Holiday rentals with a kayak in Colusa County

Our original rental was cancelled on us two days before our arrival and fortunately for us we were able to secure Alan’s home. It was absolutely perfect! We spent the majority of our stay on the deck enjoying the view of the lake. The property was secure for our dogs and they enjoyed the grass in the front yard and relaxing on the deck. Alan was very responsive and very friendly. The house was very accommodating. We have already booked this home for our next trip to Lake County. Thank you, Alan! We are looking forward to our stay in June!

Ashley's place was beautiful, clean, and cozy. The views off the deck were gorgious to look at while enjoying a nice cup of coffee. The family had such a good time that my children didn't want to leave.

Beautiful home. Seamless stay. Hosts were available and informative. Great location with a beautiful dock. Very quiet neighborhood.

Melissa was a responsive host, this is a very relaxing getaway and we really enjoyed the space and beautiful lake.

Jessica’s place was clean, comfortable, and spacious just as described in the listing. The view of the lake was beautiful. The kids enjoyed being able to easily access the lake by walking across the road to fish and skip rocks. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need to cook a simple meal. It was a very hot weekend so we were grateful for the AC. The included playpen and high chair for our 1 year old made our stay even more convenient! Jessica did warn us about the gnats, which is something to be expected given the proximity to the lake and time of the year. The bugs got in as soon as we opened the door to take out the trash at night so beware! Checking in and checking out was easy. I would definitely recommend to friends and family and would love to stay here again.

Our stay was amazing! The home is even more beautiful than the photos. There was so much space inside and outside. Had a multitude of supplies and overall was very comfortable! Perfect place for family, friends, and furry friends! The hosts were also so kind and responsive. Will definitely be coming back!

As many have mentioned, this place was a great retreat. My family really enjoyed our stay. It was spacious, but cozy at the same time for our group of 8 (age ranged from 5 y.o. to 70s), plus one furbaby. The arcade, ping pong table, and paddle boats were also a big hit. The view was breathtaking as pictured. It was a beautiful sight to wake-up to every morning and there were so many different types of birds that visited the lake throughout the day. We took advantage of the firepit and made s'mores every night while we stargazed. We also hiked up Mt. Konocti and enjoyed checking out a few of the local wineries. We definitely recommend Stacy's place and look forward to returning in warmer months. (Side note: For older guests and guests with sensitive necks/backs, I'd recommend bringing your own pillow. The beds are firm and most of the pillows are dense.)

This place was perfect for kids of all ages. Lots of entertainment and the perfect getaway for a family with a lot of kids. We enjoyed our stay and didn’t have any problems.

We had a great time at Elaine and Jason's lakeside place. Very tranquil and peaceful setting far away from the hustle and bustle. Elaine and Jason were great hosts, very responsive, friendly and down-to-earth. Our son also enjoyed his time there as there were quite a few kids toys and activities to keep him engaged, as also was the house cat Luna :) Would visit again.

Miguel is a great host and have a beautiful Lake house. It is very clean and organized property and everything is very well maintained. Kitchen in well equipped. I would highly recommend her house for great Airbnb booking for future bookings. Thanks Again for having us Miguel !

Thank you for the quick response on the last-minute booking, and very accommodating to the chaotic situation left by the other unresponsible Airbnb host. Martine saved our New Year trip making it a very enjoyable one. Super quick response and very detailed instructions on check-in and check-out. Her place is well-equipped with everything you need to feel like a cozy home, nice TV, comfortable BIG sofa, heater was on upon arrival, warm and cozy for the cold night. The home has a beautiful lake view with stunning sunrise and sunset views, just enjoyable from the well-done balcony. Fully equipped kitchen with nice kitchen gadgets, some of them look new, most impressive is that they even have a new sponge in the kitchen sink. Thank you Martine!

Rod's place was perfect for our weekend-getaway. Lots of grocery and convenient stores nearby, cute decor, and great amenities - TV, recliner couch, dishwasher, lots of pans and pots, plates, glasses, nice heater, etc. Just make sure to put in the address manually because when we clicked "Get directions" directly from the Airbnb app it took us a couple of miles North further than the place.

If you are on the fence about booking just do it now. Because I told my friends about this place and the secret is out. Literally amazing! The pictures can't do it justice. The water looks more massive and majestic in person. There's three different levels. So if you have kids you can "hide the noise" and that's priceless. I even hate to mention some negatives because it's one of the best air bnbs I ever stayed at. But just a FYI the hot water doesn't stay hot for long in the home. And that's important because you need to rinse off before entering hot tub and obviously afterwards. If you have 5 people like we do.. someone is getting cold shower. So keep the showers short. But it's such a gorgeous home ... who even cares about hot water when SHES THAT PRETTY. Like Cindy Crawford's mole. Nobody cares! So book it before all my friends do and the price goes up. We are already planning on going again this summer.

Madison’s lakefront house is gorgeous & has everything you need to enjoy a day/night in. We really enjoyed the beautiful view and peace this place offers as well as the amenities such as the spa & outside fire pit. Madison was very friendly & helpful during our stay. We hope to come back in the future!

We loved our time at Paulette’s place! We had so much fun being next to the lake and the house was well stocked with essentials. We never “needed” anything. The beds were comfy, bathrooms clean, kitchen was functional. 10/10!
