Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Cefalù

Beautiful home with an abundance of orange and lemon trees as well as a short walk to the beach. What else could you wish from a place like this?

We stayed as a group of 9 during the winter months. The Villa was beautiful, and overlooked the ocean (from a distance). It was peaceful and serene. Paolo kindly offered us access to his orange and lemon trees, which were amazing! He was a helpful host, helping order us pizza our first night when everything seemed closed. The large dining table and kitchen at the back of the house was perfect for family dinners. We used the outdoor BBQ (propane) and the indoor stove/top range - all worked well. We also used the fire pit and Paolo was kind enough to give us some firewood. The house is about ~20 minutes from Palermo by car, which you definitely need in order to stay here. If you don't feel like cooking, try Bragone restaurant (15 mins). Incredible pizza/pasta in the countryside. We stayed during a cold spell, so while there were lots of heat and heaters available, we were chilly at times because we had to balance the electric load just right to keep things running smoothly.

we really enjoyed our 9 day stay at Don Ciccio Seahouse. We were a family group of 10 ranging in age from 23 to 86 years old. There are plenty of different areas and rooms both indoors and outdoors for everyone to have their own space as well as be all together for meals for example. The garden is very pleasant and the pool area beautifully maintained as well as spacious, with great views. We had 2 hire cars and it would be difficult without. I'd definitely recommend a car to go to the shops, restaurants, station etc... Going into Palermo was easy using the train, the station is 5min drive away and has a free carpark. Mattro was a really great host, very responsive and really helpful with everything. He gave us a great introduction to an amazing local bakery/deli which we visited every day! Definitely recommend the house 😀

We spent a week here and will definitely book again when we return to Mondello. The apartment was clean and had the essentials we needed. Location is prime - super close to the beach - what more could you ask for?

We were in Mondello in July 2024 and had a fantastic vacation. The beaches and the turquoise blue sea were stunningly beautiful. The apartment of our host Gabriella was just as beautiful as in the pictures, very clean and well appointed. We didn't lack anything. The terrace provides shade during the day and invites you to a glass of wine in the evening – simply beautiful. Gabriella is a warm and loving host who can always be reached by phone. A special experience was when we closed the front door in the middle of the night and the key was inside. We called Gabriella, and her husband came right away to help us. We are very grateful for that. Gabriella was always available for questions and useful tips. We felt very comfortable with her – it doesn't get any better than that. Simply the most beautiful and charming Airbnb I’ve ever been, the stunning private outdoor terrace was a plus on top of an exquisite design and incredible attention to the details and comfort Each room with very high ceilings is the best combo of history and modern comforts, The are can’t be any better, because very quite and yet just in the city center Host always very responsive Superb!

David is a very good host. He and Donatella waited for us at the apartment on our arrival. On request, he had arranged an airport pickup for us. When we were sharing our interests, he shared a long list of restaurants he recommends as well as places to visit. He even shared the link to a local conservation group and we were able to hook up with a birding guide. He also put us in touch with Francesco who drove us to many day trips! David is very responsive. The apartment is ideally located to walk to all the historical sites in Palermo as well as excellent restaurants. The unit is very compact and small, but with all the amenities one needs. Just one floor to climb. The building has an elevator that we used only to carry our luggage during checkin and checkout.

We loved the location of the apartment which is right in the center, although the street can be quite noisy at night. The accommodation is well equipped especially the kitchen and Sabrina is very attentive!

The apartment, although small, is equipped with everything you need, it was clean and comfortable. The center was easily accessible on foot. The stay was pleasant!

Michelangelo gave us a very good welcome, including getting into the limited traffic zone. The apartment is very close to the center with private parking and there is really everything you need. You can get everywhere on foot. This city of Palermo full of contrasts and richness really seduced us. Very nice stay.

Honestly the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Gracious host who couldn’t have done more to help us. Very quiet location in the middle of busy Palermo, you won’t find better anywhere else.

We had a great week at Leanne’s apartment in wonderful Palermo. It’s the perfect base to explore the city from and a calm setting to start and end the day. Leanne was really helpful with any questions we had, responding instantly and gave us local recommendations when we arrived. We were visiting with our toddler and Leanne left some toys for him to play with, really making a home from home! Would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Palermo and want a memorable time ✨

Great location to visit Cefalu especially as there is private parking in the courtyard. We regret not meeting Laura but on the other hand we were able to appreciate the kindness, kindness and availability of her co-host Francesco. A very good time for us in Cefalù.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Valentina is an excellent host, always very quick to respond and very helpful letting us into the apartment well before the check in time. The neighborhood is very nice, not as busy as the touristic center but still in the heart of the city. Please be aware that the free parking is not on location but a few blocks away. Not a problem at all once Valentina sent us the location. We can highly recommend the apartment and it’s great host.

Very clean and well renovated apartment. Spacious and comfortable bedroom. There was everything you needed at check-in, including much appreciated little touches. The apartment is in a neighborhood that seems a little average.. a little dirty but we had no worries in the neighborhood , when we were only 3 girls. It is close to all the things to see. In short, if you don't mind the environment, I recommend the place!

Very helpful check in with Simonas father. Allowed us to drop and leave luggage. Spacious and very well equipped apartment. Immaculately clean. No issues again. Would highly recommend. Great central location. Walkable to train station.

Such a lovely place and great hosts. The apartment is clean, close to main sights and restaurants, and has everything you need. Felt right at home. The hosts were accommodating for an early check in and late check out. They’re great. The area can be quite loud since bars surround it. For the average/light sleeper, I’d recommend earplugs. Manageable if you bring them. Would absolutely return here and recommend to anyone.

The location was in the city center, the only downside was finding parking but that is not unique to this Airbnb! The rooms were spacious!

Angelo and Valentina's accommodation is located in a quiet alley in Kalsa: it is very convenient as a starting point to get around on foot visiting Palermo and is also very close to useful public transport stops to reach nearby towns or more distant neighborhoods of the city. The neighborhood is quiet and lively together, very pleasant even in the evening. The apartment is well organized and comfortable (we are a family with two children and they also loved the house). Angelo was very helpful, as well as a considerable source of tips and information. For us in the future, it will certainly be home in Palermo. Highly recommended.
