Kate's place was a fabulous place to stay with my doggo. One of the most generously well-equipped kitchen's I've experienced, super comfortable beds, warm and homely and a stunning view across the lake! Kate is a wonderfully warm and kind host, easy and responsive communication. I highly recommend Kate's place and will definitely stay again.

Spent three nights at Lisa's place and never left it! The view from the deck was amazing. The house was clean and tidy and had anything you would need for cooking. Good TV service as well. Did a few walks from the house down to and around the lake. We had a great time there and would recommend it for a break away. The only possible problem for those with low slung 2wd is that it does have a long, fairly steep and rocky drive. We made it up but the wheels were spinning in places. Still had a great time there.

Mandy's place was very clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. Everything was in excellent working order. We had a very pleasant stay and Mandy was able to accommodate our last-minute request for a booking (due to a change in our original travel plans). Miena was very calm and peaceful.

We absolutely loved our stay at CNW. Ash was extremely friendly and thoughtful, the cabin is absolutely beautiful, and the surrounding area is stunning. We stayed three nights and could easily have stayed much longer. We loved cooking on the camp fire (especially the giant marshmallows), the cosy indoor fire and all the delicious provisions. Very unique and cozy cabin. We had an amazing time there, enjoying the view of the lake through the large windows was fantastic! The house has soul and a lot of hidden details which you don't expect to find. My wife had one fun idea - would be to include a scavenger hunt as part of the stay, as the house is really suitable for that! Really peaceful atmosphere and inspires creativity. We really want to visit this cabin again in winter, to hopefully catch the snow. Really enjoyed our time here!

We had a wonderful stay in Maryanne and Michael's house. The place is very cosy, clean and full of character. You can tell that the house was built with care and love. The owners were very kind and flexible. The surrounding area is also incredible with quiet and peaceful lakes and plateaus. I highly recommend!

What a find! An absolutely beautiful cottage in the most serene surroundings. Linda was an amazing host - so quick to respond and full of advice and recommendations. There was a never ending of supply of wood for the fire. The cute touches inside and outside the cottage were amazing - every where you look there is a personal touch. The Alpaca and sheep were beautiful. Can’t recommend Linda’s cottage highly enough - absolutely loved it!

Nicole's place is so special, probably the best place to experience Tasmania's lake district. The cottage is gorgeous, so cleverly made that everything is comfortable, easy to use and your focus is always on the lake which is stunning no matter what the weather. It was great to meet Nicole and chat about the area and the cottage's construction. We definitely could have stayed longer.

Peter’s house is lovely and really well equipped. The area itself is quite isolated so be sure to bring your own provisions. There’s small shop and petrol station and 2 good pubs. We loved our stay
