Holiday houses in Coccomaro DI Cona

Almost everything was great, especially the kitchen and bathroom. Since Italy has stringent recycling and garbage disposal rules, it was unfortunate that the apartment did not have presort bins. Worse yet, the previous tenant lost the key card needed to dispose of miscellaneous waste (i.e. stuff that isn't simple paper, plastic, glass, or organic - which is more than one would think) so we needed to be rather creative about that. It would have been better had we been told about it ahead of time. The other oddity was that the dining table had only one chair, making it an awkward arrangement for two people. The kitchen counter had two stools but we needed that space for makeshift recycling bins. The apartment faces the courtyard which avoids all street noise but not air conditioning unit noise should you want to leave the window open. It's a 15 minute walk to the train station but 25 minutes to the old city center. However, bus service is plentiful. All in all, we would stay here again.

We were hosted very well by Anna and Carlo. The apartment is great, the rooms very nice and comfortable. The location, very close to the tourist town that can be reached in 5 minutes (San Vitale), allows you to park your vehicle nearby and forget the time to visit this splendid mosaic city. Thank you Anna, thank you Carlo.

Very nice hosts who also give you privacy. Clean place. Pool is super nice and clean, the garden is well laid out as a privacy screen. The dog Max is very sweet. We felt very comfortable. The car (also camper) can be parked on the premises. And Sergio gave us very good tips for excursions and restaurants. We will be happy to come back. Kind regards to Giancarla and Sergio.

There is no better place to stay than La Selvatica. It’s my 4th visit and I can’t stop coming back. It’s genuine, inviting, and just such a special place. If you want an authentic Italian experience this is the place.

Wow! We actually only booked the place for a stopover on our road trip, but we were totally thrilled. The spa area is super relaxing and welcoming. The suite was cozy, clean and large. The host is very friendly and accommodating. Too bad we were only here for a short time. We'll definitely be back! :) If there were several stars, I would give more than 5 :)

It was a very good choice. It was in the heart of downtown but at the same time the room was very quiet. It was very clean and the breakfast detail ( sweets, coffee, infusions,...) was very grateful😊. There are buses, restaurants and supermarkets near by. Francesco and Paolo were very nice and helped us in our doubts. We were able to leave our bags and enjoy the city more. I would repeat if I were to return to Bologna!
