The accommodation, location and facilities were perfect for a special birthday weekend for a party of 13... The house easily accommodated everyone, with plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was a superb focal point for a weekend of celebration and having access to multiple fridges was ideal. Outside, the natural pool was fabulous, as was the sauna, patio area and garden.. There are lovely walks from the house and a great local pub within reach. Very helpful neighbours on hand, if needed. Tim was an excellent host and this is a perfect setting for a special occasion.

Really lovely stay in the Manor House for a family gathering for a surprise 40th birthday, the house is beautiful has everything you would need, lovely cake and fizz on arrival. And house beautifully decorated for Christmas which just added to it :)

A fantastic family long weekend. The house is great for large groups with plenty of entertaining space and facilities in addition to the fab pool and hot tub.

We recently enjoyed a fantastic 4 nights family reunion, and we couldn’t be happier. Doreen was friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, making us feel right at home. The property is very spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to relax. We were pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen and pantry fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, cups, and glasses. One of the highlights was the amazing fire pit, beautifully surrounded by trees and lights, creating a magical ambiance at night. Doreen always refilled wood for cozy fires each evening. We also loved the swimming pool with its clean water and perfect temperature, and the hot tub provided a relaxing retreat after a day of fun. Overall, our experience was great, We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Thank you again, Doreen and Peter, for being such great hosts and making our stay so memorable!

We had a fantastic weekend away. The house was perfect for a weekend away with friends. Only 5 minutes drive to the town centre/ train station. We really enjoyed the pool area and cinema in particular. Easy check in and Gary was quite to respond. Highly recommend.

The Barn was exactly as described and from the moment we walked in, felt homely and welcoming. Mike was incredibly helpful and always available if required. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a wonderful place to stay and having access to a private pool made our stay even more special. Had such a lovely weekend here for my mums 60th! The cottage was beautiful, and Emma was excellent, really communicative, proactive and provided easy instructions for getting to the property. Emma also went above and beyond to provide some lovely touches for my mums celebration! The barn itself was so cozy, games room was a bonus and overall had everything you need for a great weekend away. We’ve recommended to everyone and hope to return again in the future 😍

We have stayed at numerous Airbnb’s, finally we have found one that matches the description. In fact the lodge exceeds the description. Jo was friendly and approachable. Kept in touch prior to the stay and available throughout. The lodge is set in the grounds of the family home. The grounds are lovely and add to the experience. The lodge itself is laid out perfectly from the open plan living/kitchen area to the spacious bedrooms, large bathroom and an upstairs snug which overlooks the garden and park. Super clean! Not a water mark or dust anywhere. The bedding smells fresh and is ironed. Tasteful furniture and decor. TV’s in each room. Overall we felt the lodge had a lovely homely feeling. It was a perfect stay. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Jo & Jules.

What a fantastic stay for our little family of 6! Great location and price! Clean house and 3 bathrooms! We loved it and will definately book again in the future! Nice and quiet area.

We had chosen this place as it was a ten minute drive to the arts and music festival we were attending. The house is lovey and spacious, on a quiet street but very easy to get to Salford and Manchester. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a comfortable place to stay.

Very good stay, even when something was needed it was sorted quickly. Good location for pub and easy to get into town or other local areas.

I am so grateful to Sophie and Richard for being such fantastic hosts for our staycation. The house was so stunning and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and plates so we didn’t have to bring anything. The views of the surrounding area are lovely as well. There was a lovely bottle of Prosecco waiting for us which was a nice surprise. Overall 10/10 experience!

My second time staying, for a quick business trip. Perfect location and the host is really helpful. The place is very clean and tidy, close to amenities.

Great stay in lovely cottage. Michael was very proactive in providing information prior to the stay and gave a lot of information including parking, access, and contact details. the cottage was as described, had great features and all amenities that I needed for a stay.

We had a fab time over New Year and loved the local area, especially Chester. Jacob was an ace host and super responsive to an issue we had (someone was round in less than 30 minutes!!). Highly recommended!

My friends and I had a wonderful time here. We stayed for a concert at the Co Op arena so this was a decent location though it’s not close to the main center. Uber is a five min drive away from the arena so that was helpful. The super spacious place was lovely and clean, fully equipped, perfect for what we needed. I’d love to come back.

Great location for a quick walk into the city, convenient for a gig at the Academy. Practical house with thoughtful amenities such as breakfast, snacks, and milk provided, and a comfortable bed. Ali is a great host, excellent communication, overall a perfect place for what we needed!

Thanks for a lovely stay Stephen, the house was modern, clean and in a great location. Little touches like milk, tea and coffee, along with shower gel and shampoo etc showed everything had been thought of for our short break. Stephen was really responsive and helpful throughout the course of the booking, would stay again!

Our second stay at George’s place and certainly won’t be our last. Great host, extremely friendly and accommodating. The house is perfectly located for ease of access to Blackpool via the tram, and yet far enough away from the centre to relax on an evening, quiet morning strolls or runs on the beach to Lytham st Annes etc. can’t recommend highly enough.

Woow!! All I can say is this place was beautiful! The kids felt at home with the amazing play room. The bedrooms were very clean and smelt lovely. They left us a hamper of breakfast stuff and essentials that are easy to forget at home. I will be booking this place again very soon. I didn't want to leave 😂 Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience.
