The house is located in a unique historic village. Definitely go for a walk through the village . The location is great to discover the Versace valley and Lago Maggiore. The historic has been nicely renovated . All the essentials were present. It is a small and cozy house and it was perfect for us as a family for 4 nights ( 2 adults , 1 toddler, 1 dog). You can have dinner outside looking out over the valley. There is a great restaurant located next to the house. It has to be noted that parking was difficult. There is no dedicated parking for the house. One night we had to park 10 minutes down the road. Also, you have to go down quite a few steps to get to the house. Which might a challenge for less mobile people. We also struggled to find the place on the day of our arrival. The location on Airbnb is a few 100 meters off and it seems like all houses are called Rustico. However, Davide was very responsive and showed us in the right direction. Overall we had a great stay.

There were three of us on vacation with a dog in this beautiful apartment and we couldn't have met it better. The apartment has a magnificent view and is in the sunshine from morning to evening. A cozy place with soul. Simply fantastically beautiful. Elisabetta & Mattia were great hosts, with great tips on the surroundings. We recovered superbly and had feelings of spring over New Year's Eve thanks to the great location & pure sun. Clear recommendation!

What an amazing house Ivana has. Outside beautiful, easily accessible, private outdoor seating area. Inside, all expectations go above and beyond. We enjoyed the house, the surroundings and the delicious apple pie.

Spent two weeks in this lovely house. For us steep stairs and private room located outside of the building was OK, so no complains. Huge winner of the house is its location, close to the great bouldering in Brione as well as fantastic hiking that you can start straight of the house. The view is gorgeous and the village is quite and charming with all rustic style buildings. Would definitely recommend for active people who value great views and the nature nearby. A very nice accommodation with very well-kept outdoor facilities for a perfect quiet stay on Lake Como! Great for a stay with young children. We will be happy to come back once :)

since we were already here last year, of course we already knew everything. For us, the few days were very relaxing again and we would come back anytime. the apartment is spread over 3 floors but that did not bother us. also that no TV is available, we can only see as an advantage. Sometimes away from everyday life and all the luxury stuff. There are plenty of other possibilities in Ticino. That's luxury enough. Thank you, gladly again.

Even though I only spent one night there, it was a great experience. Wonderful apartment, very helpful owners, the restaurant is absolutely recommended. Even having a small issue late in the evening, it was resolved immediately. I'll definitely be back.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The house has stunning views over Locarno, Ascona and the lake. Wonderful for a few days off.

We spent 3 days on New Year's Eve 2025. Three families with kids. We had a great time. Lara welcomed us warmly at check-in and gave us all the directions to better manage the house, including a stove, jacuzzi and Finnish tub. Clean and complete environments. Super equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Spotless and comfortable rooms. Various children's games and books for moments of relaxation; availability of Sky, Netflix and Disney+. Wood and barbecue available. Priceless view of Lake Como from one side and the mountain on the other side. Great location: quite isolated to be quiet and not to bother anyone but still 5 minutes from the center of the village; less than 10 minutes away we found a very well-stocked shopping center. Really great and recommended experience, to try again in summer with the possibility of also using the outdoor pool. GREAT

What a great location and amazing host. Everything we could have hoped for. The property was as described, ideally located for everything you could want or need. Alessandra was an amazing host before, during and after our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend.

Apartment was very good,very clean and warm like at home. The ownes very friendly,they give as something from the farm for free and they respond you for everything. I have it a bad luck because was raining every day but still the place was beautiful. I recommend it.

Luca was really kind, he welcomed us and our dog in a really special way. She helped us with her luggage and gave us inspiration to visit. I highly recommend it!!

We had a great weekend stay at Samuele’s place! The view is incredible and the private garden was perfect for our dogs! The location is just a short 16-20 minute walk from the little town with beautiful nature.

Sophie is a great and very warm host who lovingly cares about the well-being of her guests. She welcomed us warmly and provided many good tips. Even when the weather didn't quite play along, she spontaneously brought us games for us and the children. Her place is very clean and cozily furnished, we lacked nothing. Great apartment in a great neighborhood. The apartment is large, cozy, well appointed and very quiet. Its a classic apartment. The location is perfect for getting around Milan. There were plenty of places to eat and there is a great market around the corner. I absolutely recommend it! It would work well as a long term stay too.

Very nice and simple accommodation and above all perfectly secure. We had everything on site to feel right at home. With a baby and child it's easy to live. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Large, very functional and perfectly clean accommodation. Many hikes in the immediate vicinity, lakes can be reached in 10 min by car. Decoration that gives a soul to the home. We had a great stay at Marco's.

We had a wonderful stay at this idyllic Airbnb in the mountains near Lake Lugano. The small Italian village exudes tranquility, perfect for switching off and relaxing. The surrounding nature with its mountains is breathtaking, and there are numerous opportunities for hikes and walks. The Airbnb itself is immaculately clean and cozy – a perfect place to get away from it all. If you are looking for peace, nature and Italian village idyll, this is the place to be. We will definitely be back!

This is a sweet cottage on a large lot with private access to the lake. It has kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and bikes. It was great to sit on the lake’s edge and just chill. Small but functional kitchen and great coffee! There is a pellet fireplace that we used one cool evening which is very nice. Bruno and Fabiola couldn’t be nicer. Bruno met us on arrival, introduced us to the place, and was always available for questions. Lago Orta is a beautiful lake and a great location that is off the usual tourist circuit. We enjoyed our time there very much.
