This cottage is set in an idyllic location: right next to the river in an extremely picturesque hamlet. The garden is by the river, and we sat there with our drinks, watching the river go by! The cottage itself is charming and a lovely place to relax. It has all the amenities one needs, as well as easy parking. It was very peaceful. Christiane welcomed us, and was very friendly, as well as helpfully explaining what to see and where best to go. We walked to the famous church and chapel from the cottage. This was an ideal stopover for us for a couple of nights on our way back to England from the south of France, but we would happily have stayed longer to relax and explore this part of Normandy. Overall, a charming cottage in an idyllic, peaceful and beautiful setting.

My brothers and I had a great weekend in Franck and Hervé's lovely home. Comfortable bedding, fully equipped kitchen, etc. Special mention for the river at the foot of the house which immersed us in a relaxing and meditative environment. Thank you!

We had a lovely week at Laetitia's beautiful home. It offers the best of both worlds, right in the middle of a lovely village with everything you need but being the gates you have a huge stunning garden with stream and church bells ringing. Spotlessly clean, excellent swimming pool, great games and bikes to keep the children entertained and lovely hosts. We needed a pharmacy whilst there and the local one is 2 mins drive away next to the supermarket. They were exceptionally helpful and kind and made a huge effort to speak English. Felt very well rested on our return home, thank you!

A very pleasant weekend in Normandy. The house is pleasant, functional, nicely decorated. Sandrine is a very nice host who responds to messages immediately. Very good.

Our stay at La Chauvinière went very well, we were able to enjoy this very comfortable cottage for a group of friends with babies! We highly recommend it!

This is a beautiful little refurbished apartment with everything you need for a (small) stay. It is located in an interior courtyard that is very quiet but as soon as you go out you are in the heart of the small town! Awesome! Two small improvements to be made: 1. The sofa bed is very uncomfortable for an adult (small and with a hole between the two parts of the mattress) , I could suggest adding an extra (very large) thickness with a mattress topper or simply changing clic-clac. 2. If you sleep on the sofa bed, the light enters the room a lot, equipping yourself with an eye headband!

We had a great weekend, the house is beautiful, well-equipped and the hosts are very considerate! We recommend ☺️
