Holiday rentals with lake access in Chesil Beach

Clean, cosy and comfortable and still feels new. Good shower and comfy beds (although my 5’6 son said the single bed was a bit short and narrow for him - the only issue as everything else was perfect). The holiday park is quiet and well maintained, we enjoyed the heated pool and dog walking area around the fishing lake. The pygmy goats are so cute!

Wow! Rhian’s house was absolutely perfect. So many lovely, thoughtful complimentary bits and bobs and the house was immaculate. Plenty of towels, kids plates and cups, lots of crockery and cooking bits. Rhian has thought of everything and couldn’t have been more accommodating with any requests we had. Silverlake itself has so much to offer and you won’t be short of things to do. The heated outdoor pool was a hit for us even though it was 2 degrees outside! The hot tub was an added bonus too. We loved our stay, thank you so much for having us!

Great host, very responsive. Would highly recommend this Airbnb - beautiful house in a lovely location with the plenty of coastal walks and the beautiful Branscombe beach only a short drive or 40 min walk. Jurassic Saunas was a highlight but definitely need to book ahead as it’s very popular!

We had an amazing weekend at the cottage! It was the perfect setting for our weekend away! So cosy and surrounded by amazing walks and pubs. Also James and Jane were the best - so helpful and friendly. Definitely would recommend!

The brewery house was perfect for our family Christmas we all enjoyed the house and the location. Great beach and the anchor pub at seatown was very good excellent food and local beer. The house was spacious and comfortable with a log burner and under floor heating plenty of room for 6 or 8 people, we would definitely stay here again, host Eddie very friendly and informative 👍

I had such a lovely birthday weekend! The place was super clean, well equipped and so cosy with the fireplace. The hot tub is a nice touch too and great walks nearby for the doggies. Nicola was so accommodating and helpful.

What a fabulous place to stay. The house is spacious and so beautifully furnished. It was spotless with everything you need to immediately relax. Mel made us all so welcome in her communications and the welcome package was such a kind gesture. The house is so well located and I would highly recommend a visit. I would agree with many of Mel’s reviews that this house is one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in.

Lovely tractor house to stay in. Has all the things you’d expect in a studio flat. Not very accessible if you don’t have a car fyi (not a fault of the place at all) but otherwise lovely.

This property has got to be in the best position right on the sea front. Everything on your doorstep including the beach. The flat is deceptively spacious and has pretty much everything you need and more. Don is a legend and from the moment I booked this flat nothing was too much trouble and very informative. can't wait to go back!!!

We needed a peaceful and off the grid stay and that is exactly what we got. The place is next to two lakes and surrounded by nature. A bit cold for us to take advantage of the water but a reason to come back in the summer. The perfect hosts that were flexible with a last minute check out request from us. A great base to also see The Purbecks and the sounding area. 10/10

The caravan’a main living area felt much more spacious than we imagined and there was quite a good sea view. It was right by the amenities yet still quiet. Parking was a little tricky but we have a big car and you can always use the main car park which always had spaces and felt very safe. Lovely resort with friendly, helpful and professional staff.

What a lovely peaceful location overlooking the lake! All arrangements and communications were great and Frederick made sure we were settled with friendly information about the property and area. The flat had all the home comforts, was well presented and clean and we really enjoyed the views whilst dining and relaxing! The added bonus of safe parking and the flat being in walking distance from everything ensured we had a very relaxing stay!

Stayed here for a few nights, lovely caravan in a peaceful location, close to wellington(4 miles). There are pubs nearby with food available. The caravan itself was lovely, plenty of room for family, nice double bed and 2 singles. Fridge freezer which had a pint of milk in on arrival, there was some tea and coffee left out also. Basically very nice. we have since rebooked for a couple of months time.

We had a lovely weekend stay at The Milkshed; it was a very peaceful spot which was private and welcoming. Katie provided great instructions to get to the property and for check in. The place itself is impeccably clean and we loved the hot tub after a days’ exploring. Very good location for heading to the coast, around 25 minutes down to Lyme Regis which we love. We would recommend this place 100%, thanks for being great hosts!

What a pristine, beautiful place. We decided very last minute to have a couple of nights away and we couldn’t have chosen better. The Kelpers Barn is just as shown, tranquil, cozy, with amazing views and is immaculate. The house had everything we needed and some. Tim and Debbie were super quick to respond to any queries and popped in to make sure we had everything we needed. It is slightly off the beaten track but equally very easy to get to some great pubs, walks and points of interest. It is without question somewhere we would love to come back to.

I cannot recommend Fisherman's Lodge more ... we loved our weekend there. The most beautiful location and fantastic little converted barn. Our children wanted to move in forever. We went for wonderful walks, visited the fantastic Beckford Arms and Messums. It was paradise. Bee and Ralph were the perfect hosts and check in and out couldn't have been easier.

The cottage was the perfect base for us in Dorset. It was cozy and warm with lots of character and there so many great amenities. Esther was a wonderful host, offering a super list of recommendations and options for activities and places to visit and eat during our stay. The place was really clean and comfortable, access was easy, and communication great! We would love to return one day!

Incredible location and incredible hosts. James and Emma were so lovely and helpful. The place is straight out of a movie. Can’t recommend it enough, specially for couples looking for a romantic and relaxing getaway.

The lovely cottage was spacious and well appointed with everything you could need for a relaxing break. Set in a wonderful peaceful location but only a short drive to the M5 and ideally located for the north and south coasts and many picturesque places to visit. Theresa and Derek were very hospitable, making you feel welcome from the start, Karen made a lovely cake for me as I'd mentioned my visit was to coincide with my 60th birthday. You get full use of the pleasant garden and all it's facilities and is a real home from home, I'd certainly return again.

Abby's place truly felt like a home from home the moment we stepped through the door. Only staying here 3 days, was not enough...as there are so many lovely walks, and in the area. The views are absolutely stunning, and i would call this place a real hidden gem. A couple of lovely local pubs in the area, and can recommend the food at The Lord Nelson! We took a drive to Lyme Regis for the day too which is a 40 minute drive away. A beautiful view from the french windows right outside our door of the lilly stream, and a friendly cat that came to hang out with us....not to mention I could have spent 3 days alone wandering around the magical garden! I would love to come back again soon. Thank you to your husband for showing us around and settling us in.

We had a great stay at the Hideaway, such a beautiful, peaceful & unique place! Every window has a beautiful view of the countryside, you feel like you're in the 'middle of nowhere' but you're really not, there's so much to do within a short drive, Sherbourne & Weymouth were our favourites. The accommodation was well equipped with everything we needed, especially for our 2 year old son. The hot tub was lovely & so easy to use, if you switch all the lights off you get an amazing view of the stars. I would fully recommend this to anyone that likes peach & quiet in a stunning location.
