I stayed in Martyn's place before the race Buffalo Stampede and I could have not chose a better place. The location is central, close to the supermarket and to Sixpence. By car I could reach Mount Buffalo where I trained the most. The house has everything you need, very clean and well organised. He was also super helpful in replying to all my questions quickly. I really enjoyed staying here!

We loved our stay here!! The mountain views were incredible and we enjoyed cooking on the fire. The yurt was also very cosy and the rustic wood fired bath and facilities only added to the whole experiences. Sharon was a great host and gave clear instructions on how to get there. We would love to come back!

After about 3 weeks on the road with a van this place was perfect to just stay put for a bit longer and explore some hikes around Mount Buffalo and just relax. I added an extra night without a problem as I was just not quite ready to move on The kitchen was very well equipped. All rooms were immaculately clean. Great value for money! I highly recommend staying here.

We spent Christmas at Priscilla’s place and it was amazing! The house is in such a good location - it is peaceful and quiet yet able to walk to town within 10mins. The house itself had so much going for it - highlights for the kids was definitely the trampoline and all the kids toys/books. For the adults it was the welcome gift of local coffee and red wine. Not to mention the very very comfortable beds! Thanks so much for having us and making it such a special Christmas Priscilla!

Stayed with Chas over the Australia Day weekend. Lovely little cottage, gorgeous views, walking distance to Whitfield and 5 min to a swimming hole at Gentle Annie. An added bonus were breakfast provisions and a coffee machine. The best part was the hammock - watching the sunset and then stargazing over a glass of complimentary Prosecco (a lovely touch). Appreciate all the local intel on wineries and attractions. Will definitely stay with Chas again!

We spent a lovely weekend celebrating our daughter’s birthday. Ideal location with stunning views of Mt Buffalo. Easy drive into Porepunkah and Bright. Lovely menagerie of animals too, alpacas, horses, chicken, a pig and four cats ! Dog friendly as well. Thoroughly recommend.

We loved our stay in this beautiful cottage. It had everything one could wish for for a pleasant stay and was very spacious, including a big, secure yard for our dogs. Anthony's recommendation for the nearby Jones vineyard and restaurant was very appreciated, we had a lovely lunch there. Great stay!

The snowgum chalet was absolute serenity. A very peaceful and romantic get away for me and my partner. The only noise was from the ducks and birds which we loved. Very private and secluded. Pool was cold but the hot spa made up for it. Wendy was very accomodating and efficient in her responses. Thankyou for having us - beautiful weekend :)

Even though there’s two other dwellings on the property you definitely feel like there’s plenty of privacy due to the greenery around the place. We stayed in the property for a wedding that was being held locally, and it was the perfect place for multiple couples to be able to lodge. The dual living spaces allowed everyone to relax but not be all in the one space, and the property was nicely located close to town for groceries and local coffee runs. The only thing that was a little surprising were the security cameras that have been installed in the living areas of the property. I can’t find any reference or warning on the listing or booking documents that there would be surveillance in the property. Guests who are very careful of their privacy may find this offputting. I’m not sure if they’re monitored or not, it wasn’t mentioned anywhere. Aside from that, the property was a wonderful stay and would be a great place for multiple families with kids to holiday, or a big family to spread out and have plenty of space to not drive each other nuts (too much haha!).

We had a wonderful stay! The home was perfect for a family with kids — spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The location was peaceful and secluded, surrounded by beautiful nature, which made for a very relaxing getaway. Alex was incredibly helpful and suggested some great local activities that the whole family enjoyed. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet retreat with easy access to fun things to do nearby!
