Cabin holiday rentals in Chautauqua Lake

Beautiful, hidden gem! Perfect for a family getaway. Everyone enjoyed having their own space to retire to while the main cabin was perfect for meals, playing cards, and watching football.

As in other reviews be prepared for sulfur water. The sulfur smell is horid. However, i believe the owner has done everything he can to try to elevate it. Filters work well but they need constant flow or they can be bad instead of good. I developed rash from it. I read reviews and knew about it well in advance. The place is very comfortable and quiet location. If you listen carefully you can hear the click clock of amish on the roads. The electric heaters heat the property astonishingly well. This week we had nearly 30 inches of snow. We were sick of the snow for sure. Plenty of grocery stores and shopping nearby. Restaurants as well. Beds feel hard at first but slept like baby. No stains on sheets etc as others pointed out. Over all enjoyed our stay. IF YOUR SKIN IS SENSITIVE TO SULFUR NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. UNTIL A PERMANENT SOLUTION IS FOUND FOR THE ISSUE. We will probably rebook in 25.

Good place for a couple. Nice and secluded area and the hot tub was nice to use.

We loved our stay. It was beautiful, quiet and relaxing. Everything was clean and tidy and comfortable. The host is very responsive. He checked in regularly because of snowfall and plowing needs and we appreciated that! We would love to stay here again.

Cynthia's home provided amazing views and beautiful sunsets. Our family vacation was memorable because of all the spaces indoors and outdoors that enabled us to appreciate the lake and natural surroundings. Cynthia was responsive to all of the little questions that popped up and we got to take advantage of so many restaurants and fun activities on Lake Erie and Lake Chautauqua. Our family of ten would stay again in a heartbeat!

I am a primitive camper, backpacker, hiker lover, so off grid cabin definitely caught me eye. The Stargazer cabin was the perfect little stop on our NY adventure! The cabin was so cozy and decorated just right for the season. It was very comfortable and quaint. There was a small wall propane heater (do not remember that being mentioned in description, but perhaps I overlooked that), it kept the cabin nice and toasty. I would definitely recommend this stay for vacationers of all seasons!! I would definitely stay again. Communication with Angela and her husband was very good.

We enjoyed staying at David’s place very much. The house was dated but clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook for a big family. We enjoyed the game room very much. The pellet fireplace was a nice touch to make the room warm and cozy. Location was great as it was only 9 minutes drive to Ellicottville and 11 minutes to Holiday Valley. David was quick to respond to any problems. Would definitely recommend.

The many simple touches of the season throughout the area & cabin ! Made you feel like you were home .Everything you need is there. Our furkids really enjoyed relaxing, sniffing, exploring the surroundings. Absolutely peaceful country setting. They have it all , every detail covered and more. Plus it's located in the center of many attractions. What a great mini vacation! Celebrating our Anniversary and NewYears 2024 in one. We will return in the summer. Thank you Leigh & Matt

This was the perfect space for our low-key NYE's getaway. We fell in love with the cottage the moment we walked in - such good vibes. The weather was unfortunately pretty awful so we weren't able to use the outdoor spaces much but the inside was so cozy and comfortable that we didn't mind at all. We kept remarking that it would be the ideal type of place for us to own for ourselves someday (wishful thinking).

The cabin was on the river and had a very nice yard that sloped right down to the water. It was November and we did fish a little but were unlucky. I would definitely rent this in the summer just to play in the water. There was fire wood and a great fire pit. The deck and furniture were excellent. The cabin was spotless and had amenities that I did not expect--dish soap, kitchen towels, washer, dryer. etc. The only possible negative comment is that the sitting area was combined with the kitchen so the TVs were located in the bedrooms. This would have been fine had it been more than my husband and I. We usually travel with family and never turn on a TV. The host, Erwin, communicated well and made sure we could contact him at any time with any questions. I would rent again from him with confidence.

The cabin is beautiful and off the grid. Made me feel like I was staying at my family’s cabin when I was a kid. Very peaceful and great to sit back and relax. House is very clean and has beautiful surroundings.

Really enjoyed our stay. Cabin was beautiful, even nicer than the pictures. Kids loved the lofts and little “play room”. Everything was clean and comfortable. Host was really great to communicate with. Already planning a visit back!!

This was the absolute perfect place for our stay during the Thanksgiving holiday! I felt right at home instantly. So many amenities, Becki really has everything you could ever need for a great stay away from home. Her and her husband Mark were fantastic hosts and so friendly/helpful. I will absolutely book with them again!

This place was beautiful for a weekend get away. We enjoyed exploring the trails and sitting on the deck and enjoying the peace and quiet. Very much worth the money and then some.

It was such a comfortable environment and was the perfect getaway for a small girl’s weekend! The kitchen was amazing for all of our meals and the living room was great for relaxing along with lots of laughs!

Bob and Jenn are great hosts! It was cold so we used the gorgeous fireplace the whole time we were there and they provided plenty of firewood. Such an amazing place to get away and relax in their extremely comfortable, cozy home!

We liked everything very much, we stayed with the children, the children were delighted with the second floor, amazing nature, the pond, we liked everything very much, the owner provided coals for the barbecue, coffee, candles for lighting, everything was at the highest level

We had a fabulous time at the Lost Woods Cabin with our three kids over NYE. The space is incredibly cozy and inviting. Barry gave us excellent suggestions on activities. There's a lot to do in the area and the walks on the property were a huge highlight. We had such a great time and will be back again!

This house was so cozy and relaxing. Right next to kissing bridge made skiing easy. We will definitely be back!

The Dreamweaver cabin is absolutely beautiful and very spacious. Even with an event going on over the weekend our stay was quiet and peaceful! We loved having the farm store just a short walk away, plenty of trails to hike and a beautiful lake to enjoy. Overall it was wonderful and relaxing stay!

My group absolutely loved this cottage! It was perfect for us and it had everything we needed. 10 minutes to the town and Holiday Valley it was great! Definitely would recommend and stay again!
