My son and I had a glorious break at Bank Ground Farm. The weather was typically Cumbrian, but we felt so at home this just enforced a much needed rest and down time. We were very comfortable, Jonathon and his staff were so friendly and accommodating, and our fabulous veggie breakfasts were the cherry on the cake. Thankyou so much guys, we'll be back!

Me and a mate stayed here nice hot clean showers and toilets, almost seamed brand new. Bunk bed was comfortable with nice fresh linen and the room was tidy with a wardrobe and enough space for a few bags. Communal kitchen with drinking water and sinks, also a nice cooked breakfast in the morning.

Samantha is a great host who takes pride in providing a great experience for those who stay, ensuring that your well informed with the hotel and location.. warm and friendly reception on arrival setting the standard for the stay. A clean and value for money location as seen on the profile and website. Thoroughly happy with me experience and stay at the Butterfly Hotel with the additional facilities as a bonus. Thank you Sam.

Although the place is tucked away in the beautiful country side, Angela provided clear instructions to get there. It’s warm and welcoming with a great view, has sufficient amenities and comfortable beds. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing hotel. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. Towels and snacks were changed frequently which was amazing. Swimming pool and jacuzzi were absolutely amazing and free to use for all guests. The area does not have many shops/restaurants but that is not a reason to not stay here!

You won’t be disappointed. The setting is far enough away from town that you feel calm, but close enough to walk to when you wish. Ideal. Beautiful views from the balcony and nothing but birds to listen to. Hotel was clean and fresh. Menu was interesting and broad. Staff were all efficient and polite. Fantastic

First time here - lovely receptionist very friendly, they also upgraded us when we arrived which was a lovely surprise. Room clean and simple. Best part was the pool and jacuzzi.

I was looking for somewhere quiet to stay as I was spending the weekend racing in the Lakes. I had a clean, comfortable room and access to a good kitchen, plus lovely views over the fields from the bedroom window. It was exactly what I needed and I would definitely stay again.

Stayed with Jean whilst visiting the area for a wedding. Very proactive host with clear communication and happy to help from the moment we booked our stay. This is a wonderful, peaceful B&B in a lovely village. All the amenities we needed were in walking distance. Very much recommended.

Anne's place was fantastic, we had a wonderful time and with the horses being right outside it was lovely going over to say hello with my morning coffee. we where only meant to stay two nights but then asked for an extra night because we didn't want to leave! the place inside was perfect amount of space for my boyfriend, our son and myself and it was very warm considering we stayed Iver new year! safe to stay we will definitely be returning 😊
