Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Cornelius

This was our second time staying at the elm. We love it. They even had it decorated for Christmas. The gas fireplace was perfect and cozy. Will be staying again in the future.

Such a beautiful place! The house matched the description and had more amenities than listed. Plenty of room for everyone. Everything was clean and fresh. Owner was very responsive and flexible. Will definitely stay again when visiting.

The home was great. Our family of 4 had plenty of space. The living room and kitchen/dining are so spacious. Pictures of the listing don’t do it justice. It is a very clean and clutter-free home, which we enjoyed. Beds were comfy.

My wife and me and our German shepherd came to Charlotte so my wife could recover from surgery. Daniel was super nice and responsive with all communications, and the house had everything we needed. We couldn't tell this from the photos but the backyard is fenced (great for our dog) and comes right up to the four-mile greenway, which is beautiful and fun to watch as people walk by. The peaceful setting was helpful to my wife's recovery. The space is all on one floor, which was ideal for us. The house was very clean and it was easy to get in and out. Maybe best of all is the Pit Boss, which let me indulge my love of smoking meats. Overall we had a great experience, I can recommend this location highly.

I would stay at Morena’s again! It was clean, airy, an amazing backyard and deck. The location is close to restaurants, Target, and more. The photos looks just like the rental and Morena was responsive and helpful.

The house was extremely clean and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, the host made everything simple and easy and when I visit again I will definitely be staying here again!!!

It was situated on a beautiful lake in a beautiful neighborhood. Everything we needed was there. I would highly recommend staying at Patricia’s Airbnb. She was an excellent hostess.

This place looked really great in the pictures so it caught my eye and i was pleasantly surprised to see it looked and felt even better in person. It was so clean and spacious, the modern design is beautiful and the host was amazing. Definitely one of my best experiences with Airbnb.

Enjoyed my stay here, great location and easy check in. My only issue is that the second bed is really just a daybed in a room that is basically a closet. It doesn’t necessarily live up to the “two bed” standard. The main bed is a king size though. Other than that great stay!

Great stay! Beautiful setting. The place was spotless. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. I felt very safe there. The host was so accommodating and very quick to respond to messages. The property is very wooded and beautiful... even saw 2 deer! It's the kind of nice place where you wish you had reason to stay longer. Great value for the nightly fee. Will definitely be staying there in the future!

My family and I had an amazing time at this house! Great waterfront features, very roomy, nice lake views, etc. we would love to return in the future! Only thing I will say is this house has a separate booking called the boathouse. The boathouse is a different airbnb listing, and it’s not mentioned in the description of this property. There were others staying there at the same time as us and it is on property. Next time we will book both the boathouse and the main house for optimum privacy. Other than that, no complaints! Thank you for a great few days at the lake!

We had a great time at Lake Norman. House has plenty of space and is in a great centralized location. It is down a slight offshoot from the main part of the lake which is a huge positive since there is very little boat traffic in front of the house. Quiet and peaceful. We would go back again for sure. The yard and porch are shaded with fans making it very comfortable even with heat and humidity. We rented a boat and were able to dock it right at the house. We had such a good time, we put it on the list as a location we may want to retire to. Thank you Jennifer for everything.

Native to the area. Ended up booking Melanie’s place for family to stay, due to local flood where I lost my home. This place was above and beyond, and just what we needed to escape and relax from the stresses of clean up. The house was magnificent and spotless; well stocked with all the amenities. We we’re lucky to find this place, and would definitely recommend it to anyone that is looking for a peaceful getaway on the water, yet close enough to restaurants and local shopping.

What a joy to wake up to that magnificent view, from a beautiful condo, so zen, so well designed. It is conducive to everything positive. The prompt and courteous response by the owners to any questions makes the stay all the more a 5 star experience. Can’t wait to go back.

Our stay was wonderful! The Airbnb was peaceful, true to the photos, and very clean. The hosts were responsive and accommodating. We stayed for a spa weekend at Rock Barn, and the location was perfect—less than 10 minutes from the spa. After our treatments, we were able to come back and fully relax, which made the experience even better. With guests coming from different locations, we arrived in multiple cars, and there was plenty of parking, which was a huge plus. We also enjoyed entertaining ourselves with college basketball and games we brought, thanks to the large TVs. Our only regret was not booking a longer stay to get more rest.

The space was large and perfect for our family who had come from several parts of the country. Super convenient to great shopping and restaurants and the airport! The host provided over and above extras on those amenities that many times you would find just the minimum such as paper products, cleaning products, towels, blankets and more! Our host was so responsive and you could tell cared about us as guests insuring we had all we needed. I really appreciate that.
