Dwane’s Airbnb in Edenton, NC was a fantastic experience! The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Dwane was an excellent host—very responsive and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. The location was perfect, just a short distance from my local.family The space itself was cozy and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. From the comfortable beds to the fully stocked kitchen, every detail was taken care of. Will definitely rebook.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is quiet, and the house was very clean. It is an easy walk to the main downtown area. Bed and pillows were comfortable. We didn't need them, but there were plenty of extra towels and linens. We did not cook while visiting, but it looked like there were adequate supplies of the basics if you choose to cook. We also both enjoyed reviewing the Edenton architecture book that is in the living room - I was very excited to see it, since I had already admired it at the gift shop downtown. Bryan always responded within the hour to my questions. I would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

The Gatekeeper's Cottage is a cozy, yet very spacious house. It's nicely decorated, very comfortable, and provided everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated the large variety of coffee, teas, and snacks, after a long drive across NC. The organic eggs were a nice treat too. We came to the area to see the wintering waterfowl. We appreciated the variety of maps and brochures for the local state parks and wildlife refuges. We definitely recommend this cottage.

Waterfront Apartment with Private Beach, Sleeps 7+

Like the description, it is a peaceful paradise! Outside has beautiful sunrise, and amazing open water views. We took great photos just form the front yard. Inside has artistic decorations. It is truly a unique property. The three-night stay is just too short for us to enjoy all the amenities and to have enough time to talk with Alan and Nora. Will come back again!

We had a wonderful stay! There was actually an extra bedroom that we weren't expecting but we really needed it, so that worked out perfect for us. We LOVED that the Christmas tree was still up (we visited over New Years). The house is spacious and comfortable and the view cannot be beat. The house was cheaper than renting hotel rooms nearby--we absolutely could not beat the deal. Thank you for a wonderful week!

We really enjoyed our stay at Van-Dee's place. The view is amazing and relaxing, and the house was very intimate and cozy. The house was well stocked and clean. Van-Dee was a great host and accommodated me when needed. I will definitely be a repeat renter.

Aaron’s place was exactly as advertised. My wife surprised me with a stay at this property for my graduation, and it was perfect. The house was very accommodating for my family and kids, with spacious rooms and exceptional cleanliness. Aaron was a responsive host who promptly answered all our questions. The backyard was an incredible spot to relax in peaceful surroundings. I would definitely stay at this property again!
