Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Clayton

Gloria and Bob’s lake cabin is one of the most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing places we’ve ever stayed! My wife and I went for our 1-Year Wedding Anniversary, and their place was perfect to unwind and spend quality time together. They welcomed us with such a thoughtful anniversary gift upon arrival and were incredibly accommodating to us when we had some personal car problems. The people in this town, and Gloria and Bob, are true testaments of the word “hospitality”. Highly recommend and will most certainly be back again.

This is the second time we have stayed here and it wont be the last. The house is located right behind Main Street, so you can easily walk to all the restaurants, bars, and shops. We love coming here in the winter for skiing (only 30 minutes from Cataloochee Ski Resort). The house has a hot tub and fire pit to warm up in the chilly weather. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and the house is always so clean/well stocked. I highly recommend!

The host was so responsive, the house was clean and well-equipped, and the location is to die for. This was my second stay at this property and we'll be back again!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! We loved it so much, this was our 2nd stay. Group of 13 friends just hanging out for the weekend. Things that stand out include the absolutely pristine bathrooms and the fully stocked kitchen. All the pans, utensils, cutting boards, baking pans, etc. you need. Lots of places I've been to don't have things like measuring cups but they have everything. When we had questions, response was fast. Nice common area for everyone to hang out in. Just a great place.

Emily’s home was very cozy, clean and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable and pillows were great! :) the fire pit and hot tub were also a ton of fun with the kiddos. 10 out of 10. We’ll book again next year :) -Bob

Josh's place is beautiful and very spacious. We had way more room than what we needed but took advantage of the extra space. Can't get any better than having a fire in the fire pit going while listening to the creek run behind us. It feels secluded but so close to town. We will definitely keep this place as a must rent when we visit again.

It was one of the best vacations I've ever had, a beautiful and complete house, a wonderful and peaceful place, lush landscapes, beautiful waterfalls, I want to go back to the same place in the summer to be able to enjoy the lakes better. I recommend it to everyone.

Roberts house was an excellent stay for us. They have a fully loaded kitchen with many seasonings for cooking, pots and pans of all sizes, a grill, and plenty of dishes and utensils. The house is cozy inside and out, the beds and sofas are really comfortable too. We came to visit the Tail of The Dragon which is not too far away and there is plenty of parking available on site. I would not hesitate to rent out this Airbnb again!

Mike and Karen were wonderful hosts! They greeted us upon arrival! Made us feel right at home. Even though they live above the apartment they were never intrusive and gave us our space and our privacy. They even gave us fresh eggs as we were leaving. Love the frog garden!

We celebrated my husband’s BD. It was a 5 star experience. Clean, comfortable, convenient. We look forward coming back soon!

This was my first experience staying in an Airbnb where the hosts lived above the unit, and it was a positive one!! Dave and Barb were exceptional hosts. I thoroughly enjoyed the cozy mountain getaway, our conversations, and their warm hospitality. Their space is comfortable and inviting, providing an ideal retreat after a day of hiking, mining, or exploring. My boyfriend and I rented Catherine's cabin over Valentine's Day weekend. The cabin is beautiful and the amenities amazing. We were able to easily access all areas in the house, including the hot tub! The sunroom was beautiful during a storm that passed over and made a perfect reading spot. We had a great 1st anniversary here!

We spent our anniversary at Mitch's cabin and it did not disappoint. It was comfy and private and was a great location to all we wanted to do. Plenty of waterfalls, hiking, and, small towns to visit. We enjoyed our stay very much and will be returning again.

Roger is an exceptional host, he went above and beyond to assist us when there was an issue with our online booking. Cabin was very clean and had great views. Definitely plan on visiting again!!

Cynthia's home was just what the doctor ordered! It was so peaceful, private and beautiful. I would recommend stopping at one of the grocery stores on the way in and spend your time relaxing by the beautiful creek, barbecuing and spending time with the family or for a romantic get away. There were games for the family, tons of movies and a hammock for relaxing in the beautiful surroundings. It was easy to find and no treacherous roads to take to get to this home. It was so quiet and well insulated in the home, we couldn't even hear the creek unless we opened a door or window. Thank you Cynthia for sharing your home with us!

We loved our stay! A great cabin with a beautiful view and sound of the water. Cabin was clean and cozy and Sandy had such cute touches. She thought of everything!

Darrell & Keith were great! Darrell responded to any questions we had within minutes. The place was very clean and is exactly what you’re looking for with a cabin in the mountains. This was our first time in Bryson City, but we will definitely be back and staying at this exact spot! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed the seclusion of the area & availability of helpful information in the book at the door. If you’re visiting during the colder weather like we did make sure to pack extra blankets for the beds & throw blankets for yourself & be prepared for the possibility of snow. Another useful tip is to bring house shoes to ensure comfortability of the chilly floors. We highly recommend enjoying the cozy hot tub & the amenities offered. Michelle was a very responsive & accommodating host. We will consider her properties in the future shortly. I Highly recommend GTR Adventures to rent a side by size & enjoy the trails & sightseeing. We enjoyed it so much that my husband is going to purchase one of our own. After a long day the gas grill cooked up some excellent ribeyes & made for the perfect evening accompaniment with the coziness of the home. It was perfect for our little family and we definitely enjoyed the recharge & will be back soon.
