Beautiful view and big rooms. Could have included bit more utensils in the kitchen with proper lids and body lotion, shampoo etc in the bathroom. Everything else was perfect.

Outstanding view and o action - probably couldn’t find better. Great unit for us - balcony with fantastic view and reading sunroom also with same marvellous view.

I had a great time during my holiday - this place is located right on Apollo Bay, with a view of the ocean and close to great restaurants. The place was very spacious and had everything we needed. The instructions to check in were clear.

The property was exactly as advertised during my stay! On top of this, the hosts kept us incredibly informed on how to stay safe with some of the extreme weather conditions in nearby areas. Incredible host and would happily recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Apollo Bay.

Very recommended. Lisa place has a very great view. Can sit in fornt of the balcony and enjoy the view.

Sharon's place is very lovely. The location is perfect, about 50 steps to the sand! It's a beautiful stroll to the Main Street with terrific cafes and restaurants. Everything you could need is at the house and the kitchen is very well-equipped should you choose to stay in and cook. The whole house is spotlessly clean and the garden is well maintained. We throughly enjoyed our stay with our 16yo twins, who enjoyed having their own rooms and queen sized beds. The views are stunning and the sunrise from the balcony is well worth getting up for. We highly recommend Sharons house!

What a memorable stay! The place is so beautiful and comfy. It is very spacious with lots of gorgeous quirks. The highlight was absolutely being visited by the local emus and cows :)

Best views by far of any place we've stayed in, glorious views of the sea and the bush all around. We spotted koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and many native birds near the house. The three separate living areas made this a brilliant place for a large family group as it was so quiet for sleeping and playing games separate from others when needed, but there was also a really lovely big shared living space. The local coastline is stunning, with a 5 minute drive to the coast and 10 to a good patrolled swimming beach, and scenic drives to both Lorne and Apollo Bay. Brigitte was super friendly, responsive and easy to deal with. We won't forget this unique stay.

This is our second stay at Kareka and it was just as comfortable and well equipped as last time. There is nothing nicer than falling asleep to the sounds of crashing waves in a warm, soft bed. Has all the amenities you need for a relaxing getaway, and a convenient drive to nearby shops and other sites of the beautiful Otways. Thank you Sally and Kate, for being great hosts!

Staying in this house provides a very special experience, taking you back to a different era. The kitchen is well equipped with all the spices and sauces you can think of.

Exceeded our expectations. Beautiful views and peaceful surroundings. Hated to leave! Would definitely stay again!

Nicola’s place is stunning! The surrounding views are stunning and the vibe is peaceful. Its exactly what my husband and I was looking for that weekend: an escape from busy city life. Look forward to going back again soon.
