Family-friendly holiday rentals in Chisago County

We booked three nights to accommodate extended family coming from Chicago and Duluth to celebrate my son’s graduation from UMN. This place was perfect for us! There was plenty of room for everybody. The kitchen, open living room area, and deck worked really well for entertaining. We threw a BBQ get together for my son’s friends, a huge success in this great space. The place is very well stocked with everything we needed. We also heated up the sauna each morning to start the day! Emily was very responsive to our every need. Thank you!

This was my wife and I's 3rd time coming to stay at Jill's cabin in mid January and the trip completely lived up to our high expectations! There is nothing more relaxing than sitting in the hot tub on the back patio looking over the Willow River when snow is coming down. The cabin was cute & cozy as ever, with tons of candles and fun little lights to use while playing cribbage and relaxing. Hudson has a lot of good restaurant options for a city its size as well. 10/10 and cannot recommend this cabin more. We can't wait for our next trip next year!

I brought my small church youth group to MN and stayed at her place. Beautiful place, cozy like home, perfect place for bonding. Her details for decor and everything that we might need are just superb, amazed me. The kitchen is pretty equipped with spices, seasonings, all the stuff that we need for a short stay. My husband loveees the coffee table area, different set of coffee machine and options. The place is very spacious, just like the photos, plenty of spaces outside and inside to have a cozy afternoon with long tables. Her game boards and books along with the other amenities keeping my youth entertained and bonding with each other. Sarah will go above and beyond to help us and to ensure we rest comfortably and accomodate what we need. Her home feels like home with aesthetic touch and design from entrance to living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and basement all covered. Thanks Sarah, I truly appreciate your hospitality and your heart to serve others.

Amy Jo was a wonderful host and we felt right at home! The home was spacious and clean, the bed was comfy, and my little one had a blast playing with the toys and watching the ducks on the pond. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Wonderful retreat only 90 minutes from the Twin Cities. Very cozy cabin with efficient heating, log fire, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen and lots of reading material to while away time in the rocking chair. Felt very isolated in a wholesome way. Peaceful, we will be coming back but when there is snow on the ground and it’s -15F it’s special!

Jeannette was very proactive in providing key information on where to park, access, etc. The place was perfect! Great location for shopping and restaurants! Absolutely loved it!

We had a great time the beds and pillows were very comfortable something I always have issues finding. The house was nice and warm considering that we visited in January the coldest month of the year. I loved my stay. Parking was nice and private.

The place was beautiful and exactly what we needed for a girls weekend away! Right next to everything! Perfect little town, a true hidden gem!

Cute little cottage feel! Fenced in yard was prefect for our dog.

Within a mile of all the things to do. Maybe more curated to smaller people, was a little tough for my partner (6’4) to maneuver around. Super comfy and cozy! Would stay again!

We stayed at Jane’s place for our newly minted annual thanksgiving family gathering. It was spacious, well stocked and was exactly as advertised. There was a lake within a 3 minute walk! We will definitely be considering this for our Thanksgiving spot next year!

We had a nice stay at the apartment. It fit our needs perfectly. It was clean, had comfortable beds, and was nice for a short stay in the area.

This was our 4th stay at Mel and John’s place. One our favorite Airbnbs. Very friendly hosts who are super responsive. Apartment has a fully stocked kitchen with all you need to prepare meals. Lovely neighborhood with great access to a large park with lots of great trails and access to other parks. Easy access for the Minnesota state fair

This was one of the best airbnb experiences we have ever had. The house is beautiful -- it has old world charm, but all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, but near all corners of the city. We could walk everywhere -- to coffee shops, the river, grocery store, restaurants, bookshops, museums. The hosts were always very responsive and incredibly thoughtful the entire time. We stayed for one month and wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to return one day soon and highly recommend this home!

very nice and clean. extremely quiet. and very central to Minneapolis. easy to get o freeways and easy to navigate the entire city. would definitely use him again in the future.

Beautiful place! Very close to anything you might need. Uber was super readily available. Wonderful food all around. I recommend going during the warmer months, as Minnesota was frigid but it was an excellent and beautiful place to stay
