Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Central Saanich

Beautiful pet friendly property, biggest thing for us was it was very CLEAN. Recently had a terrible experience and was hesitant to use AirBnB again but Gail’s home was wonderful. She even left some home baking out for us when we arrived, very thoughtful! The only thing we didn’t really realize was that even though it is a private enclosed suite, there is people that live on the other side of the home that we could hear late at night. Not Gail’s fault at all, just something to note. Very friendly couple and inviting home for us to retreat to after a long day adventuring!

The first thing you notice when pulling in is that there is a lot of creativity and even bigger plans afoot for this unique property. We want to return just to see how Forbidden Island & All of its features continues to take shape. Twin Palms is currently the only completed unit so you get the feel of having a resort all to yourself. No expense was spared on this unit from finishes, decorations, appliances, etc. The care and attention to detail in every respect is simply stellar. There's nothing about Twin Palms we didn't love. Also if you have sensitivity to fragrance like we do in laundry detergents (we always bring our own sheets and towels) there's nothing to worry about here. Everything was scent free. We have never stayed at the same short term rental twice simply because there's so many intriguing options.. We absolutely want to return here.

We had a great stay at Gerry’s place! The apartment was cozy, clean, and exactly as described. He went above and beyond with a detailed tour of the space, making sure we were fully informed about every corner of the place. We really appreciated the dedication ! Overall, a lovely stay and a place we’d come back to.

Loved our stay here! They had spa music playing and the fireplaces going when we first arrived so the place was warm and ready for us (we visited during storm season). The backyard was perfect for our dogs to run around and it was fenced! Also, their bathroom soaps was such a treat as it was Saltspring Island soaps! The cabin is warm and very cozy, yet spacious! It had everything we needed to stay in, and was extremely close to town so a drive was always 1-5mins. They have laundry, but make sure you bring your own detergent. Overall an excellent stay-we had a fantastic time ringing in the new year. Thanks so much!

Amazing place that is particularly well-suited for families with kids. Very spacious and comfortable - you'll find everything you need there. They have smart speakers in basically every common room and in the backyard. The kitchen accessories (e.g., cutlery) are very high quality. Communication with Chrystina was incredible. The entrance off the highway was tricky; even thought they were very detailed in the instructions on how to get there. Some highway construction also made it a bit confusing to access (hosts have nothing to do with it, of course). Overall an absolutely amazing place. Great hosts, and an incredible, comfortable and spacious home. I would book it again in a heartbeat if I could. Thanks for having us!

This house was a home, which is hard to accomplish with it being so large! The airy-ness and openness were lovely for our group. Beautiful grounds and sweet spaces to gather and enjoy each other. The kitchen was very set up, and had all we needed and more! Extra linens and plenty of cozy places to sleep and rest. The game room was a bonus and the piano was all time! It even plays itself! Loved the stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Nice peaceful place to escape from the city. We really enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and taking in the view. Loved the nice touch of having a fire ready for us to start when we walked in and a bottle of wine chilled. Noting that the wood fireplace is for the most part the main heat source and property doesn’t get a lot of sun in the winter-take slippers as floors are cold. Had all the comforts you could want and the hosts were amazing!!🤩

We had a nice stay of three weeks at this Airbnb. The location is perfect, just a short drive from Victoria as well as close to stunning hiking trails. The place was very clean. We liked that it had a large TV in the living room and another one in the master bedroom. The gas fireplace in the living room was perfect for taking the chill off of the downstairs area in the morning, the only time we felt we needed to use it. The master bedroom was spacious with lots of closet space and drawers. We used the second bedroom as an office, and liked that there was enough space for two people to work. The upstairs bathroom featured a huge walk-in shower that was a real treat. We also enjoyed meeting the owner and his friendly dog, Biscuit, who live next door. We thought this airbnb was very reasonably priced and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Thoughtfully furnished and comfortable- would love to stay again!

Catherine's home was exactly as she described. She was very helpful with directions for getting around the island, gave me some tips around times that things close, where to find nice art. I arrived very late and her place was easy to get into. There was a pretty lighted path to show me the way to the door I needed to use. She is creating a water feature in her yard. It's going to be just gorgeous. The outside space is created for conversation in different settings within the property. If I visit Mayne Island again I will definitely go back.

: We stayed at Jiva’s Airbnb for a girls’ weekend to celebrate my mom’s 70th, and it was absolutely perfect! The views of the ocean and mountains are simply breathtaking—better than we could have imagined. The accommodations were wonderful: very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub every night, taking in the scenery and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect spot for a special celebration, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience. Karli gives really clear directions and is very friendly and welcoming. Like she does mention, I would recommand to arrive before it gets dark, to see the parking spot. The jacuzzi was the high of our stay, plus the space was very cozy, clean and well decorate. It is a very calm and relaxing environment. Although, the fridge was making a bit of noise. That being said, if you are a light sleeper, I recommand bringing earplugs. I would definetely stay again at Karli's place :)

Jordan is a wonderful host and the place is pristine. Everything was as advertised and more. I would not hesitate to stay there again. I highly recommend this warm,clean and very well organized home.

Attila's Sweet Suite was great accommodation, with a full kitchen and lots of space for two adults and a dog. We felt comfortable and relaxed there. The suite is in a quiet neighbourhood and is a short walk to beach access to Shawnigan Lake. Attila responded quickly to questions and was proactive considering our dog. It's a great place for anyone looking for a relaxing break.

We had a great stay here! Really cool spot close to Eash Sooke Park. Great hosts!

The three golden retrievers on the farm absolutely made the trip for me. I could have played with them all day long. The awesome location is surrounded by nature and there’s a trail head right there to explore a regional park. Peace and quiet and friendly people makes this island a very special haven in a fast paced and crazy time.

This cabin is a dream. So well designed and thought out. This is a place to relax and rejuvinate, celebrate over the fire pit in the back yard or in the front over the BBQ with friends and family. This was a gem - we were lucky to find at the tip of majestic Saltspring Island. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION.

The place was at a great location, it was close enough to the main part of town but far away enough to where it was still a quiet and peaceful spot. The cabin itself felt very cozy and was very well kept. Overall it was a great experience, I would highly recommend staying here if you’re planning on visiting the area.

This was the ideal place for our relaxing weekend . We all commented on how we wished our own places were decorated like it! Views from the deck were amazing and it had everything you could need.

The place is very private, comfortable and clean. The beds and linens were good and the kitchen well equipped. I loved sitting on the front steps in the morning sun with my coffee and around the fire at night. I loved that it was tucked away and private, but not in dark trees, like a lot of places on the islands. It was a great place to stay and a dreamy holiday on Galiano.

We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary weekend stay at Victor's place! Being dog-dads, we always appreciate a dog-friendly rental, and our golden-doodles made themselves right at home. The house was very comfortable. A fire was lit for our arrival, and the place is well stocked for cooking, cleaning, etc. Would definitely recommend!
