Thank you for a wonderful stay. Your home was beautifully clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable as was the rest of the house.We really enjoyed the location with eateries in easy walking distance. Will definitely stay again when we’re in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mike’s place. The living space and bedrooms were a good size and very comfortable. It was a great base from which we could explore Nelson. Mike was very responsive when we reached out, too.

What a little Gem we found, well set up and in a great location. We use Air bnb quite a bit and this place was near the top of our list. Will defo try and come back for next years trip.

We enjoyed a whole week here and didn’t want to leave. Nelson itself was great and it was lovely to go back to such a comfortable base to relax after a busy day.

An absolute GEM - both the home and Ina & her family! There is not a single thing I could fault them on, it truly is a gift to have them open their home for others to enjoy. With all the home comforts you need to stay in, and several cosy nooks to settle into both inside and outside, you will be hard pressed to leave the house (and that’s saying something because Nelson is a stunner). Hospitable and thoughtful hosts who communicated excellently and were so accommodating and lovely. This weekend getaway was so desperately needed and your home was the perfect place to disconnect from life’s busyness and truly relax. We had an idyllic two weeks here, exploring on foot, by car, and rented e-bikes. Easy access to a great network of bike trails (the Great Taste Trail). An easy walk to 2 brewpubs and other restaurants and an excellent Thai massage location. Go east to Havelock for mussels or west to Abel Tasman NP for a Waka paddle or beach time. Back home we would relax in the private hot tub, enjoy the TV and cook in the well stocked kitchen. The accommodation was spotless, with a comfortable bed and everything we needed for a relaxing time. The host was always responsive and provided lots os suggestions for sights, shopping and restaurants.

Very comfortable and tidy home, hosts put the fire on before arriving which was great. Impressive views and large home.

Valerie and Ewan were very friendly and a highlight was their spectacular garden. We were very lucky to be able to help ourselves to the abundant veggie patch. Lots of yummy treats left for us on arrival. Good small supermarket, a couple of pubs and the amazing bakery. We had a very peaceful Xmas/New Year here.

Super comfy spot on a historic street just minutes walk from lots of restaurants. Saturday market nearby was great. Jason was a great host.

We found the Clifftop Retreat cabin suited our needs perfectly and Bob provided an excellent level of communication, service and local tips. He also ensured the pantry and wines were stocked with high quality local products. The accomodation was very good with comfortable bed, terrific functional kitchen and amazing clifftop views of the surrounding bay and local area. The location was perfect for our walking trips up into the Abel Tasman National Park and also fantastic local restaurants and wineries. Bob also organised a pick up from the airport for us as we arrived late at night. Overall a fantastic stay and would certainly recommend Clifftop Retreats very highly.

We had a very pleasant couple of nights at Jonathan and Katie's apartment. There is a 5 minute walk to a beautiful swimming beach - a bit stony so I advise shoes or sandals - but the water was heavenly. It's a magical part of the world - I recommend Langford's store and Wharariki beach (be prepared to walk to visit the latter).

Great hosts, and a lovely space to enjoy. Full kitchen was great. They gave lots of local recommendations and were always helpful. Would stay there again!

Michelle and Tim were so welcoming and their house is amazing! It had everything we needed…and more. So spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Continental breakfast was also included which was unexpected and very much appreciated. The kids loved having access to the kayaks, yard and board games. My husband and I enjoyed an evening bike ride with the bikes provided. Michelle and Tim were more than happy to recommend local places to visit and eat at. I honestly cannot fault this place. And really hope that we can revisit one day. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Thank you Michelle and Tim.

We spent a fantastic 3 days at Mark's place. It was spotless and very well equipped. The views from the front are out of this world. It's a great base for exploring Golden Bay. Tiny quibble: the wifi service is intermittent. But this didn't impinge on our stay.

Peak View was beautiful and a highlight of our trip to New Zealand! Totally private. Spectacular views! We loved the sun rises and sunsets. We were there for the full moon. So we also love the moonrise and the moon setting in the morning, visible from the master bedroom! The hot tub and stars were also wonderful. Hope to stay there again sometime. Natalia and Carl were helpful and responsive. It was wonderful to hear their story.

We loved our stay in Mapua and the house was perfect for our 9 person family. The kitchen was very well equipped and having a BBQ was awesome. The outside furniture and garden were lovely. So happy we found this home and Mapua!

It felt like home very quickly. Comfy beds. Beautiful period rural house in a large garden with mature trees. Easy to find a quiet spot under a tree to read a book. Plenty of parking. A good kitchen and laundry. Fresh plums and heaps more in a welcome hamper. The cats were adorable. They called by for some food and a pat a few times a day and then disappeared into the garden. Too many pluses to mention (and we stay in a lot of airbnbs). Negatives which are hardly worth mentioning would be road noise - not too bad and you don't notice it after day 1 - and the kitchen knives were not terribly sharp.

Anne’s villa has charm and character. It is beautifully decorated and very clean. The peaceful gardens are lovely to relax with a book or cook a bbq. Easy stroll into town for restaurant meals and cafes.
