Holiday rentals with a kayak in Chickamauga Lake

John and Dave were very helpful and accommodating.

Very quiet, out-of-the-way place. I was there when the lake was down (December) so I didn't get to enjoy the dock, but it looks nice and functional. The recreational room downstairs had a pool table, dart board, and a place to play checkers. The entire place has been remodeled recently. It looks great and everything works! The Host was always quick to answer questions. Would come back again!

My family and I stayed at Gilbert’s cabin for the Christmas Holidays and really enjoyed it. The cabin sits on a large piece of land, so even though there are neighbors it feels very private. It was very quiet and the fire pit outside was the perfect place to stargaze. The cabin is only 10-15 minutes to downtown Blue Ridge and there are also plenty of hikes nearby as well. We would love to come back in the summertime and enjoy the lake!

My friends and I have stayed at Glenn’s twice a year for the last 5 years. We keep coming back because it is perfect for our needs. There plenty of bedrooms and beds, it is well furnished, it is easy driving distance to restaurants and attractions and there is plenty of space for 4 or 5 (or more) of us. It was really cold all week so we really did not want to get out. We stayed warm and comfortable in the house and we had everything we needed to prepare meals there. We plan to be back in the summer. Glenn is super easy to work with.

We absolutely loved our stay. The kids never got bored for a second because of all the activities and games provided so we were really able to relax and enjoy our vacation. We would love to go back there again. Truly was a relaxing retreat at Waters Edge..

Angela went beyond all needs , everything is there!!!!! games for kids , craft, games for adults, hot chocolate corner , pet toys blankets ,etc etc... and the most appreciated , everything is so clean, which i really appreciated . they were so friendly also we had a great time at their place , and i could not thanks enough to them for sharing it with us !! can not wait to go back in another season thanks again!! Nathan’s place was absolutely breathtaking and stunning. We visited family for Thanksgiving and the kitchen had everything we needed and then some. The space was so peaceful. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. You can tell a lot of time and care went into creating this space. Would absolutely visit again and recommend it for other people in the future.

We had a great time in this tiny house! It was super clean. Everything was in good working order. The kitchen was well stocked and organized. The mattresses are high quality and very comfortable! Abby checked on us during our stay and asked if we had questions or needed anything. The attention to detail was excellent! Drawers were labeled and local recommendations were posted on the fridge. We will be back and probably bring our dog next time!

Our stay at the cabin was wonderful! It is nestled in the perfect spot, being not too far away from Chattanooga if you’re looking to go into the city. I highly suggest staying here, we had a great time!

Was looking for a quiet place out of town to get away with the hubby for a weekend and this was just perfect. Chattanooga is about a 35 minute drive depending on where you’re going. The house is spacious and open yet cozy and home like. There are a few other houses nearby but it was quiet and peaceful. Place is newer and clean and can tell the owners put thought into preparing it for those staying. Thank you for having us at your home!

By far, one of my favorite places to stay!! You couldn’t ask for a more beautifully designed space, with every last detail considered. We are already making plans to come back in the fall.

It was a great stay for us and our friends. It was perfect for kids as well. The home was warm during the winter storm we encountered. There were even food supplies in case of emergency. Then the view of the lake was gorgeous and so picturesque. We will definitely come back and hope to see it in the summer for some fishing.

This beautiful cabin was perfect for a large family! The view was incredible and the environment was welcoming and very clean! We especially loved the thoughtfulness of the s’mores kit for the kids! Russell was very prompt in responding and making sure we had all the details for our stay! The local grocery mart is about an hour away, so it was helpful he noted that in the description so we could stop and get all of our groceries before heading to the cabin. There were plenty of kitchen supplies, a clean hot tub, board games and a large dining table that the entire family could enjoy. The dock and kayaks were in great shape, great fun to fish! We look forward to visiting this home again. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful experience! Everything was exactly as advertised and Sandy communicates very quickly and effectively. There was one small maintenance issue and Sandy had someone there to correct it within 1 hour of check-in. Very impressive. The one comment I would make to future renters - the final mile of the drive is gravel with large washed out areas. Anyone in an SUV or truck will have no issues at all. However, any car with low suspension may have difficulty navigating the final mile. We visited immediately after a heavy amount of snow and ice which I would assume affected the road more than normal. Just check with Sandy first.

We booked this lovely place for a girls weekend and it did not disappoint!! The cabin is beautiful, surroundings amazing and the sunset view from the deck breathtaking. We had 8 ladies and were very comfortable. We only left the property once to go hiking and that was only a few miles away. The kitchen was well stocked and the fireplace very cozy. The hot tub was warm and ready for us to climb in. Cathy was a pleasure to work with. We will definitely be back soon.

The amenities expanded the experience beyond the cabin, and while it was too cold to fully enjoy the outdoor activities, the views by the water were breathtaking. The game room was a huge hit, and the layout allowed for both togetherness and quiet moments. The location was ideal, close to Ellijay and not far from Blue Ridge. The host’s dedication to this property was evident, making us feel welcome and at home. We spent most of our time at the cabin, and it was the perfect getaway. We’ll definitely be back!
