PRIVATE CAMPSITE - MINNEWASKA-GUNKS

SarahRating, 5 stars114 months ago
Alex was a wonderful host! The campsite was exactly as described and the directions were easy to follow. Alex was there when I arrived to show me around, and he even offered to help take stuff to my campsite. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Glamp Suzanne on Flower Farm

JamieRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Leslie's North River Hobby Farm has an incredible charm, from the energy of the land to the craftsmanship and architecture of the buildings. We were only there for one day but the short stay was perfect to finish off our camping trip. Our glamping tent had a heater in it to take the edge off the cold nights, and we really enjoyed using the custom hot tub. Everything was kept clean, including the kitchenette and bathhouse spaces. The Farm had a nice communal vibe and we got to connect and meet some of the other guests staying there. All in all, I hope we can come back here again and stay for longer to enjoy more of the surrounding lands and offerings.

20' Canvas Bell Tent w/Sauna at Retreat Center

CharitaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
First time staying here. It's beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Friendly owners and dog (Mona). Nice fire pit to hang out. Very quiet. We stayed in the tent. Had plenty of room. Bring your own headlamps (flashlights) so you can walk around at night. Tent will need a lamp or your headlamps. There is no electricity, however you can go into the big kitchen area and they have charging outlets. Bathrooms were pristine and smelled really nice. Property was clean as well. Didn't see any trash on the ground. You can stay in several different places within the property. They are well spaced, so privacy is nice. They have yurts and A frame cabins. Would definitely recommend. Check their schedules because they don't always have air bnb. They're seasonal.

Glamp Thomas on Flower Farm

JessRating, 5 stars6 months ago
My husband and I had such an amazing stay! We took advantages of as many things as we could in the area while we were there and loved our little home away from home (Glamp Thomas.) This was the first of many times glamping for us! Thank you to our wonderful hosts. We will be back with our family.

Campsites on the Vineyard

MeganRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Simple camping situation in a large field behind the vineyard with 4-5 other sites, spaced out, but there is no hiding from your neighbors. Two individual bathroom stall/sheds that are probably two football fields away from the campsites. You drive through a field to get to your site. Very quiet at night with beautiful star viewing. Very scenic and clean property. Harry also provides lots of firewood. He was easy to communicate with and was very friendly.

Firefly Upstate Glamping at Gatherwild Ranch

MatthewRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We can’t recommend a stay at Laura’s property more highly! She has created a magical oasis at Gatherwild. The property and its surroundings are stunning, and offer plenty to do and see without ever leaving (beautiful walking trails, friendly farm animals, vegetable gardens, games and crafts)— our kids were in heaven. The location is also ideal, close to lots of great food, culture, and nature. Sleeping quarters were clean and comfy, and the communal kitchen and bathroom were well-stocked. It made for a seamless glamping experience with our kids. Laura was a wonderful host and we hope to come back soon!

glamping tent in hidden pasture

MichelleRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Marleen and Dan were incredibly friendly hosts who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Their two sweet boys bonded with my kids, and they had a great time playing together. It was a bit cold during our stay; the wood-burning stove mentioned in older reviews is no longer usable. We stayed warm under cozy bedding but needed layers and hats at night. We enjoyed having a fire each night to cook dinner and spend quality time together disconnected. Just remember, you’re on a working farm—bring boots or proper shoes. I also wish I had brought some written directions since we couldn’t use GPS when leaving the tent, but there is WIFI available near the main house. Other highlights: We visited a nearby town for a fall festival that felt like an episode of Gilmore Girls, and my kids loved helping with the offered farm chores tour, interacting with the chickens, horses, ducks, and even petting bunnies!

Forest Belle Glamping at Bellfire in the Catskills

DiamondRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We loved our stay at Bellfire and would love to come back to experience their other sites on the camp ground. Memories on the hammock with golden leaves falling down will be a core memory with my partner. 🍂🍁 Thank you for a magical stay! Appreciated all the thoughtful touches from the fresh drinking water in the room and propane and wood to purchase in the adorable shop on grounds. It made staying so easy and peaceful!

The Pines at Glamp Frogmore

CharlotteRating, 5 stars7 months ago
The tent and site was great! There was plenty of room for our dogs to run around and for us to relax. Our pup loved swimming in the little pond and running the trails! We were very unprepared for the rain so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors as much as we liked but we took a short 45 minute drive to Newport to occupy our day instead! Be sure to bring your own food as there are not a ton of options for restaurants in the area but the site is equipped with a really cool over the fire grill! Also be sure not to get the Pines and the Ferns confused as there are two sites in the property! Overall it was a great weekend!

Canvas Bell Tent in the Woods with Sauna

DanyaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had the absolute coziest night here. The tent is beautifully decorated and Heather included all the things you could possibly need. We pulled the table to the middle of the tent and did one of the puzzles. Felt incredibly private and peaceful. We were concerned about being cold as it was late October when we visited, but we ended up being totally comfortable with the heated blanket Heather set up. The whole property is really special with a brook, awesome sauna, outdoor tubs, and lots of hammocks and seating areas. Can't wait to come back.

Mountain View Glampsite at Wild Wood’s Ranch

KeriRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Lindsay's airbnb was great! It was so nice to relax in nature on such a beautiful property! My dog loved it too :) It had everything we needed. Also, if you hear loud, strumming noises in the night, its the frogs!! I'm from the west coast and haven't heard rubberband frogs before, so I was a little freaked for a minute until I realized what the sound was coming from haha.

9 person glamping tent- dreamweaver

LanaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This was a great stay. I had certain reservations while booking since I was traveling with small children and this was our first “glamping” experience, so ensure you are clear on what is and isn’t included in your stay before you book. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms and pool were clean and we really appreciated the kindness and communication of the hosts and the activities that kids and adults of all ages can enjoy.

Serene & lovely camp site #2

AngelaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
What an absolutely beautiful and special location this was for our trip in Vermont. Elizabeth’s property and hospitality was truly one of a kind. We had such a wonderful time visiting and staying a few nights on her property, making us feel safe and welcomed. The location of our tent set up was private enough for us to feel as if we were wilderness camping but close enough for us to feel comfortable if we needed anything. The parking lot is just a short walk from the tent sites. All of the amenities listed were accurate and well appreciated. We utilized the outdoor kitchen which was really useful for storing our food. The service was non existent in town and on the property just as listed but that was probably one of the things I enjoyed as it really pushed us to connect deeper with the elements and nature. We will absolutely be back to visit again.

Cannot say enough great things about this camp. From the location, to the amenities, to the overall vibe, my partner and I found ourselves constantly saying, “wow, this is awesome”. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking to get away for a weekend in nature, but wants to do it in style. We absolutely loved our time and will 100% be coming back.

Forsythia Corner

JulieannRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We enjoyed our stay in Bethel. Great location and comfortable accommodations. William was thoughtful in providing all of the necessities. The tent is close to a busy rode, so if you are a light sleeper it might be smart to pack ear plugs. However, this didn’t bother us personally. Great stay!
