We had an incredible stay at Lisa’s charming home in Cork! From the very beginning, Lisa went above & beyond—she was in regular contact with us before, during, and even after our stay, answering all our questions and helping us feel totally prepared for our long stay coming from the U.S. The house itself is in a great spot on the North side of Cork, within a reasonable and enjoyable walk to the city centre. It’s an older home with so much character, and it’s also incredibly cozy and welcoming. After weekends away traveling, we actually looked forward to getting back “home” to this space—always a sign of a truly special stay. And the bed—wow. Hands down, it is the most comfortable Airbnb bed I’ve ever slept in. Lisa is a fantastic host, responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely kind. This was a great stay- the location is central to everything and on many bus lines. The flat itself is quiet, linens are lovely, and had everything needed.

We loved our time at Stuart's place! Beautiful, charming home and garden in an awesome location. Stuart was super quick to respond to any questions and offered helpful pointers for planning our trip and seeing great spots in town.

This place is a gem! Evelyn was a wonderful host and so helpful in many ways. She offered airport pick ups and drop offs and made us feel welcomed and comfortable as soon as we arrived in Cork. The cabin itself is adorable and clean. The bed was also so comfortable. Couldn’t recommend this place and Evelyn more!

We had a lovely stay at the penthouse which has beautiful views of the sea from the balcony. The place was very clean and comfortable. Good location out of the city centre for visiting county Cork. We would highly recommend.

A stunning house - very memorable! We had 4 adults and 2 kids there for a week - loads of space for everyone. Appreciated all the thoughtful touches - from the lovely welcome from Tadgh, to having lots of loo paper, shower gel, tea etc! A great location to explore Cork city and further afield. Highly recommend.

We wanted to stay a bit outside of the downtown area as we have a car. There was ample on street parking. The Lidl was only a few blocks away. There is a lake just about 1 km up the hill which is great for a walk or run. Beware of the geese. They are a bit feisty. You can easily walk into the "tourist zone". The kitchen is well equipped. As it is an older house there are a few quirks. Pearse walks you through them. On other reviews the height of the shower was noted. That is true. The shower ceiling slants. As I am the average size of a 12 yo (maybe 10), this was not an issue for me. My husband said he sat down and it was not a big deal. The bed was very comfortable. The dishwasher and washing machine worked fine. Nearly everything can be recycled in the bins out front which we appreciate.

Just as described. Great place to stay. The shopping center a 5 minute walk from the house was a godsend!!! Stocked up on breakfast items. We had an amazing dinner at the Mount Oval restaurant. We attended the Kerry vs Cork football game and it was a quick Uber ride both ways. Would highly recommend.
