Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Chandos Lake

Very much enjoyed our relaxing getaway at nortehaus. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and unwind in a romantic and beautiful cabin.

My stay was comfortable and relaxing! I love this house it’s so unique and fun. My son and I loved it. We found it feels sort of like a fort which we loved. The host is so relaxed and go with the flow it was so refreshing!!! Definitely give her a 5 outta 5 I will certainly stay here again and I recommend this place to anyone else who is looking for a airbnb in Bancroft area! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Reghan’s place was lovely! Had everything you could think of/need as a home away from home. Great location as well! Would love to stay again in the future.

This is my second time staying at the Eh-Frame. It was peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed. We had everything we needed to enjoy a quite weekend away. The weekend we stayed was a very cold snowy one, but my BF and I stayed warm and cozy by the fire. The games at the Eh-Frame and the TV kept us entertained. The driveway and road where cleared of snow in a timely manner so we had no issues getting out when it was time to come home. It was exactly what we needed to decompress from our busy, over stimulated lives. We just may make this an annual get away!

We had a wonderful time and experience. Hyacinth was very responsive and helped us out with our questions and concerns within the hour. The check in and check out was very well coordinated and she even immediately provided us with extra linen when requested late in the evening.

We had a great time. Sir Sam’s ski hill nearby. Hot tub was great for those days when ski hill was not an option. There is fast internet at the cottage. Very private and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

Pat’s cabin is perfect for a relaxing getaway in nature. The cabin was clean and comfortable, with beautiful views of the forest and pond. The land around the cabin, including the trail, was stunning. It was well stocked with everything we needed, and Pat was a very helpful host, responding to all our questions in a timely manner. We loved our stay at the cabin and can’t wait to stay again!

It is perfect place for family, very quiet and beautiful area. The house was clean and cozy, warm inside, but we recommend to bring warm socks or slippers. The lake is a few minutes away from the house , it is very nice! I highly recommend this place for family celebrations😁

Margaret seemed very nice, she left croissants in the kitchen for us to have in the morning. Overall a very cozy spot to stay and we had no issues. One thing I noticed is that there's an adjoining door that connects from her side of the building to ours and I'm not sure if it locks, maybe it does but I didn't see a lock option on my side. Anyway it still felt private and we definitely got what we paid for.

We went up for the weekend and found a new love for this little town everyone was pleasant and the place was perfect for what we wanted cozy, private suite with hot tub. Would definitely recommend 10/10

This was my second time staying in Judi and Dave's space, and like the first time, everything was great. The space is very large, clean and inviting, and is well-stocked with everything you need. Instructions are very clear and the location is phenomenal.

Gordana’s apartment was a quiet place for us to relax. Everything we needed was provided for us. Even a welcome surprise in the fridge. The bed was comfy and spacious.

I think Mary is one of the, or even the, best host we ever had on AirBnB. She and her husband Garry took the time to answer all our questions, come up with recommendations, and even lend us gear to be prepared for the snow. Their place was cosy and spacious, with all the needed amenities present. Their place was so clean, it made the stay without any stress. The included breakfast was very delicious and ensured us to be able to start the day well fed. Overall this would be a place to come back to and something we would suggest our friends and family to.

The place is beautiful although a bit hard to find. The driveway going to the house is a bit steep so we had issues going back up because of the snow. The owner was responsive and helped us with our issues

Christine communicated well and provided a list of all requirements. The lake and dock is absolutely perfect. A few steps down to the water but the shallow waterfront makes up for it. Awesome spots for kids to be swimming without worry. Lots of space.

Beautiful, clean, spacious, well equipped, has comfy beds and is dog friendly. Make sure to bring coffee, salt and pepper, oil, hand soap, dishwashing detergent, dishwasher pods, paper towel and a hair dryer. We enjoyed the ice rink and outdoor hot tub and some snow shoe paths on the property. It's only a 20 min drive to the Bracebridge forest management centre which has well groomed cross country and snow shoe trails, no charge. We enjoyed our stay.

Great place to go to when considering a private and quiet place!

David and Mimi’s place was gorgeous and had everything we needed for our stay. Great for families and kids. We enjoyed canoeing and kayaking on the private lake. They were very communicative and responsive, generous and thoughtful. We definitely recommend this place!

Great place for our large group. Clean, spacious, fun. We went during the winter so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors the way you do in the winter. The outdoor Muskoka room with fire pit as well as indoor hot tub was ideal for the winter.

John was able to accommodate us late in the evening when our previous Airbnb in the area had been cancelled last minute. The beds were clean and towels were new. Plenty of parking and easy to find. We had a private entrance with a door code. Big screen TV was also nice. Thank you!
