and great local coffee shops, cafes and bakeries.

Michael’s place was superb! Well located, cost and spacious. The outdoor area was a real bonus with the sunny weather we were lucky to have. The hand written tips for our British friend - who joined us and was seeing Sydney for her first time - was a real lovely touch. Thank you Michael for flexible check in and check out - much appreciated!

I had a great stay! The studio was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was excellent, with easy access to public transport, making it convenient to get around. Nina was really friendly and responsive, which made the stay even better. Overall, a great place to stay - I would definitely recommend.

The house had all the essential items, like what we have at home. The cookwares were incredible, much more than we expected even including a mini wok! The three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were so clean. Laundry machines were good too, separated washer and dryer. You don't need to bring anything to move into this house except toothpaste and toothbrush. The treat was great too - Oreo and Chips. The host provides more than enough towels and 3 hair dryers. Overall, this is a great house, highly recommended.

Listing is as described: clean, well-appointed, functional. The bedding is of good quality. Close to Redfern station with a direct line to Circular Quay and Bondi Junction.

we loved so much the location and the very tasteful decorated , well equipped beautiful house. it was not only the best location but the house spread over 3 levels was just stunning - not a large house yet so many places to sit and relax or retreat - thoughtful designed the place felt spacious and comfortable with high end kitchen and also washing machine and dryer. it is a historical house but feels brand new - we got used to the 3 levels connected through stairs quite quickly - the location was the best - it's in the middle of it all - such great restaurants , cafes and museums and galleries in walking distance - and Darlinghusrt is the top location for us - young and diverse full of culture and activity yet calmer and nicer than the center - would come back to this place any time again ! it's such a wonderful experience altogether - made us feel like locals . The hosts were so helpful , communicative b kind !

This is a cool and stylish apartment. It is spacious and while close to the centre of Sydney, it was remarkably peaceful. We could easily walk down to the centre and there’s also plenty of restaurants close by. Frank is a top host; always friendly and quick to respond. Loved it!

We could walk to great cafes, shops, and local attractions, which made exploring super easy. The host was responsive, and made check-in a breeze. The home was really cool and quirky, with all modern kitchen and bathrooms, and was close to everything Sydney has to offer and perfect for us to stay. Damian was really helpful and accommodating with check in and check out and communication throughout. Was the perfect place for our large group of people to stay and I would highly recommend staying at this home.

This was our second visit to this beautiful home. The house is beautifully appointed and feels like a really special space. Location is excellent. It's a beautiful neighbourhood and so close to Light Rail into city. This year we brought bikes and were amazed how easily we could get around, even safely into city, on our bikes. We will definitely be back.

We had a great time as a family of 8 (including one toddler) stying at Matt’s house. The location was perfect with many food options accessible. Matt was super helpful in allowing us early check-in and late check-out. Highly recommend this place to everyone looking to stay in Darlinghurst.

David’s house was a wonderful home away from home. With plenty of space on a quiet street, it was just a short walk to nearby bustling areas. I would definitely recommend this piece of Sydney history as a great place to stay. The two bedrooms each with an ensuite was perfect for my friend and I.

This was our first experience with AirBnB and what a wonderful introduction to such a great service. Janine was not only helpful and responsive as a host but made us feel right at home. Her place was exactly as described, we found it to be a little oasis in a big city. Excellent location close to shops, restaurants and public transport, simply parked the car and forgot about it for the duration of our stay. Thanks again Janine and AirBnB. 5 stars.

Stayed here with as a group of 9 girls, was perfect for a girls trip to Sydney! House was lovely! Host we’re always helpful and responsive and very generous as we had a few changes to numbers which the accommodated wonderfully. Location was great with good transport options and walkable restaurants and cafe’s. Highly recommend.

What a find! Helen’s place was more than we could have hoped for. Set in a leafy, quiet street but only a block from lovely cafes, restaurants and beautiful shops. The home was so comfortable, clean, well furnished and well stocked with everything needed. Best of all was Helen’s fantastic, friendly communication and flexibility. We so look forward to another stay in the future.

The Location is excellent about 3 minutes walks to the Allianz Stadium. Me and my friend really had a great time during our stay at this unit. I would highly recommended this place. Thank you so much 🙏🏻🙏🏻
