Cabin holiday rentals in Chester

We had a relaxing stay! The cottage was much closer to the road than expected though was in a quiet location with minimal traffic and wasn’t a concern for us. It rained all weekend so we didn’t get to enjoy the yard as much as we had hoped though staying inside was cozy by the fire.

Ashley's place was a wonderful spot to getaway! we celebrated my friends 40th birthday there and had a blast. We went out on an ATV ride as there are lots of trails around! The view was absolutely beautiful!

Loved our stay and had a magical night with some snow while we were outside using the hot tub. We loved the vibe of the inside being able to lounge by the fire listening to the record player! We will be back

Justine's place was exactly what I needed for a relax and unwind getaway. The place was spotless, so cozy and peaceful. I'm already looking forward to booking again in the future :)

We had a lovely stay with Priyanka! The hot tub really is the star of the show - so peaceful and relaxing with incredible views! Would recommend for a romantic couples weekend away :)

This beautiful spot is exactly as pictured. When we arrived the host had cleared the ice and snow from the decks, entrances, and walkways (which could have been no easy feat!) The inside was warm and clean and there was wood in the fireplace ready to light! The hot tub was amazing. It is electric but you can use the attached wood stove (which we did and it was perfect). The first night was windy and cold -18 🥶 But we braved the hot tub anyway! The second night the wind died down and was much more calm albeit still freezing and the hot tub was perfect at 40 degrees (with the help to the wood stove!) We had the best, relaxing Valentine’s weekend getaway and couldn’t have asked for anything better! The hosts were friendly and informative. There is a reference guide (with video and picture instructions) for how to use all the different amenities! The natural light in the home was perfect and we could use the shades to create the best lighting for us. 10/10 would stay again!

Our second summer stay was just as wonderful as the first. More familiar this time, so the whole family felt right at home. Chris was once again very warm and welcoming in his communications. Look forward to our third stay next year if we can be so fortunate.

This place had me as soon as I walked in. Loved the decor and cosy feel. Very calming with all the windows especially looking out over the lake. Cannot brag this spot up enough. Just loved everything about it. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us and were very quick to respond if I had a question. Truly wonderful spot.

Cabin was homey, comfortable, clean and had everything you would need. Area was quiet with privacy, a large deck, beautiful yard with hammock, loungers and a chair swing by the water. Playground is well maintained and safe. The lake was the highlight of our stay! There is a small beach area to wade into the water or you can jump right off the dock. The water is calm, warm and very clean. We spent all day swimming, out on the paddle boat or canoes. If you go into the cove in the boats you can find painted turtles and frogs. There were no mosquitoes as we were outside all day and night by the fire pit. On rain days the screened in porch was great for meals and games of cards. The cabin had a bunch of boardgames and movies we could enjoy. Denis is very welcoming, a great host and respectful of your stay. We had a really wonderful time.

We had a lovely three-night stay at cottage #1. We travelled as two adults with two small children (ages 2 and 6). The cottage was clean and well-equipped with kitchen gadgets, dishes, utensils and cooking supplies, plenty of linens, and even a drawer of board games and colouring supplies that our kids really appreciated. We were happy to have the BBQ and fire pit to use as well. The amazing beach is literally right across the street, as well as the Quarterdeck restaurant. It was very convenient especially with two kids to just be able to walk across the street and access beach fun and a meal if we wanted. Check-in was very easy with a door code provided before our arrival, and Eric and Dawn kindly checked on us via message daily to ensure we had all we needed. I would highly recommend this cottage to others. Thanks for the great stay!

The place was very cozy and comfortable, even during a winter storm, Cindy was also very quick to respond and very helpful in getting us there! Everything was cleared before we got there and before we left, making the trip even easier for us! Would highly recommend

Great location and spot, I would love to go back again sometime. It is a place that you need to go for about 2-3 days. It was raining 🌧️ the whole time I was there but still nice.

Cosy cabin in a tranquil location. If you like a peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle of modern day living this is the place for you.

This cozy rustic cabin is a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. We spent two nights here and our stay was wonderful! The cabin is well equipped with everything you would need. The hosts, Sarah and Peter, are super welcoming and friendly! Their pup Tilley was a super cute add on to our visit:) You can enjoy a few trails around the cabin. Also, the night sky is absolutely gorgeous if you like star gazing.

To say we were satisfied is an understatement. We most definitely will be booking again to utilize in the summer season. We rented this time to be closer to the venue holding my sons wedding, and having such a wonderful home and hosts made is so much easier on us ❤️

We enjoyed our stay. We arrived late in the evening so we missed the sauna open hours, but were pleased with the beautiful room/cabin. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom spotless and we slept well. We were able to enjoy the sauna in the morning which was a great start to the day. The grounds were well cared for and Black Forest Cabins is a perfect name for the place. We spoke to the caretaker in the morning and she was welcoming and guided us to a nearby coffee shop. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely return.

LOVED the Fish Store so much! Great views of the water, great hospitality, great fires with sounds of the ocean, cozy atmosphere. Great paradise away from home! Laura and Jeff were very welcoming and hospitable!

James’ cottage was even more beautiful than the pics. Tons of space for our group of 6 & the entire place was spotless. We recommend this cottage to everyone, we had an amazing stay.
