Very nice. Perfect location. Friendly.

I wanted a place a little out of the main hub thinking it would provide a better view of the stars. This isn't really far enough away for that, so maybe I would just stay in the center next time. This is a quick drive to the center and about a 30 minute walk. Host was responsive. Water heated via solar power. Bed and blankets were comfortable. I felt safe. Bathroom could have been cleaner. It was a little difficult to find the first time without calling. Quieter than staying in the center, if that's what you're looking for. Good value for the price.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Achuk (host)is kind and generous host and goes extra mile to make stay comfortable. Saff is helpful. Food is tasty. This is a beautiful cottage in Ladakh Eco Resort (Leh). In a peaceful location. Equipped with all modern amenities as listed. I would recommend this place and love to stay here again. Thanks

Arif is a wonderful host and a nice person. He was always proactive and did whatever it took to make our stay comfortable. He helped us by going out of the way when we were stuck in a difficult situation on one of our trips in Leh. We cannot thank him enough. The facility is located just outside the city in peaceful and serene surroundings. One can enjoy beautiful views of the snow-clad mountains. The amenities in the facility are excellent, making long stays comfortable, like the one we had for about 12 days. The food choices are great. Arif and his mother cooked very tasty meals and catered to our requests every time. On the whole, we had a great time with Arif and made him friends forever. We highly recommend his place for anyone planning a trip to Leh.

Oh my God!! If u are visiting Padum on the way to Leh or Zanskar I would highly highly recommend this homestay. Its a traditional Zanskari style home with all facilities like electricity, hot water and great views. But the thing that stands out the most is the host. Mr. Urgain is a gem of a person who could probably write a book about his personal experiences. He made us feel right at home and his stories abt trekking, his skying school, his travels and the local traditions made our trip complete. The cherry on top is his food and travel recommendations. He treated us with such simple homemade local delicacies that we never wanted to leave. I would 100% go back to stay at his place just to enjoy his company. Totally worth it...

Even though we faced water and electricity outages during our trip, caused by heavy rain, Padma and her family provided water in buckets and still prepared breakfast and dinner for us. Padma also gave us recommendations and tipps what to eat and explore. Our stay gave us enlightening insight in the life of locals which we wouldn’t like to miss. The only downside was to use the bathroom during the night or early morning which is only reachable by taking the stairs outdoors.

Since we visited during off season, no help were available but Dosang and his family made sure that we feel comfortable and all our needs are met. The rooms and washrooms were as clean as we expected and the house is located at a beautiful location. All the home-cooked food and tea were just a cherry on the top. The Bonfire in the evening was also a lot of fun. Thank you Dosang and family for making our stay comfortable and trip memorable. :)
