Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Chico

This is our new Airbnb of choice for visiting family in Chico. The location is great: private and quiet residential neighborhood next to Bidwell, easy access to all parts of town, local grocery stores, etc. The house itself is fantastic for families- 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The house is SO CLEAN, instructions everywhere for items. Great furnishings: comfortable couches and beds, nice towels, amenities, fully stocked kitchen ware. Clean and empty garage for us to park in. The house doesn’t really feel like an Airbnb because it’s so nicely furnished, it’s like staying at a friend’s house! We visited in the winter so did not use the backyard but the pool and sitting area outside are so inviting! Great technology throughout the house- AC, WiFi, TVs, etc. Everything was top notch. The home is close to all of Chico’s fun downtown and restaurants and such. Easy check in and out. Very helpful and communicative host! The house could do with some homey elements added for comfort, but as a stopping point at night it fits the bill.

My family absolutely loved Caleb's place. They did an amazing job converting their garage, you would never had guessed it was anything other than a mother's studio. The way the entire place flows from living to kitchen to bathroom it just is amazing. During our stay the boys were outside and Caleb offered for them to enjoy the adorable tree house out front. The neighborhood quiet and peaceful, the neighbors very friendly and helpful a very nice community. With a very nice park at the end of the road for the kids and dogs to enjoy. Hands down we would love to visit again. plenty of space for our family of four and very pleasant. And the coffee bar an excellent accompaniment to the entire experience. Great job Caleb! This was a very nice stay! The house was cozy, quiet, and clean. The host responded very quickly to all of our messages. (We just ran out of soap) and they delivered within hours. If I’m ever visiting Chico again I will definitely look this place up. Honestly one of the best rental house experiences I’ve ever had.

We loved our stay! It was bigger than the pictures made it look! We were close to downtown Chico and the park, with tons of great places to eat within walking distance. Instructions were clear and easy. Would stay here again to see family.

Jenny is an incredible host. Her place is inviting, warm, welcoming, and the perfect retreat. She goes above and beyond for her guests, and I always feel like I’m in a home away from home. I’ll be back!

The huge backyard was a fantastic space for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors, and the pool was a bonus. It’s perfect for families or anyone who enjoys a little extra room to unwind. The host was truly excellent—super responsive, welcoming, and thoughtful in ensuring we had everything we needed. The location couldn’t have been better, close to local attractions, restaurants, and transportation, yet still quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great stay!

We really enjoyed staying at Kailin's place. We had 4 adults and 3 children and the space was perfect. As it was wet and cold outside (December) when we were there, we didn't make use of the nice backyard and eating space. The inside was great and we had plenty of room for our group. It was nice having access to a laundry. Bidwell Park nearby is a beautiful place for walking and enjoying the surrounding area. Kailin's response time was amazing. We would be delighted to stay here again!
