Very comfortable house in quiet, peaceful setting. The description says it's an old house, but you'd never know it -- it's quite modern inside. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house and each have an attached bathroom, which is great for privacy. It's so quiet I didn't need earplugs to sleep. Michael gave clear instructions on everything and was very responsive. And we really appreciated not having to strip the beds or whatever before leaving. I'd definitely stay here again when in the area.

This was our second year at this location! It’s a wonderful house for families with children, well stocked, and close to the grocery store and a few other shops. Daniel is a great communicator as well.

We enjoyed our time there. It was a beautiful house and especially great for a Christmas celebration. Would definitely re-rent the house again. The location and scenery was very relaxing.

It’s difficult to put into words how incredible our stay was. We had two boys with us (6 & 10) and our 11 year old pup. Mike went above and beyond in accommodating us the entire stay. We would like to return to Mike’s lake house every year and make it a summer tradition while the kids are still young. The boat house/dock area is where we spent the majority of our time. It was huge with plenty of place to relax. The photos simply do not do the space justice. Mike had tubes and floats available for use and a sound system down by the dock. Playing music (at a respectful volume) made our stay so much more enjoyable. The depth off the dock was 10ft, which made diving into the water so much more fun, without having to worry about a mucky lake floor. The kitchen is new, as are the appliances. It does lake a dishwasher, but Mike had everything we needed to clean/dry the dishes before we departed. What a trip! We hope to be back next year if it’s still available.

I really enjoyed the space of the Airbnb. It had a cozy warm feeling to it. I liked the high ceilings and the spacious kitchen. The rooms were nice and warm. It was worth the listed price. If I ever have family coming to town I would definitely recommend the space. It was a pleasure.

Alan's place was amazing my family enjoyed the covered porch and the view of the lake the kitchen was well stocked with every appliance you may ever need we enjoyed our time there we will book again in the summer

Laurie was nice. Great communication. The place was conveniently located close to VIR. Located on a beautiful piece of property, but we spent so much time at the track that we did not get to utilize any of the amenities.

Great little house right on the lake! House was clean and very comfortable. It’s a little bit of a walk to the dock but you can see the water from the house which was awesome. Dock was great for hanging out day and night. Wish the water was deeper. Not ideal for swimming but great if you have a float. Water was probably about 4 feet and the ground was pretty mucky. Just a heads up that this isn’t the type of place where you can jump off the dock and swim. Nice for little ones to swim in though! All in all, we loved our stay! Host was very responsive too.

Comfy beds decent pillows. Quite small but cozy. The included breakfast at the restaurant is nice.

This is a very cute house, and everything about it matches the host’s description. It was squeaky clean, and I appreciated small touches like the extra toothbrushes in the master bathroom. Check-in and check-out could not have been easier. A wonderful bakery (Jenny Cakes) is within walking distance. Would stay here again!

We were delighted with our stay at this antique and historic house. This was a lovely, 100-year-old cozy white clapboard house which was separated a convenient distance from the main house. The house was furnished with neat antiques, a full kitchen, speedy WIFI, a huge TV, and a very comfy queen-sized bed. We understand that it used to be a post office for the nearby town! Jerry was an awesome host who responded within minutes to our one request. He made us feel very welcome to stay at his historic post office. We ran into him the next day at an antique auction. It was evident that we liked some of the same things! We will definitely stay again at this lovely home. Hannah and Danny

We cook a few time & found the kitchen to be well stocked. the front porch was our favorite for coffee in the morning. our dogs found the dog run perfect to play around & burn off some energy. loved sitting by the fire pit watching beautiful sunsets Fantastic cabin in the woods ❤️

We absolutely loved our stay at Jenni’s place. It’s spacious, clean, peaceful and had plenty to do for both children and adults. The kids loved the air hockey table. My sister and I had a wonderful early morning kayak trip. We all loved sitting on the back porch. We were able to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner with the pots, pans, utensils, and serving ware provided. We’ll be dreaming about our next stay!

A very quaint, peaceful lakeside retreat. We enjoyed staying here while visiting family in the area. Thank you for hosting us-we had a wonderful time! We especially enjoyed: - kitchen - private road for a 2 mile run - great view of the lake - morning sun in the living room is gorgeous this time of year (Fall)

This log lodge is a little slice of heaven. It is located in a beautiful setting of 250 acres. Very relaxing and serene. Jack was very responsive to our communication. We were fortunate to meet the other owners/hosts who gave us an amazing tour of the property. We will definitely return again!

Had a great stay very private. Had place to plug up our boat which was extremely helpful, host always responded and very helpful. Can not wait to stay again.
