Holiday houses in Cooks Valley

The Vista Cabin is a magical place and we so enjoyed our stay. It was everything we were looking for and more. Elizabeth’s place has everything you need for a getaway and we utilized the kitchen daily. Even with the rain the place is beautiful with the views of mountains & the ocean. Elizabeth was super responsive to our questions. This is by far my favorite Air BnB experience. I don’t often return to places I’ve been as there are many places to see, tho I definitely hope to return to the Vista Cabin and Shelter Cove.

The location was beautiful, savage and awe inspiring. You could watch the waves and listen to the ocean thunder below you while soaking in a hot tub. Doesn’t get much better than that. Mario’s Marina Bar (very close by) was a fun and friendly place to hang out in the evening. Highly recommend.

Such a lovely home. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. This place is great for large groups. Also people with dogs will really appreciate the enclosed backyard. The living room with the couch with multiple recliner chairs was sublime especially for the nights we watched movies on the massive TV with theater surround sound. The beds were comfortable. All three bathrooms had a luxurious feeling to them. Literally ever space in the house was comfortable and felt large. Also great host! Any questions we had Jon got back to us in minutes with an answer. We will go back for sure!!

I had a pleasant experience during my stay. The location is serene and within walking distance to the beach, a brewery, and several other local businesses. The property was exceptionally clean and spacious, provided all the amenities we needed. I would certainly recommend this location and would absolutely rebook in the future.

Brian and Elaina were lovely. The place was beautiful and very private. The wifi worked great. They were super thoughtful and accommodated our late check in. Would definitely go there again! Great nearby hiking spots as well.

Spencer's cottage was the perfect getaway for my wife and I. It was clean, spacious, and filled with many thoughtful touches. We had the record player going all weekend, and definitely took advantage of the watercolor supplies. The check in/out process and communication was top notch. Couldnt recommend this place more!

The views are absolutely stunning!!! There is plenty to do, see, and learn about Shelter Cove! The cabin was perfect for our little family. Had I read about the drive to the coast, I might not have booked. But this place is definitely a hidden gem. Probably why they refer to it as the lost coast! Although we arrived late at night and the road in had us nervous with the rain and fog, the next day we drove it and it seemed much easier to navigate in the daylight. I would 100% book this spot again!

Great location for exploring Avenue of the Giants. The unit was clean and everything looked new. Lots of thoughtful touches like nice lighting and fully stocked kitchen. The shower is amazing and bed was very comfortable.

There are not enough stars in the universe to describe Philip's house. We had a great time and we plan to return. It was easy to find, cozy at Christmas, and everything exceeded out expectations. The views of the ocean are spectacular and you can hear the waves crashing and the sea lions barking from the house. The heat pump kept us warm, the house had everything we needed, and Philip was quick to answer any questions.
