See Prague in a new light on a casual 5K run with me, a film maker, connecting with the city’s unique historical vibe—and hearing some stories about life in the movie business. • Meet at Prague Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where we’ll discuss our pace and distance preferences to make sure everyone’s comfortable. Then we’ll warm up and stretch. • Set off on a jog through the city, passing landmarks like the Lesser Town, Jewish Quarter, Old Town Square. Along the way, I’ll share stories from the film sets I’ve worked on over the years. • Wrap up the run at the Charles Bridge, where you’ll have the option to have yourself drawn by a great caricaturist (my dad!) at a discount. You’ll leave with a stronger connection to the city, and maybe with a juicy tidbit about an A-lister or two.

Taste your way through African history in Berlin Kreuzberg

The Berlin neighborhoods of Kreuzberg and Neukölln are renowned for their multicultural character. Join me for a culinary tour that explores decolonial narratives around food, highlighting the global influences that have shaped African and German cuisines. • Meet at Sahara Imbiss, a beloved Sudanese restaurant, where we’ll start with appetizers and talk about the Arab and British influences on Sudanese cuisine. • Next, we’ll walk to nearby Ethiopian and German restaurants, tasting a few dishes at each place. We’ll discuss the historical ties between Ethiopia and Germany as well as the international origins of favorite German dishes like döner kebab. • We’ll conclude by savoring West African dishes at a fourth restaurant as we reflect on how culinary traditions evolve in a globalized world. Over the course of the afternoon, you’ll sample an array of drinks and vegetarian dishes, and leave with my recommendations for other Berlin restaurants to explore.

You will explore the city with your personal plague doctor, our forgotten hero A. Schamsky who fought the Plague in 1713. In the original dress of a plague doctor we will take you on a journey through the different centuries for only one purpose: Surviving! A historical walk with shocking details of the pneunomic and bubonic plague. What have we learned from this and when did it all end? An interactive tour to the hidden gems of the old town. We´ll stop by at the old St. Francis hospital and conclude the tour at the convent of St. Agnes. The tour is interactive, hence your questions are more than welcome. Tour to Auschwitz and Birkenau

The way we organise this tour is different than most of the tours to Auschwitz ,so please make sure it will suit you :-). It's for visitors that expect to see more than during regular tour You will see authentic Juden Ramp where most of the selections were done, it is 2 km away from the main camp (again most of the visitors don't get to see it). After that You will visit Auschwitz II Birkenau extermination camp (that's where Holocaust happened) with an audioguide. It's at least 1,5 h of walking . Then we will have a lunch break in local restaurant and finally you will visit the museum of Auschwitz I all the evidences of the crime, the gate , partly reconstructed gas chamber and crematorium building and all belongings of the victims. Because You will enter the museum as individual visitors You will have a chance to see a few barracks more that big organized groups Please be aware that you will do a lot of walking .Despite being able to have more time you need to know that still you won't be able to see it all and You will have to make a hard choices and please be aware that time of departure may change or we might be back in Krakow later than planned regarding to traffic or how busy museum is.

Then we'll give you a tour of our bird shelter, during which you'll get familiar with all our birds and owls, and the way our breeding center operates to save various endangered species. And finally—the hands-on part of the experience! We will let our well-trained birds of prey fly free and you will participate in feeding them. Our bald eagle Helen, vulture Omar, a group of Harris hawks and others will fly just above your heads, and they will land on your arm protected by a special leather glove. We will finish off by showcasing the training of the fastest animal on the planet, a falcon. ❄️☀️ This is a year-round, all-weather event. Even though it takes place mostly in the open air, we've got you covered: a heated garden house & several outdoor heaters are at our guests' disposal during the cold days and we're well equipped for the rainy weather as well. Telltale Ghost Tour

Next to the Astronomical clock, you will meet your guide in a stylish historical costume, who will lead you into Old Town’s darkening alleys. There, you will be shown locations of dreadful discoveries, medieval graveyards, ancient churches and hospitals, as well as other places of Prague associated with the undead, demons and strange apparitions. The stories about them shaped the city’s self-perception for centuries! Through the lightly theatrical storytelling, you will familiarize yourself with the authentic creepy lore of the locals, but also learn a lot about the city’s past, as your guide will put the tales into historical context that further expands your understanding of Prague and its horrorful side. The tour makes stops at a handful of famous Prague landmarks (see under “Where you’ll be”) but also leads through picturesque areas off the beaten path with hidden gems.
