We had an excellent family get together here. Plenty of space and the house has all the amenities you could need. Great location for exploring Bakewell and surrounding area. Ben was an excellent host.

Terry was very helpful and responsive. The Forge is very quaint, its clean but not pristine (decor is aging) but homely and comfortable. My parents found it a little difficult as the sofas are very low., and the downstairs bedroom option is only a sofa bed so wasn't suitable for them as I had hoped. But there was room for everyone and it was lovely and warm. Kitchen well stocked for Christmas cooking, although there are no numbers left on the cooker dials so that was a bit of guess work. The parking was a bit irritating as only one space at the cottage so loading and unloading of multiple cars was messy. Chinley is a fantastic location with lovely views, ample shops and pubs for all the basics and a nature reserve where you can let the dogs off lead. A great place for large families to come together to cook and eat together, various comfort levels for the beds which were basic, bathroom facilities very basic/dated. This large house was a Christmas Blessing to our family

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Extremely clean. Great location. very relaxing property to stay in for a weekend away. Would recommend to family and friends.

Stayed here while visiting family in the area with my family with two kids. Nightmare trip up from London but Rob was very accommodating lives locally & was there to greet us very late in the evening. Amazing house. Pictures don't give it justice. Was away from everything but not to far. Amazing heating system & decent sized rooms. Very modern appliances. Would definitely stay again.

Had a lovely weekend in Jackie’s beautiful cottage. It had everything we needed and was finished to the highest of standards. The welcome pack was an added bonus. The village of Youlgreave was very pretty with stunning walks from the doorstep. The cafe next door was a little gem and we had a lovely meal in the pub next door. All in all a perfect chilled winter weekend and we would definitely return.

This was our third stay here. The house is perfect for us with everything you need and more. Bethan is a very thoughtful and generous host and we'll be back.

Our family catch-up of three generations was wonderful at this beautiful and tranquil Coach house. The hosts were away but couldn’t do enough for us. The use of the pool, sauna and tennis court was incredible. Walking the stunning grounds and being able to walk into the forest was another plus. So many lovely treats were left for us, I think this is the best place we have stayed at, 100% perfect!

I loved spending Christmas at this caravan. It was beautifully warm and cosy in a gorgeous location with lots of excellent walking routes. Lovely hosts make you feel so welcome too.

It was my first time using Airbnb, and Izzy set a standard that others will find hard to beat. The cottage beautiful was well situated and with Izzy’s list of recommendation we had a great time. I’d definitely look to come back!

I came here with a large group of people and we fit perfectly. What a perfect location, right in the center of Bakewell and surrounded by beautiful walks. Really well stocked kitchen as well.

Great place in a lovely location. Only 5 minutes from Bakewell but felt beautifully peaceful. House was lovely and kitchen was well equipped. Pool and games facilities were also a great addition. Thanks for a lovely stay

Our first Air bnb experience and Karen made it a delight from start to finish. With my inability to use the app she was patient and supportive. The communication was amazing and the property could not of been easier to find. The property was spotless and so peaceful!! Thano you Karen!!

We had an amazing week here over Christmas. Very spacious, immaculately clean with great social spacing. Outside space also amazing, with your own hot tub, swim spa and shared sauna. All of these were used and enjoyed by my family. James has really thought of everything to make the house a home from home. We would definitely go back! We drove to Matlock a few times , just a 10 minute drive. Visited a few local pubs, and we had some lovely walks. When we checked out we stopped off at chatsworth house, had a lovely breakfast and admired the views! Definitely worth a visit! Stunning.

Lovely converted barn, located a short drive from buxton and ideal for exploring the peak district. Property exactly as described and how it looked on the pictures. Loved the hot tub and sauna, made for a very relaxing stay!

We had a great stay here for the weekend. The house is lovely and cosy and has been done to a great standard. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to make use of the garden due to the weather, though in the summer months I can imagine that adds even more to the property. Sophie has left some recommendations which were really helpful and our meal at The Star at Cotton was particularly nice. Thanks for a lovely stay!

What a fabulous little cottage right in the heart of the country and walkable to The Talbot Inn which serves amazing food and great ambience. We absolutely loved our stay and even though it is a small place it worked for the 3 of us and our dog! Kelly is an excellent host always responsive and offering advice and suggestions. Emma's place was perfect for my 2 night stay. It was comfortable, warm, clean and secure. I slept like a baby here! I was on a training weekend in Derby so the location of Emma's place was ideal for me. My dog settled well in the house too.

We had a wonderful stay at Sam and Annie’s place. The cottage is so spacious for two people, and was very comfortable. Lots of hot water and plenty of firewood to keep the fire going. Just down the road from the Monsal Trail, we enjoyed walking into Bakewell and exploring the area. The local pub does great food too! We would happily return. Sam and Annie were always reachable and willing to help with whatever we needed. Thanks again!!

Perfect stay in Longnor, Wendy's cottage is beautiful and we had a lovely stay. Wendy's instructions and recomendations made our trip easy.. ideal location to visit the Peak district!

Another amazing stay. Everything you need is there. Extremely cosy and private. The extras in the fridge were a lovely treat. We will definitely return to stay again!
