Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Clayton

An awesome Airbnb hosted by great people! Gloria was super helpful and a great host. The place has everything you could wish for - we really felt at home and had a great base to explore the beautiful surroundings. We will definitely try to come back!

We had the BEST stay at Robin's mountain cabin. We had 3 families staying all together and it was perfectly set up for group dinners, hangouts, kid space, etc and we made so many great memories. The Cabin views were incredible, we loved playing outside, enjoying the hot tub or evening dinner inside with views of the mountains. While you feel secluded, you are just 10 min from Bryson City for a grocery run, shops, restaurants and more. Through the whole booking process and leading up to the trip, Robin was extremely responsive, kind, helpful and friendly - I would highly recommend her cabin to anyone traveling to the area. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

Normally I don’t leave reviews. I’m usually tired from the trip and am focusing on unpacking and resting but I wanted to take the time to say how beautiful the views are, how prime the location is- it’s close enough to Helen to go if you want but far enough away to be away from all the traffic in and out of Helen- especially at Christmas. If we needed our host he always responded and luckily we got to meet him and our entire family adored him. The deer we were able to see from the house were beautiful, our family enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub but mostly the atmosphere. We felt like we were home. We like to stay at different locations everywhere we go and with a host this amazing- we will be booking all of his other locations when we travel- one by one because he prides himself on making sure that everything is up to your standards and that you get the best experience. I highly recommend you stay here. It was our 1st Christmas with family away from home and couldn’t be happier.

Beautiful home tucked away with a large area for the kids to run and play out back. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and the main area of the home was gorgeous. Only 15 minutes to Helen!

Our stay was terrific...the home is very very nice, plenty of room and great outdoor space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We walked to town for coffee and really enjoyed our time. While there was one issue, the owner was able to step in and fix it within 2 hours - which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to spend time int he Highlands area.

Emily was very responsive and got someone over immediately when there was an issue with the heat and hot water. If I could, I'd rate 4.5 stars and not 5 because the main scenery (which is outside of the host's control obviously) is just an average residential view. Also even after the heat was fixed the first morning, we noticed there was an issue with the downstairs heat again as we were leaving. Worth noting that this was immediately after the winter storm so likely an anomaly. The mountains are most visible from the master and that view is stunning. The design of the house is EXCELLENT and even with the heating issues and lackluster view to one side, we'd stay again.

Josh's place is beautiful and very spacious. We had way more room than what we needed but took advantage of the extra space. Can't get any better than having a fire in the fire pit going while listening to the creek run behind us. It feels secluded but so close to town. We will definitely keep this place as a must rent when we visit again.

It was one of the best vacations I've ever had, a beautiful and complete house, a wonderful and peaceful place, lush landscapes, beautiful waterfalls, I want to go back to the same place in the summer to be able to enjoy the lakes better. I recommend it to everyone.

We weren’t able to stay because of a busted pipe. Tom and Christine were very accommodating offering to refund us immediately and even offered to pay for a night at a hotel. We have stayed here before so we know they are great hosts and we love their place so we will be back.

If I had to rate my stay with Greg and Karen it would be more then a 10/10. They are so kinda and considerat. My wife and I started driving up the night before so we can be in the area for early check-in and we got stopped by the snow storm. Greg and Karen reached out to warn us about the snow blocked roads. Check in day they reached out to us and kept checking in to make sure we were okay on the road. Upon check-in we were greeted by another lovely host Coco there amazing Chocolate Labrador, she is so sweet and loving. We will definitely be going back again, and we recommend this stay to everyone

Our family absolutely loved our stay at Steve and Penny’s place! It’s located in such a beautiful area. It was immaculately clean with a nice roomy, yet cozy, layout. We felt very much at home. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch and soaking up the beautiful view. Steve was very communicative, friendly and informative about the area! He made sure that we had everything that we needed, and was available if needed. He was also kind enough to share some fresh eggs with us, and also had fresh ground coffee. We will definitely be staying with Steve and Penny again, and highly recommend their place! They were excellent hosts and their place is just perfect!

This was just what we needed, it was so relaxing and peaceful. The local grocery store was great along with the restaurants and other stores in town. Your so closed to both North & South Carolina. There is a trail just down the road where you can see some waterfalls. It was a bit chilly for us Floridians but the firepit kept us warm while we were outside. We are thinking of coming back with the motorcycles to ride the twisty roads. I could sit outside and listen to the birds and the creek all day.

My husband likes to explore and we couldn't have chosen a better spot for his birthday. We had plans to drive around to various nearby waterfalls (we made it to a couple) but the mill offered so much to discover, we didn't want to leave. We loved the waterfalls, history, and trails around the site. The bed was super comfy. It's definitely quirky, we were glad to not have a TV, etc. Groceries were close by as well as parks.

So quiet and so beautiful. Cozy decor. Comfy bed. Snacks and oatmeal. Coffee on the porch swing. Lovely walk down a dirt road to see the goats and burros next door. Total serenity.

My son and I stayed for the last Clemson game of the season. It was about 20 minutes to Memorial Stadium so a nice location. Check-in was easy and we felt very comfortable and at home. Having the little kitchen was so nice as well since I had to make sangria for the tailgate the next day and was also able to store a few things in the large fridge. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Highly recommend! We will be returning in the future. It’s a great choice for just two like our trip this time or for a family or multiple couples. The location was perfectly situated between many towns that lead us to full days of adventures. The house was so homey, I felt like we were staying with a family member. Everything you could need was right at your finger tips. The hot tub and glass room had stunning views of the lake and surrounding mountains. We even saw deer right from the porch. Close to great stops like Helen, Blue Ridge, Hiawassee and Blairsville. We went to 4 towns in 4 days. Clay shooting, antiquing, great food and hiking. We even got matching tattoos a mile from the house and couldn’t be happier with Mean Machine Tattoos. These hosts were amazing and we will be telling everyone we know. Thank you Catherine!

Our stay was hit with the winter storm of the year and it just made being on the mountain that much better. It was a gorgeous seriously rustic cabin. There is a cabin up above you but far enough away you can’t really see or hear anyone. There is also a privacy fence wrapped around the back of the hottub. It’s in a perfect place to sit out and enjoy the woods. Mitch was extremely responsive and helpful at all times. He gave us a great deal on adding additional time because of the storm. The cabin was clean and had firewood, complimentary stuff to make s’mores, a grill, and all the kitchenware you need. We had the best time and will be back!

Roger is an exceptional host, he went above and beyond to assist us when there was an issue with our online booking. Cabin was very clean and had great views. Definitely plan on visiting again!!

Great location, nice and clean, and we appreciated that it was dog friendly! Perfect spot if you want to explore all that Helen has to offer.

We booked Cynthia’s place last minute on our drive back home from NYC to AL, all I can say is WOW what a hidden gem this spot is! Amazing views, absolutely beautiful property, gorgeous cabin next to a really nice babbling creek. We’re sad we couldn’t stay longer this trip but excited to book a future mountain vacation here! Don’t miss it!

We stayed at Firefly in 2016 and enjoyed the property then and now also. The property is well maintained with all the necessary utensils in the kitchen. We felt very at home while we were there and would highly recommend this property for rental vacation. (We miss the wood-burning fireplace but understand the logistics of cleaning it after each and every rental.)

Darrell & Keith were great! Darrell responded to any questions we had within minutes. The place was very clean and is exactly what you’re looking for with a cabin in the mountains. This was our first time in Bryson City, but we will definitely be back and staying at this exact spot! Highly recommend!

The cabin was very clean and cozy when we had arrived. We really enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and the secluded area. Additionally, some of the nearby hiking trails are absolutely stunning that aren't too far from the cabin.
