Loved every part of our stay. Safe surroundings , easy access day and night as guests. Lovely views and despite heat , home was lovely and cool. We loved the “stoep” to sit and chat

What a stunning home! We were awestruck when we walked in! The views are gorgeous and so is the decor. We were in town for a festival and decided to spend more time here than when we were out!

Granaatbos at Wolvekraal Guest Farm is outstanding. Absolutely beautiful area and accommodation! Remote, and very different to what we are used to from Jhb. Marvelous place to just relax. Pity we were there for only one night. Thank you for the stay.

Oh WOW! From the start this was a special place. Julia communicated with more information way before the booking so we knew about braai-packs, meals, horse riding etc. written in a very charming PDF. The house already had milk, farm butter, marmalade, Doornkraal Chenin Blanc in the fridge, coffee (and a plunger!!) tea, rusks, plums from that day's harvest. When travelling on a roadtrip, having things like this means we could really just arrive. +50 points for this! Breakfast was delicious! Fresh fruits, brand and cheese scones that we immediately slathered with the delicious butter, quince jam and marmalade from the fridge.Doornkraal farmstall lunch (20 mins away) - most delicious roosterkoeke and dessert wine. We also did a horse ride on the beautiful farm and ended with a sunset picnic which was incredible. Each bite amazing, delicious chutney, mustard, ostrich fillet, stuf more roosterkoek and their sparkling wine. Amazing people, special place, we will be back. Huis. Baie dankie!

I've met many wonderful Airbnb hosts over the years but Karel and Heleen are on a level of their own. I can't say enough good things about them. Heleen made me a pot of butternut soup for dinner on the day I arrived! Such warm, gentle people and Heleen's art installations and calligraphy displays are inspiring and evocative. I spent four nights on their wonderful farm and was so sad when I had to leave. If I could give them 10 stars instead of five, I would.

Lorna, who manages Geduld, met us at the house and showed us around. She was very helpful and gave us suggestion for restaurants with vegetarian options. The house was lovely and spacious with everything one might need, and a great stoep and outside braai area to sit and chat around. All the restaurants are within walking distance and we went to the Green Prince Gin Bar for a drink and some veggie burgers. All in all, a great stay.

We enjoyed a very peaceful stay at Cango retreat with a lot of friendly animals on site and in a beautiful location.

Amazing Stay Bronwyn and her son were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was beyond expectations—well furnished, spotless, and cozy. Stunning views of the river and mountains, great birdlife and quiet. Two scenic hikes nearby and the river a short walk away. Highly recommended!

What a peaceful stay! We enjoyed its quiet location, surrounded by the beauty of nature, blessed with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. The little touches like welcome port, homemade bread, rusks and filter coffee was so thoughtful of our host and made us feel right at home. This stay is ideal if you want to get away from the hustle of a busy town but still have access to wifi. Thank you for a wonderful and restful stay!

We loved our stay at Insika and wished we could have been there longer! The lovingly restored cottage is located in a stunning setting, has beautiful, thoughtfully designed interiors and there is plenty to do on the farm. We especially enjoyed the outdoor showers, picking our own vegetables, hiking and swimming in the river near the cottage. We also loved that the place is pet friendly and that we could bring our dog along. Gill and Michael were exceptional hosts! Communication was easy and pleasant, both before and during our stay. They provided everything we could need, topping up the plentiful wood and drinking water supply while we were there. They are really lovely people and it was a pleasure to meet them. We would highly recommend a stop-over (conveniently located just off of the R62) or longer stay at Insika!

The stay on the farm was private and incredible. The views from the pool and jacuzzi of the mountain range and farm lands were awesome. Thank you.

It was a lovely stay, we felt very welcomed. The whole family was involved to make our stay as comfortable as possible for us, helped with the braai and provided tips for our trip. We really enjoyed the farm, thank you!

Accommodation was clean and tidy. Comfortable bed. If you want peace and quiet this is the place to stay. Also very hospitable hosts. 5 stars

Great value for money. Beautiful tent with an amazing bathroom. Outside shower was fantastic. One thing to note is that tent 9 and tent 10 are in an area with a pool with no net so parents with young children might want to choose the other tents if their children aren't water safe. A great stay.

We had a great stay at Howard’s home. The home is clean, incredibly well equipped and an easy 5 min walk from restaurants and shops. The location could not be better. Howard and his team are well organised, welcoming and proactive. Easy communication and great recommendations too! We highly recommend this stay for a quiet, central base to explore Prince Albert.

Stay here! Absolutely beautiful location, Elanda was SO helpful and welcoming, even after we arrived later than expected. The house has everything you need and lots of space. I would 100% come back and recommend!

Marina is a very friendly host making us feel very welcome. The room was comfortable with a nice big bath. Lovely to wake up to Karoo landcapes (we arrived in the dark), and of course the air was wonderful to breathe. If you don't mind a 27 km dirt road, highly recommended.

Staying at Brita's place was an absolute delight! The view of the mountain is spectacular, and the house is spacious, homey, and comfortable. A peaceful and tranquil retreat. Brita and her family were incredibly hospitable and attentive hosts. We loved the unique experience of the wood fire stove, and the underfloor heating was a welcome touch on the cold winter nights. The starry evenings were absolutely magical. We had an incredible time and only wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back!

We stay here every year and will continue to do so for many more... Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful surroundings, peaceful and the restaurant is awesome...

This is our 2nd time staying at Lavender cottage and we hope to be back. Lovely setting-Great accomodation.
