Holiday rentals with a kayak in Chain O' Lakes-King

What an incredible place to rent. Quiet neighborhood, lots of amenities, and great lake views. We have stayed at other rentals in high traffic areas (Kissimmee FL or Gatlinburg TN) that were OK but seemed like rentals based on the quality of furnishings, and cleanliness. This rental was amazingly clean - really spotless in every regard. It also had quality dish soap, laundry soap/dryer sheets, fluffy towels, well equipped kitchen, and comfortable furniture - it really felt like home for our 11 day stay. Becca was very responsive on a few occasions we had questions. The lake was beautiful and fun especially with the provided fishing gear, kayaks, life vests, and dock. The fishing was great but even if you don't fish the views are so relaxing day or night. Neighbors were friendly as we got to know a few and they would always say hello to our dogs when we walked them and even called them by name. All in all a fantastic property that we hope to stay at again.

If you want a quiet secluded little lake then this is the place! The house was adorable with all of the outdoor amenities like kayaks, paddle boards, tetherball and bags. The kids loved all the card games and the arcade machine inside and All the beds were comfortable. We had everything we needed for a party of 10 to stay comfortable and busy.

My group and I loved staying here. There were so many ducks and it was so relaxing to watch them and the view of the lake and lighthouse. Very thoughtfully stocked with everything you need including a kitchen with all the cooking essentials, lots of games, comfy beds and nice linens.

It was a great family vacation! Great view of the lake! Cozy and clean house. Loved the hot tub! We will come again.

The place was just like the pictures showed. Very peaceful, scenic and quiet. There was lots of room in the house. The backyard was private and right on the lake. Loved Use the huge fire pit. The kitchen very well stocked. There was recommendations for restaurants and stores in the area. Place is easy to find. We also enjoyed the front large deck as well. If you have kids, there’s plenty of games and boats to use in the lake. We went in fall, so didn’t do any swimming, but still enjoyed the scenic views and the fall colors. Hali checked in with me before and during my stay. I didn’t need anything but I’m sure if I did she would’ve been quick to respond. We really enjoyed our stay.

Was a comfortable stay and was perfect for us while we were up there working.

House and Host were both amazing! This was our 22 year renting a place for Labor Day weekend. House and host was amazing. House was everything and more than expected. Had amazing nights down and the fire pit on the peaceful river setting. Being in the house was comfortable and relaxing. Felt like we were at home. Kitchen had everything needed to make amazing meals. Plenty of room for the 4 families. Yard was huge and aloud the kids to run around and play yard games. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a place to get together and have an amazing time. Thank you Emily!

This was our second stay at this place for our annual family Christmas. Stacy gave detailed instructions and welcome before we arrived. We didn't bring our dog this time because of the rain as we were going to be in the woods for party of our trip. However, the entryway is a great place to clean and leave any wet clothes to dry; it's also where the laundry is. The layout of the house is spacious especially for grown up kids who need their own space to play games. The neighborhood area is safe to take a walk at night or early in the morning by yourself or with cousins. Unless we add more to the family, this is a place we will frequent.

We had a big group so hot water was scarce but otherwise a perfect place to stay. Hosts were very responsive and even let us check in early and check out late. SUCH a cute house! Plenty of space for 10 people and even plenty of activities for small children. No cell service but WiFi was great. Lake was frozen so we got to walk on it. 45 minutes to granite peak ski resort. Hope to come again!

We loved our stay at the Lion on Sunset Lake! Marcia is a great host-very kind, helpful and quick to respond. The house was clean, very well appointed and stocked with everything you can think of. Beds are very comfortable. Lots of fun, extra amenities to enjoy both inside and out. The screen porch was our favorite spot! We enjoyed the game room as well. We'd have no hesitation to book this place again!!

Rachael Cottage was everything we wanted and more. Cozy, comfortable, and had some of the most beautiful views of the Wolf River. Very safe and friendly neighborhood.

Our stay was a perfect getaway. The house was spotless. Every amenity was available. The lake was very quiet. The owners are very responsive. Bumper pool is fantastic. I highly recommend staying here.

We loved our stay here! The no-wake lake makes for a very peaceful, calm weekend by the water. We loved having access to the kayaks and canoes to enjoy the water. There are lots of trees along the sides of the yard, so it feels very private when you are hanging out by the house and the fire pit. We would definitely come back again.

Our family loved our recent stay here! The house had lots of space to spread out. We loved the patios, plenty of seating indoors and out. The indoor/outdoor patio area with garage door to keep the sand outside is a neat space. The beach area is nice and sandy with a gradual slope and the included water toys are a great touch. Our kids (3 & 6-year olds) along with the adults loved the slip-n-slide on the side of the house and the floating barge with a slide. The lake is quaint but plenty of room to boat around and swim. We also rented their pontoon which was extra convenient. The firepit area out front looked really nice with the cafe lights overhead. All the amenities provided definitely make us want to come back again! You will not regret staying here!

Besides a few rogue ladybugs trying to start warm for winter, the cottage was spotless. Communication was proactive and incredibly responsive. The guidebook had clear directions and the property was beautiful. We had a great stay and would absolutely return!

Thomas's place was perfect for our long weekend in the area. So many positives to share - very clean, cute decor, super comfortable beds, well stocked with everything you need, beautiful new pier, great view of the channel and lake, the list goes on. Most importantly hosts were super responsive to a small need we had. Loved our stay, wish would could have spent more time at the property.

Thank you from our family at your beautiful lake house .The weather was very cold ,but the house was warm & cozy We have a fairly large family & found the accommodations perfect for all of us . We were impressed our clean & well maintained the home was .The boys went ice fishing and caught a Northern Pike . We had so much fun enjoying our time together and some went in the hot tub and it was so nice and clean and warm . We definitely had everything we needed . Thank you & look forward to visiting again

We stayed at the cabin right before Christmas for a family get together in Green Lake and Kelsey’s place was absolutely perfect, cozy and quaint. The log cabin is just beautiful and the surrounding woods with plenty of deer wandering was so beautiful to see, especially this time of year! Kelsey and Zach were incredibly responsive to any questions we had. I would highly recommend their place and we are hoping it’s available again next December!

This is a lovely home and a great place to stay. It fit our needs perfectly as a family visiting the area for a wedding. It sits in a quiet, landscaped setting, is comfortably furnished with high quality amenities, and is well maintained. The lake is perfect if you are looking for a natural setting with plenty of birds and wildlife - if you are looking for a sandy beach, lots of open water, or an "all sports" lake it might not be for you.

Wow! Staying in your cabin has been thoroughly enjoyable! From snuggling up for a movie in front of the fireplace, to relaxing in the sauna after a day of skiing,It was absolutely perfect! The owner’s of these cabin are top notch. They’ve thought everything through and you have what you need while you’re there to make your stay as convenient as being at home...only better! We definitely be back again soon for summer,Thank you so much for making our stay truly CARE FREE!

Beautiful surroundings, exactly how it was described, great and responsive hosts!

Beautiful space in a serene location. We stayed over the Christmas holiday and visited Nordic Mountain (30 min drive) and Granite Peak (75 min drive) for skiing. The cabin was so cozy; Christine had a lit Christmas tree set up for our visit, which was very thoughtful and added to the cozy ambience. Wonderful fireplace, fully stocked kitchen (toaster, slow cooker, pots/pans, knives, bakeware, etc.) and gorgeous views made our stay all that we'd hoped for and totally relaxing. We sat on the back porch in misty fog, lit a fire, played board games and watched movies. All possible in this welcoming space. Family of five - older teens and two parents; all enjoyed our stay. The lake view from the cabin was beautiful and it was great that there were kayaks available. Very peaceful. Only things not ideal were the sleeping situation- not much privacy and you do have to sign a separate contract with card info. But overall great stay would definitely recommend.
