Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Chaitén

Wow! What an incredible location and hosts that did their best to make our stay magical. We felt very much like we were surrounded by the wilds of Patagonia, with breathtaking views and a grand sense of remoteness. We visited in the off-season, so the lodge was not open and the weather was mighty unpredictable, but we arrived to a fire already burning in the wood stove. Patagonia in the off-season has its own set of challenges, and the team at Yelcho helped us rebook cancelled ferries, and adapt to spotty internet in the area as the storms rolled through. It was always cozy and beautiful to come home to this place.

Whoever likes nature is the perfect place. The whole wooden cabin, wood smell inside it, the water is heard at night, which is very relaxing. Very comfortable beds for a restful rest and when they arrived they were warm with the stove lit

Great place to stay when passing through Chaiten! Nice hot shower, comfortable bed and a small kitchen with all the basics needed to prepare food. Short walk to restaurants and cafes as well.

What a fantastic place! The location is awesome: secluded off the road and peaceful. Very tastefully decorated with a cozy front porch and hammock. Check-in was awesome and early, with a warm welcome from Flor. She was so proactive before check-in and arranged a boat tour of Las Hermanas islands led by her daughter who speaks English. I wish we could have had more time in this lovely cottage. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, and the shower had great water pressure and hot water.

I had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin. The space was well-maintained, and had everything I needed. The internet was reliable and fast, which was a huge plus for my work needs. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful and productive getaway!

I spent 8 days in the cabin and truly enjoyed it. The location is absolutely stunning: hidden away and protected from wind and weather in a small canyon but with a wide view of the sea. 10’ walk to the beach. All necessary amenities incl. hot water, gas stove, electrical heating. It’s beautiful if you like your solitude and enjoy long walks along the beach and through lush hills. Mini market about 3’ walk. Everything else >30’ walk. I came without vehicle of my own and was always lucky to either catch public transport (little, remember it’s a tiny village) or catch a ride with a neighbor. No phone signal with Entel. Hence: this is the perfect place to unwind. I would come again any day. If you’re looking for the rumble, restaurants etc, however I’d recommend you to look in the larger towns of the island (Dalcahue, Quemchi). They’re not as picturesque as Quicaví in my opinion though :P

Friendly and lovely people, felt like home

We loved staying at Daniela's beautiful, spacious and very well equipped house. We were able to wash our laundry and cook our own meals in the well equipped kitchen. The location was perfect and Daniela was extremely helpful and very responsive when I tried to find things to do that were suitable for my 84 year old mom. We highly recommend this acommodation.

Amazing host and house. Comfortable and with lots of space, 3 bathrooms and 3 rooms. The house is easy to find, just search for "La Cabaña Fishing Lodge" in Google Maps. We went to the restaurant "Donde La Betty" in the near city with great homemade food. I really recommend the house!
