Beachfront holiday rental in Central Switzerland

We recently ended our stay at this comfortable apartment. Having already been in Verceia, I already knew that I would have been comfortable as a location with my two young children and my mother who has mobility problems, and this apartment was truly a manna from the sky. No stairs to face downhill or steep climbs to reach the points of interest we were interested in. In fact, it is a short walk from a grocery store, the bar, the lake walk, a small but beautiful beach with a nice sandpit for children already equipped with games to play with the sand, and the village playground. In short, everything is really comfortable including of course also the apartment that is nice, spacious and well maintained, with everything you need and if something is missing, Paolo will definitely make sure to get it. Finally, I spend a few words right on the host, who was really attentive and caring. We'll definitely be back ☺️

Rob provided clear and proactive instructions. He is very responsive. The place is as described and does many very useful things like a lot of ustensiles in the kitchen. It is Also easy to park outside for 3 cars as we were 3 separate couples. Also nice to enjoy the fire place after a cold day outside. Great place for skiing holidays,just 10 minutes by car from the ski resort les 4 vallées

Correct and accurate in all respects, quick and uncomplicated contact, helpful tips on restaurants and grotti, excursions and other activities for nice and bad weather. We liked the apartment very much, we felt immediately comfortable. The advantage of the apartment is also that it is only a few steps away from the fabulous promenade, so (at least during our stay) very quiet, although very central in the old, beautiful part of Ascona. Distance to parking garage and Coop is also tiptop. The public transport offer is also perfect for many beautiful excursions. Conclusion: The term "Superhost" is absolutely accurate; both the hosts and the place are definitely recommended! We wish you both great guests who appreciate your hospitality and help as well as the tasteful and cozy furnishings:-)

We had a wonderful stay at Daniele’s place. It had all the amenities and matched the description. The most beautiful part of the house is the small vegetable garden that they have which finally leads to the lake in 2 mins. Can’t better than this. I would surely recommend this place if someone is planning to come to Lake Como

We loved our stay at this location. Beautiful views of the water and great walkable location. Simone and her team were very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed paddle boarding and swimming. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Staying at suite castle absolutely exceeded the high expectations I had for visiting como! Giovanni is an amazing, considerate, and welcoming host and made the stay feel like I was visiting an old friend! My favorite night and memory from Bellano was the night he served dinner; full course meal was so delicious and no drink compares to a giovanni spritz! Great location and walkable town, so easy to take train or ferry around the lake to see a different town. Town of Bellano is very walkable and Giovanni gave great recommendations of places to eat/things to do during our stay. 30 second walk away to small beach and access to lake for swimming. The whole house is decorated with romantic detail in every corner and made me feel like I was in a movie, even with the decor, the space was clean and dust free! Amazing views even on a cloudy day! Very close to Menaggio where you can take a ferry boat to other beautiful gems of lake Como. We also took a ride up the hill where from we enjoyed a beautiful hike to the top. The apartment itself was very cozy and comfortable. Sitting on the terrace or with doors opened while enjoying a morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine from the local shop, felt better than in any restaurant, although the restaurants nearby were also very good. The host was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended!

In a fantastic location, in the ingenious ambience, we were allowed to enjoy a short but very relaxed time. There's something to discover everywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed the open-air bathroom when dark. We would have liked to have stayed longer.

We had a great time in Collico in Maria Teresa's place, not far from all amenities, with pool residence, nicely flowered, and views of the lake and mountains. Everything is very satisfactory, the cleanliness, the location, the hospitality. Only small downside. We missed a 2nd bedroom for our son and a little noise in the evening due to the proximity to a bar.

1 dog and 5 people were in a vacation rental for the first time and it was wonderful. Michael has received and beautifully received, although we had a long journey in the north of Germany behind us. He was always easily available for requests and gave us good suggestions for exploring the area. The place was better than we imagined it and through pictures and description. Kitchen is super equipped, we didn't miss anything. A cozy cottage with easy access to a lake section where you felt regularly as if there were hardly anyone else there. Relaxation was very easy, even for the dog. The area is wonderful to lend it with the dog. After the first few days we knew "Here we have to go again". All around, everyone is super satisfied and happy with this vacation home that happened to be found online. Thanks Michael!

Fantastic location to enjoy the como beaches and activities and restaurants and town of Colico Villa itself is fantastic to relax with great outdoor seating and pool area (which was lovely to cool off from the sun but still a nice ~20/22 degrees)

We had a great time at Doodle's Chalet in February 2025. We stayed in the loft apartment - a family with three kids and one dog. The view from the loft is indeed great. There are three bedrooms - two at the same level with the livingroom, the third one requires access via a steep ladder, which was not a problem for one of our kids who enjoyed sleeping there. The kitchen was clean and very well equipped, but bring your own basics such as salt and spices, olive oil etc. There's a coffee filter and a coffee Nespresso machine, and also a milk foamer which we made great use of. There are two large bathrooms with floor heating - be sure to bring your own shower gel and shampoo. It's just a five minutes walk to a promenade along the Walensee lake. 15-20 minutes walking to Unterterzen to the gondola. There's a bus stop 3-5min away, which will take you to Unterterzen / Walenstadt. There is no dedicated place to dry the ski boots (garage was very cold). Overall we had a great time and loved it!

This apartment was perfect for me and my partner. It was as described and the access to the beach area is beautiful. Would definitely recommend.

There is so much to boast about Andreas place and it still Would not do it justice. Andreas place was just as described and as the pictures show. The place is pristine and I cannot put into words the view that greets you, just insanely beautiful. Andrea provides clear instructions, recommendations on what to see and do, which I would suggest you follow as so many beautiful places within the recommendations and definitely worth the visit. Andrea is an attentive host answering all your questions and ensuring your stay is positive. Andrea’s place will not disappoint you, its so peaceful and we are incredibly sad to be leaving today. When arranging Andrea’s recommendation was to hire a car which was great advice and allowed us to explore lake Como to its fullest. We cannot wait to come back and haven't even left Italy yet. Very fresh and good accommodation with very nice and helpful host. Domaso is a small and quiet village, a good restaurant right across the street, more within a short distance. Operated main street directly outside but the home itself still protected. Nice pool, good beach and swimming in river in walking distance.

We were there as a family with two larger children and dog. Rita and Manuela are two wonderful hosts and were always present and responsive in turn. Rita had nice tips for us in the area to eat and eat. Rita's complex itself is located directly on Lake Como and is very neat and clean. The location in Domaso is remarkable, restaurant and supermarket within walking distance, even to the neighboring village of Gravedona you can walk along the shore. The kids really enjoyed the pool. Our apartment had everything you need. We stayed at Lake Como at Rita's place for the first time - we will definitely be back !

The apartment of giulia and marco is really great and perfect for a stay at lake como. The hosts answer extremely fast and friendly all questions. We especially enjoyed the balcony and its view during breakfast or in the evening. The only real downside is the proximity to the street and the trainline, which is noisy during nights. In total, we can totally recommend the apartment 👍

Wonderful stay in the beautiful apartment of Raffaello and Patricia. The location is simply fantastic right on the lake with incredible views, the apartment is nicely furnished with everything you need. The welcome was very friendly, Raffaello showed us around and gave many helpful tips. The apartment was absolutely clean and well maintained, we felt very comfortable. We will be happy to come back.

We stayed with Maria Rosa and Simone for the second time, and it was wonderful! They are very helpful and friendly. The apartment is very simply furnished, but it has everything we needed. Even if there is a radio hole there, we got this a router for wifi. And the fan really helped us a lot on the hot nights! There is always some improvement;) That would be the bed, for example, which is quite soft. No luxury, but wonderful holiday! Glad to come back!
