Holiday rentals with a patio in Comal River

Traveling with another couple, we found Richie’s place to be ideal. The bedrooms were identical in size and amenities. and offered scrumptious linens and one of the best shower heads I’ve experienced. The night before, we stayed at The Driskill in Austin so the bar was pretty high and did not disappoint. It is right on the River Walk but avoids the most crowded areas. It is across from the art museum, and behind there is Tre, a restaurant we loved! We were new to Latch. Next time we would make sure access was emailed to more than one person in our party. This was new to us but we figured it out. We enjoyed sitting on a rooftop deck at the end of a busy day. The night before we saw folks enjoying the gas fire pit there but we could not figure out how to turn it on.

We loved staying at the Cabin. It has everything you may need for a calm and charming vacation. I enjoyed having breakfast and coffee en the second floor deck, playing the game boards at night and touring the nearby attractions during the day. Dakota is a gem, she is so intelligent and you will be greeting by her upon arrival to the property. We will come back soon. Thank you

Getting to the apartment was really easy, Lance quickly answered any questions I had and was very friendly! Upon coming into the apartment it was clean and everything looked like the pictures! It felt cozy and like a home away from home! I would definitely book again the next time I’m in San Antonio!!

Angela's place is very close to everything. The beautiful Cathedral and its displays can be seen from the room. The apartment is on the 2nd floor. Usually I appreciate when I can open windows in the room, but these windows you cannot open. I just love fresh air! But the room was definitely not stuffy nor did it contain any odors, very clean. We loved the cozy room. My husband loved the bed, but I prefer a firm bed for my back. Nothing is ever perfect when you leave home, but would highly recommend Angelas place. She is quick to respond, helpful with whatever questions you have and overall a very nice person. We actually LOVED San Antonio as everybody we met at restaurants or had conversations with were just very kind and good people! God bless!

Shannon is quickly responsive and super helpful! The studio is exactly as described and was perfect for a week visiting friends in the area. It is close to a train track, but it didn't bother us. All in all, great place to stay.

Our stay at the house was fantastic! While there were a couple of minor issues, the host was incredibly responsive and took care of everything as soon as possible. We really appreciated their quick attention to detail. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place with a nice open floor plan. The backyard was big and the pool was heated. 10/10 would visit again!

Zohaib was a gracious host and super communicative. Didn't message him much, but he always responded within minutes. The house is modern and spacious and laid out well. There are modern TV's in every room, including the office space, which he converted to a sleeping room. There are enough amenities to be comfortable and the kitchen and moderately stocked. I would recommend bringing high volume kitchen supplies if you are entertaining a large group, but for the two of us, it was just right. Everything was as described and functioned as it was designed to function. The garage is locked and cannot be used by guests, but that was not a huge deal. The neighborhood is quiet and conveniently located around a lot of restaurants and retail space. I would stay again.

My girlfriend and I are nomads so we’ve seen the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to Airbnbs. Our host Marianne did not let down. We stayed at her house for a month to explore SA and most of the fun was within walking distance. We never felt unsafe. As for the house, you can easily tell how much time, thought, and effort Marianne put in to designing a great experience for her guests. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend this stay to anyone. Strengths: The backyard was very dog friendly. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need for cooking / long term stays. We stayed 1 month. The furniture, including the bed, were all comfy. We felt at home. Note: Consider the nearby railroad. We’d recommend bringing your favorite white noise machine for the night. Weaknesses: None

Had a large group gathering in Gruene. Both units were clean, well decorated, and had great accommodations. I will definitely look to rent the space again when in the area. Location is great and Mark was a great host!

Angela's place was exactly as described and made for a wonderful stay. The location was our favorite part—so many birds and deer that we ended up having breakfast on the balcony in the morning. The entire complex felt safe and really relaxing. Angela has been a fantastic host, extremely responsive with clear instructions. My family and I agreed that we would 100% stay here again when we come back to Canyon Lake. The only minor issues we noticed were that there could have been a bit more toilet paper stocked, and in the master bedroom, turning off the light switch also cuts power to the outlets. It wasn't a big deal; we just charged our phones in the living room while we slept. I wanted to bring it to your attention for future guests. Thanks again for a great stay! ☺️

Anyone looking to rent this place will not be disappointed. Once we got there I found out there was a issue with spectrum that day and not knowing I messaged Meagan at 10 o'clock at night and she responded and tried everything she could to help me figure out what was wrong with the internet and at the end of it all we found out it was on the providers side. I can't thank Meagan enough for all the help and trying her best to make our stay the best it could be. I'll definitely be staying there again!!

Would come back here in a heartbeat. Once you get past the dorm-ish hallways, it feels like a super-private stay even though it's a large apartment building in the downtown (maybe midtown) area. The great view of the river and the balcony made it incredibly peaceful. Plenty of light coming in through the windows plus the cheery decor made it feel light and and welcoming. I appreciated things like the French press, tea kettle, and toaster in the well-appointed kitchen. Workspace perfect- a great spot get some work done, but also enjoy the view and take coffee breaks on the lovely balcony. Location awesome- you could explore a different restaurant or area every day, all walkable, for at least a week. Or, if you want to veg and watch movies, there are two giant TVs. It's kind of an area in transition, so it doesn't feel too crowded, but still feels safe. New stuff popping up all the time... like the new food hall, Make Ready, literally across the parking lot. Loved it, thanks!

Canyon Lake is a nice place to visit. The condo is perfect and Lisa was very responsive. We appreciate our trip and we will certainly consider reserved with Lisa if we comme back in the area.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The accommodation was cozy and comfortable. It was clean and had everything we needed, the kitchen and restroom were stocked. The bed and pillows very comfortable and soft. The location was peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the view from the back porch and the visiting deer. We highly recommend it and definitely stay again.
