This house is on the Retallack resort which is lovely. it is peacefula at night, the surroundings are great and there is plenty to do if you wish to use the facilities of the resort. we like this location as it is suitably placed to venture off to different areas of Cornwall. we always enjoy Daymer Bay for dog walking, Trevose head and Padstow. the house itself is as the photos show. good proportions, well equipped, warm, comfortable and ideal for the 5 of us and our 2 dogs. check in was super easy and Tom was very proactive throughout. we very much enjoyed our stay

Have just returned home from a wonderful one night stay at Fox’s Lair and River View. We were a group of 6 adults, with 3 staying in each pod. Despite the torrential rain outside, we were super cosy and comfortable within the pods. Location is excellent, only a few minutes drive to Skibbereen. The host Claire was really helpful and treated us to tea, coffee and breakfast cereal within each pod. Plenty of towels, bedding and warm blankets were supplied. We felt very welcome and would happily plan a return visit.

The house is in a fantastic location, both within the holiday complex it’s set in and where it’s placed in Cornwall, so much to do on the doorstep, with easy access to both the north and south coasts. The house is very clean, has instant hot water and well laid out with two bedrooms downstairs and two upstairs. The living room upstairs with the table football is a great addition to the kitchen/dinner/sofas downstairs. The balcony with a hot tub is great too. The house is very quiet and the position of the house makes it very private. The use of the indoor pool and tennis courts were a great bonus. The house could feel more homely with more artwork on the walls and nicer furniture (it’s a bit of a mishmash of charity shop stuff that doesn’t go together), but this is a minor point compared to the real positives mentioned above. We had a brilliant stay and would highly recommend it. Melanie is a great host and very responsive.

Amazing stay comfortable clean and outstanding views. We arrived during a storm but Rebecca and James kept updating us and checking in to see if we were okay. Jill's modern terraced cottage, built in 1990, is in a great location with wonderful views. Parking is easy and free of charge. The cottage has bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor and upstairs is open plan with wonderful views over the tidal estuary and a small balcony at the front, which I'm sure would be lovely in the summer! There is a beautiful beach and wonderful coastal paths with great views. We couldn't believe the peace and quiet of the area, with just the bird song to listen to. Many thanks for this great airbnb property!

We have just spent a lovely Twixmas break at Deborah’s beautiful place and I’m already trying to figure out when we can visit again. We loved the location and that the space felt totally private but was only five minutes from local pubs and restaurants. I loved being able to run down to the beach in the morning and we both enjoyed watching the sunset over the sea from the lounge. Spotlessly clean and with lots of little touches to make us feel at home - I’d highly recommend this Airbnb and would love to stay again!

The lodge was very nice and homely with all essential equipment. It was exceptionally clean & comfortable. The neighbourhood is extremely quiet, and just a short walk to the train station & Pembroke. I would highly recommend staying here & look forward to returning in the future.

Philippe is a welcoming host. We immediately felt comfortable in the discussion. The accommodation is very "cosi", simple but very warm. The exteriors are worthy of an English cottage..with plenty of quite friendly retro decor. The proximity to the port and the coast is appreciated for both walking and cycling. Highly recommend this sweet spot.
